Confirmed that it does NOT award for getting the Atlas Tour Guide Accolade, but DOES award after getting two more explore badges. I got mine in KR. I have to agree with the folks that say it should be 8 explore badges. That way us "old folks" can get it the way we are used to and the new folks can find the badges organically or by design once they learn. That would be my preference, but getting 2 more badges in KR, when I was going there at level 6ish anyway, did not add significant time. Oh! and I got a popup directing me to head on over to the University in Steel for some inventions training! Nice.

But Jimmy, I don't care what anyone else says, you're OK in my book. These few little things alone will save so much time for each new character created.

Yeah, that's fair. It doesn't have the satisfaction of something like Assassin Strike or Blaster nukes taking stuff out in one shot. But you drop Storm Cell, then Cat5, and then your other storm attacks and large groups are dying from a thousand cuts, getting knocked down, trying to run out, and otherwise not firing back.

Doesn't really matter if they want to be named that, because you can't use asterisks or ampersands in character names. Right. Sorry. How about F6(GHvH or Bqk8!zzzz Man? I don't have a problem with HC's proposed resolution and, to be frank, it wouldn't bother me if they never instituted it. But if I had to be away for a time and came back to find someone else had taken Bionic Flea (who's been level 50 since Issue 2 or 3 live and a few weeks after HC opened), I would pop a gasket, cry, flip over my computer table, and any other over the top thing you can imagine. Even if I was in a coma for five years. Hell, ESPECIALLY if I had been in a coma for five years.

Storm Blast changes: I've been playing a Storm/Regen on Beta. While it's been a while since I played Storm Blast, it does seem to feel stronger. My live build was a Storm/Storm corrupter that I need to transfer over for some head to head comparison. But from memory, I think this Storm sentinel was putting out as much or more damage as the corrupter, and I would never have thought that was possible. Again, this is just perception and not hard numbers. I'll get back to you with a head to head comparison.

I've been leveling a Storm/Regen Sentinel on Beta and got him to about 43 and running Mako's second arc solo at +0/x8 (yeah, yeah, I know that's not the design scale). I'm not sure if it's Sentinel or the CoT, but I was frequently getting confused and then held. Getting confused is par for the course for redside COT with all the succubi, but I don't recall ever being held on a character with a mez protection toggle. I need to try it some more to see what was stacking the holds on me. But even if this was a team, it's dangerous if your meat shield runs in and gets held in the alpha. Also: Storm/Regen Sentinel is awesome. The storm improvements and older sentinel changes make him feel very strong. Now I need to make one on live.

It should be part of the dialogue that sends you to Steve Sheridan or Provost Marchand. "Hey, you can go to Primal Earth now or you can stay in Preatoria's First Ward. "

Something I just made testing Storm blast changes on the new patch and I'm really digging it now. You can't see it, but in battle it also has the ACCHUD aura overlay on the helmet and it looks awesome.

But Jimmy! Don't forget to change the color in game as well. Every time you have a Praetorian alignment choice, you get the Blue and Gold, which I had forgotten. So it's not just in the initial screen, and that makes it more difficult, I assume. PS. My computer says you misspelled color! PPS. I took a fly around Precinct 5 and didn't see any holes in the war walls.

Can we get a lot more slow added to one or more powers in lieu of an immob? While that won't solve the containment issue, at least it keeps things in place and out of our squishy faces longer.

I was about to make the opposite suggestion and recommend a mention of P2W before entering, or some kind of indication that folks should talk to her. Alternatively, and perhaps splitting the baby -- place the P2W at the end of the tutorial with a suggestion that you talk to her if you need "equipment."

I think it might be interesting and appropriate to have Resistance and Loyalists as different shades of purple. Like Violet for Resistance and Magenta for Loyalists. I also think it could use an explanation or list of the "11 basic archetypes" or a list of the 4 you can't get as a Praetorian.
