I think more if not all the AVs should pop a nuke before dying (Like Nightstar and Wretch), and maybe again at the half way point. If not a nuke than some kind of debuff or summoning allies (like Recluse). AND to make control handy to have, if the AVs are controlled at their breakpoints they miss the chance to pop their nuke (or whatever other power).

Back on live, I made an AE mission and copied all my defender and corrupter characters: Trick arrow/Arrow, Fire/Cold, Sonic/Radiation emission, Ice/Kin, I forget what else. It was pretty brutal. Once engaged you were quickly blinded, stripped of all defense and resistance, stuck to the floor and moving at a snail's pace. I could never get anyone to play it more than once.

This is exactly what I do. You can get more enhancement value slotting SOs until the 30s, but I save time and influence by slotting once and done. The only thing I have to do at 50 is make the ATOs and Winters Superior and add any purples if the build calls for it. The other bonus is that you get some nice set bonuses early and often as you level up. But if you are going to farm all the way, then you are better off slotting at 50 with the highest level of IO your build calls for and boosting them if needed or wanted. I find that usually boosting is not needed unless you need just a little more oomph to get to softcap, or perma-something, or maybe cut some endurance cost out of that purple set or single slotted power.

Confirmed. My double stacked rage Envenomed Dagger did almost 800 damage on a level 50 Succubus! About 235 plain, without any rage. I never knew!

Wait . . . fury and rage boosts the damage of temp powers? I thought they were all set to ignore +dam? Is it all temps or certain ones? I've only played one SS tank and one EA scrapper. I think I might have to take a drink from your grail.

The answer used to be an easy "no" for me, but as @C U R S E said, the recent MM changes make the attacks not only worth it, but possibly essential. (Curse neglected to add that Bots moved -regen from the pets to the MM's attacks.)
