  1. Makes sense, but ideally we could define both the button color and the font color. Maybe macro_color would require 2 arguments - first for the button color, second for the font color? Something like /macro_color ButtonColor FontColor tooltip commands (ex: /macro_color Red White "Boop" "powexecname Boop")
  2. I'm all for a little madness. Maybe it would be easier if you could define it with the command line: /macro "Boop" "color red$$font white$$powexecname Boop" ?
  3. Sounds good. So, with the example I gave of Judgement what you would miss out on is the cooldown indicators. Makes me wish we could do something like /macro "Pow!" "powexecname Whatever1$$powexecname Whatever2$$powexecname Whatever3$$cooldown 120" to be able to get that indicator, even if we're having to manually set it. Something like that could be handy on its own - /macro "Bio Break" "cooldown 1800" 🙂
  4. I've never tried this, but let's say you have 4 Judgement powers that you like to rotate between - could you create a macro that attempts to activate all 4 of them, and just whatever you have slotted would be the one activated? Or would the macro just do nothing at all?
  5. That went straight to my head, so I just ordered an ELEVEN gallon hat from Amazon. I don't enjoy Keyes or UGh so I don't currently run those, but never say never.
  6. Not saying this to you directly, but it did remind me of another point. Having successfully done a Master of Dilemma Diabolique with one leader does not necessarily mean the next leader will run it exactly the same way. As @Gerswin Jr said there does tend to evolve a common approach, but there are always variations on a theme. Even when you KNOW what you're supposed to do next, it's always best to follow along with chat and keep an eye on the map to see where everyone is.
  7. Why do they have to be RED dots?
  8. One thought is to research the trial in advance here in the forums and on the Wikis. For the Lambda trial you mentioned, you might enjoy this wiki page that has a visual guide. Note that is for a regular Lambda run, not a badge run - you'll want to know in advance what the run will entail. For a Speed Lambda run the leader often will skip the Training Facility altogether because you usually can't clear it faster than the 2 minutes you have to wait outside for Marauder to show up. Badge runs will probably have you just to go 1 side and then not use the temporary powers you gain. There are YouTube videos you can search for, as well, though they may not explain what is happening. Same with Twitch. Still, it can help to see it all in advance. In general, let the leader know you haven't run it before so they have the opportunity to provide some more info if needed. I ran some LAM badge runs over the weekend and one player told me that they've never been in a LAM at all, so I sent them some discreet tells as we went along and they did fine. Unfortunately, you may get a leader who doesn't give much instruction and all I can say is try a different leader. Beyond all that, give yourself some grace. The first step to becoming sorta good at something is sucking at it, and not really knowing what you are doing. Read chat, ask questions if needed, and be sure to let the leader know you're new to this whole incarnate thing.
  9. I feel like the last time I saw an admin announcement in the game it said the server was at 1500 and therefore no multi-boxing. It's possible it's all sort of interchangeable?
  10. I'd like to suggest we rename the "Suggestions & Feedback" forum to "Arguments"
  11. I came here to talk about the Magisterium trial, but I see now I am in the wrong place. Much like when 8 ladies asked me out, then I realized I was in the wrong restroom.
  12. No. And the devs don't have time.
  13. Since the GMs are VIPs, I think DMing them ASAP should definitely be on the QT.
  14. I'd like this. I'd also like the option to either log into the last zone I was in, or my base.
  15. And I know on at least one occassion I tried to snipe your name after you moved and hold it for ransom, unsuccessfully.
  16. And, btw, we oughta change it so the entire league just bumps based on the league leader, not the team leader, but I digress. One downside of the instanced MSR is that if you do disconnect, you need to use the LFG tab to rejoin. If I try to reinvite you I could lock you out of the event completely. So, just pass the word on that fun feature.
  17. Was asking because it looks like someone used it on Hami recently, causing it to go intangible. May not have been a troll - they may just not have realized it works like that now.
  18. Is it still doing that weird thing where if it misses, it makes the target intangible? Or did that get fixed recently?
  19. Ran it through ChatGPT for you:
  20. I would much rather have an instanced Hami option.
  21. I've always said you join an MSR for XP, not rewards. I think the conversion rate for vMerits to Reward Merits could be tweaked, but beyond that I'm kind of OK where it is.
  22. I'm a believer that you shouldn't NEED discord or other tools outside of COH to get these badges, so other leaders may have better success rates using those kind of tools. But, consider for a second what is required of a league leader going for Triple Threat. You're looking for a narrow window when: Chimera has just teleported, and you've allowed enough time for anyone he teleported from the other teams to return to their assigned AV Nega's shield is not up, which is not something indicated in the game only inferred by the rage bar status (or someone very good at reporting it) There's still time left on the clock for this phase All AVs are at 2% (or, gulp, 1%) so they are close enough to be taken down quickly If you can hit that window perfectly, you still have a decent chance of failing because after you give the kill order any of the 3 AVs can regen. Some have speculated that these regens are predictable, but I haven't found them to be. I've used timers and never found a consistent length of time between regen ticks. It appears to be like other things in the game, where the percentage chance of it firing goes up with time. Once you give the kill order and the first AV falls, you only have 5 seconds to put down the other 2. So, there's a fair bit of luck involved even if you do everything right. And then, even if you managed to do all that, you have to make sure not to kill Tyrant too fast in the final battle or it could bug out and no badge. I've said many times that Magisterium needs fixing and I hope we get an update for that soon.
  23. This quarter, of the 15 failures, 5 were due to "Itchy Trigger Finger", 7 were due to regen ticks after the kill order, and 3 were due to... basically me making a bad call.
