  1. I did a Twitch today and talked a lot about the different team 1 roles, so if it helps you can check the video here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2231195483 I think the video will roll off after 7 days or something like that.
  2. I'm famously anti-Discord, though we do have one primarily for the league leaders and regulars to coordinate who is running which raid on which day. In-game, everything is coordinated on the /team channel. The good news is that really, once you know your role, there's not a lot of communicating to be done. For instance, if you are assigned Hami Taunt, there's really just a couple of times you need to type on the /team channel: Confirming your role - for example "<- Hami Taunt" or "I got it" or "I'm on it like white on rice" or whatever During the phase where we hunt GMs, announcing when your herd is clear - for example "Clear" or "Go {next taunter in the rotation}" The trick is really that very first run when you are doing a role for the first time and may have questions. That's why I posted this to maybe answer some of those questions up front. There's other chatter that happens on the /team channel, as well, but it's not necessarily required for the raid to be successful. If you are curious I can try plugging you into that observer role for a raid so you can see how it goes down. I may even try doing a Twitch stream and save it, just for educational purposes.
  3. I'm taking the week off work, so the likelihood of a daily MSR at High Noon (Central time) and early Hami in Abyss (3pm Central time) went WAY up. BTW - been great to have some new people in the Team 1 Hami lately, and there will be a greater need for taunters and incanners in the early run as the week goes on. If that's something you want to help out with, be sure to read this thread and let me know in-game you are ready to go if needed.
  4. I don't support server consolidation right now, but shortguy did make me think - what if on the server select screen it had a live window under each server name showing LFG on that server? If you were flexible with moving characters around and you might see that something is forming you want to join and transfer a toon to that server. My luck it will be full before I complete the transfer.
  5. I'm all for adding to the incarnate stuff, but I don't want to create any more items I need to click, which I think is what you are suggesting. I think what I would prefer to see is something like each power getting bushed out more at the top level, possibly unlocking at certain vet levels. Just as an example (pardon the crude Microsoft Paint mockup): So, maybe the new item at the yellow arrow level unlocks at vet level 50, and the red at vet level 100 - whatever, pick a number. Maybe they require Transcendents rather than components because who wants to chase components at this stage in the game. As for what they do? No clue - maybe one of them carries a minor, scaling version of the power when you are exemped? Anyway, just a thought.
  6. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'd like to see us get rid of TOs (are those still around?) and DOs, and the simple act of adding a slot to a power will inherently boost the power a little. For example, if you 2 slot Fly but don't put any enhancements in it, you get a small boost in flight speed and endurance reduction to help offset the absence of TOs and DOs to fill it. That boost gets overridden when you put an enhancement in it.
  7. I'm not super interested in playing the game on my phone. However, it'd be cool if I could get tells, monitor LFG, etc. from a cell phone app. I don't have a clue what that would looks like, and I bet it'd be a PITA to create, but I think that'd be cool.
  8. Someone commented in a Hami run yesterday that you have it down to a science already. I was going to join your run yesterday but was at the tail end of an MSR and by the time I got out, you were gone. Hopefully I'll catch one of your runs soon.
  9. If nothing else, if I could send stacks of items (up to 10) in a single email, that would help A LOT.
  10. The whole thing shouldn't work anymore, as OP pointed out, "emailsendattachment" was removed with the Page released yesterday.
  11. This sort of idea gets kicked around in various forms a lot. It would be nice if a character could belong to multiple supergroups. It would also be nice if base storage had Coalition permissions - and I'd also like an "Everyone" permission level for base storage, while we're at it.
  12. Why is a costume contest on one server worthy of an everything, everywhere, all at once message, but a costume contest elsewhere is not? Is it just because of who is leading it?
  13. I've said before that I don't like it when a staff-led costume contest on another server gets to send out an admin message across all channels ahead of the event while I'm trying to form my MSR or Hami or DFB or whatever. It seems to imply that staff-led events are inherently better/more important/etc. than community-led events. This feels to me like a further step in that same direction. With all due appreciation to what staff do (seen and unseen), I would really rather see an "all or nothing" sort of calendar that places community-led and staff-led events on the same footing and gives them the same respect. I think if @Laucianna is running an all-Kheld MSR that deserves the same level of promotion as a costume contest on Indom. (No offense to 3 people playing on Indom.)
  14. Gratz! Have you decided which of Paragon's politicians you are going to buy first? (Also, new mini-pet idea)
  15. You obviously haven't heard Yoda's cover of Frank Sinatra's hit "My Way, I Did It"
  16. I feel your pain - every time I run a LAM and get stopped by a BOX it makes me wish those were destructible. Or when you get stuck in that one room with the weapon cache and can't get out rather than maybe just busting through a window. But, yeah, my guess is that if that were simple it would have happened a long time ago.
  17. OKIE HAMI RAIDS - In The Abyss on Saturdays and Sundays at 3pm Central, plus on random other days at this time if I am home for whatever reason. OKIE OVERFLOW HAMI RAIDS - In The Abyss 2 on Saturdays and Sundays (sometimes Fridays) at about 5pm Central if Abyss 1 fills up early for the regular raid that's been kicking off around 4:30pm Central. If Abyss 1 is not full before they start forming the league, I usually assume there's not enough interest that day for an overflow raid. OKIE MSRs - Trying to shoehorn in an instanced MSR at High Noon (central) on Saturdays and Sundays in RWZ. If I am free, I also try to run an instanced MSR following the evening Hami raid in The Hive around 9:30pm Central 1-2 times weekly. Okie MSRs always have at least a 100 million inf prize for getting the kill shot on the Drop Ship, so bring a jetpack if you are a non-flyer, and maybe clear out before the ship blows up if you're rich already. Everything else I run is not scheduled, though I do take requests.
  18. Cool, where'd you find that?
  19. To be honest, I always thought the calendar's days were numbered.
  20. I'm wondering if anyone has a creative way to make a portal look like a tornado? Obviously, in my Oklahoma themed base, that would be great. The best I can do so far is just a standard swirling portal. I tried turning it horizontal, thinking maybe I could add some SFX under it, but then the portal didn't seem to work at all. Thanks!

    MSR PopMenu

My first experiences leading were on Everlasting doing MSRs, and I still lead 2-3 MSRs per week on Excelsior. Your menu looks great. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!
  22. Rezzing this thread just to offer one more suggestion: much like how Marauder announces a few seconds before using Nova Fist in a LAM, so should the AVs here announce a few seconds before using regen. So, take your pick of solutions from these or others I haven't considered. Something needs to be fixed here. Again, I led 3 unsuccessful Triple Threat badge attempts in a row last night. The first failed because someone had an itchy trigger finger and took out an AV before I gave the kill order. But the other 2 were perfect runs where at least 1 AV regenned immediately after I gave the kill order - almost as though they were waiting for it. You really can't un-ring that bell once you've told everyone to go. Maybe on Discord you can, but Discord should not be required to get a badge in this game. I ran the numbers a while back, scouring all of my play logs for this year, and found I was sitting at about a 40% success rate on leading this badge (not accounting for the fact that I tolerate back to back failures, but don't attempt back to back successes). I don't mind failing the badge due to human error near as much as when we essentially lost a coin toss at the end. Now, I am told that devs sometimes look at this forum and chuckle because they secretly have a fix already in the works to come out in the next major update. I hope that's the case, though I have no visibility into the development plans to be able to know. If not, please consider this to be a "strong want" I (and pretty sure others) would like to see fixed.
  23. I don't run any of those on account of hating them with the white hot passion of a thousand suns.
  24. Not sure, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.
