Nice. Did you manage to note just influence without accounting for drops? As noted, drops can be very random. Except for SBB, ASF, RSF, and MLTF where you can get a guaranteed Overwhelming Force or HO/D-Sync. But even those vary greatly among them depending on the specific drop.

You can count whatever you like, but recipe drops are extremely random. I have had three purples drop in one farm and then not get another one for weeks. How long does it take, on average, to clear most of the map when AFK? Otherwise you can just choose 5 or 10 minutes to leave it running and take stock at that point. There are some timed farms that kick you out after 5-10 minutes. But yeah, leaving it running overnight will probably give terrible inf/min results. So unless you are running multiples or automating, or both, AFK farming is going to produce a low number for inf/minute.

Obviously, if you said one thing I disagree with, I must travel through time to down-thumb everything! This is the way.

Destiny: Incandescence Radial gives: Targeted Wide AoE League Teleport, +Healing Received, +Stealth, +Perception Radius, +Move Speed. Foe Knockback, Stun. So you Teleport your team to your location, give them all stealth and perception, boost to heals and move speed, and if you do it around enemies they get knocked and stunned. Alpha: Cardiac sounds good not just for the endurance reduction and resistance, but for the RANGE! Judgment: Vorpal is the closest thing to a tele-attack. It's like the Flash giving everyone in the room a roundhouse kick. If you go radial you get a boost to defense for a short time. Hybrid: Assault Core - MOAR DAMAGE! Interface: My usual go tos are Degenerative and Reactive. I've been using Spectral more too, especially on controllers. Lore: I might go with Robotic Drones. They like to stay at range so I think they will wait for you to engage with a tele-attack and then shoot from behind you.

Ukase, would you say that your AFK farmers average about 500-750k inf per min? Someone else gave me that number. I'm just trying to get a confirmation.

And it looks a bit like this:

Updated my old post.

Breaking down CoyoteDancer's two runs into inf per minute, she got: ~327k inf/min on the meteor and ~268k/min on Old School Wolf farm (including most drops for both). A large part of the discrepancy between her numbers and mine I expect are because she had another player splitting the rewards.

I have 44 level 50s, all built to my specifications, including all ATOs/WinterOs catalyzed and at least +1 via incarnates, most +3, but only a few favorites are T4 to all. I tend to make one character and play it to 50+ before starting on a new experiment.

Replying to @Stoked Nope. That was a farming brute, made for farming fires in AE and to PL characters on my other account. Is that wrong? I don't remember how I leveled him. He may have self PL'd by doing farms on lower settings and ramping up as I got more powers and slots. I think the only non-AE stuff he's done is getting accolades and these recent tests. Maybe some other stuff, but not much. I never claimed to be the best farmer, and that 1 mill inf/minute was just one run of one asteroid. I might get a little better if I kept running the same one over and over, but I doubt I'll get into the 2.5 mill/min others say they do. What's your Inf per minute? I think his build was about 300 mill, but I keep a lot of stuff I use in stock. It took me about an afternoon to have him up and running from level 1 to fully slotted. I have no idea how many people use full sets, generics, SOs or something in between. That would be interesting to know. Oooooh . . . wait . . . that was all sarcasm in your post. You didn't use a little smiley face! Never mind, then. 😜 PS - Everything I said in this post is true and accurate.

Well, we've had a Dominatrix for as long as I can remember and her followers are . . . well . . . I'll just leave this here:

A) I happily await your results. B) I have no shame, therefore cannot be embarrassed. C) Don't let my work dictate yours. As long as you are consistent in your methodology and properly record and reveal your tests they can be benchmarks unto themselves . . . oh but wait, that would just be one data point, like polling one person . . . never mind, carry on. FOR SCIENCE!!

It was . . . a catastrophe!

None of the HC Team have stated they want to eliminate farming, or eliminate AE. They have made some adjustments in the past and have proposed making a change in the next update. It's not the end of the world, or the end of farming, or the end of AE. It's all going to be OK.

Feel free to add your own numbers. I heard you like to test and be helpful. P.S. I've added numbers for an ITF and will continue to add stuff as I go along.

Raising PvP Zone -level enforcement- NON RV
Bionic_Flea replied to Kataklysm's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I don't know if anyone mentioned this before, but if you up the levels for players and not mobs that would make getting Warburg warheads and Shivans very easy to get. Perhaps easier than the devs want, although I am sure many player's wouldn't complain.- 110 replies

I emptied my pockets and timed myself in a meteor fire farm and got about 1 million Inf per minute. I have been told that better farmers than I can get between 2 and 2.5 million per minute and that good AFK farmers get between 500 - 750k per minute. I just ran a Council radio and made about 250k inf per minute - but that will vary by map. Then I made about 435k inf per minute in the first mission of Market Crash (long tunnel with Freaks). That took too long because I had AV setting on. Maybe between 500-600k without the AV? And I could get better doing these too. I forgot to use my inspiration binds until halfway through the Market Crash Tunnel. And I should have pulled mobs more in both Market Crash and radio mission. But no matter how much better I get, it's hard to get the density of critters that one gets in the meteor map, which is also wide open so one barely has to move. EDIT: I ran Market Crash again and stopped the clock when I only had the AV left and came out with 610k/min EDIT2: I ran a +4 kill most ITF with a decent team. 34 minutes start to finish (not counting Rommy who rezzed again after mission complete or the towers) for 337k inf per minute. This was all run by the same player (me) on the same character (a rad/fire brute made for farming) and all at level 54. Lets review: Solo AE Meteor Map - 1 million/min Solo Market Crash 1st - 610k/min Kill Most ITF (team of 8 ) - 337k/min Solo Council Radio - 250k/min So based on my runs, AE Meteor farm is 4x as good as a Council Radio, 3x as good as a kill most ITF, and a little over 1.5x as good as Market Crashes first mission. I always started the clock once I was in the map and clicked build up to begin attacking. Clock was stopped on mission complete, except for Market Crash due to AV at the end. I am only counting influence earned by killing critters and completing mission. Other drops are extremely variable and one lucky purple can totally skew results. I also did not count merits, though they are deterministic based on the TF/Trial/Story Arc, their value can vary based on what you do with them and of the content I ran, only the ITF awarded merits. I tried to add a run of Heather Townsend, but I forgot to empty my pockets first (or note how much I had) so I'll have to try again another time.

issue 27 Issue 27, Page 4: General Feedback

I had a similar thought, as I couldn't find my screenshots in the usual place, and then remembered that Dropbox added a screenshot folder and that's where they ended up. Do you have Dropbox or something similar, maybe? -

I get that you have that feeling, but this new page has a lot more stuff than just the AE stuff and hard mode ITF. New RP bars and "bases"; new costume stuff including all the temp costumes (I made a stone/staff tanker on test with Nemesis Costume and Nemesis Staff. So much fun!); new incarnate story arcs and repeatables that can be run solo; new badges; new power sets; new maps; etc.

That's with the Cloak on and unsuppressed. Minus about 5 once combat starts.
