  1. Yep. We had a good exchange utilizing Google Translate. 🙂 But, even with a language barrier, I would hope someone would understand "DO NOT USE [Pacification Grenade]!" I probably need to change that bind to "league DO NOT USE [Pacification Grenade]$$league NE PAS UTILISER [Grenade de Pacification]$$league NE UZU [Pacifigan Grenadon]$$league dunwI' DaSaHbe'chugh"
  2. You can do absolutely everything right in a Triple Threat run and still miss out because of the random regen tick. I don't think I've really seen someone intentionally cause us to fail. More often than not they just aren't reading chat, or they don't realize they have a damaging aura up. Had a LAM badge run fail the other day because, as it turns out, one of the participants doesn't speak English and had no clue what I was saying.
  3. Very helpful when people do that. As a leader, if you want, get their global before they leave (as @tidge suggested above) and then obsessively do /i @global or /li @global to reinvite them with whatever character they log back on with. You can hit enter, then the up arrow, to do that command a few times and maybe catch them before they have to send you a message at all. Also, if you are alting, I ain't waiting more than a couple minutes. Hurry it up, we're burnin' daylight.
  4. Talking to myself here again, but just sharing this also happens in MAG runs when other players pass their quills to me, so probably a uniform behavior for all temps like this at this point. For the character I lead LAM badge runs with, I ran /macro * "" several times to fill in all the open power slots in my trays so that these temps didn't fall into those.
  5. I've been fighting this too since the update. Also, I really need a /windowscale for every single window in the game at this point. I know there is a list of many of the window names, but not all of them.
  6. Yes, but only with one very select group of people where we coordinate the leading of Hami raids. Other than that, I hate Discord with the white hot passion of a thousand suns.
  7. Because I like biting off more than I can chew with my defender. Have it work like Envenomed Dagger where you can buy several charges.
  8. Honestly, I wish Dark Servant had some sense of personal space, but I guess it makes sense it doesn't. He's just all up in my grill.
  9. I've suggested before that we need an ignore command with a parameter that allows it to expire - /ignoretemp 24 Oklahoman - for use with people you just need a cooldown from. Like, people who have conversations in LFG, for instance. Or talk in theatres. Your suggestion could be used for something like that, too, so I shall enjoy the pie with you.
  10. In terms of using /search is there a reason not to include ALL zones in the map dropdown, regardless of your alignment?
  11. I am aware of how to determine my own level shift. Going with my suggestion would reduce - potentially eliminate - those folks showing up in Ouro after I advertised for 50+2's asking "What's my level shift?" Would also be a signal a relatively alert user if they accidentally unslotted a T3 or something.
  12. The level in the circle (upper right hand corner by default) should include level shifts, and have that update when zoning. Now you don't have to go into Powers -> Combat Attributes -> Base -> Level Shift.
  13. A common practice on LAM badge runs is to pass all the temps to the team or league leader, so people don't accidentally use them. In the past, the first Acid or Grenade I got would show up both in the temp tray and the first available spot in the power tray. Annoying, but no big deal. Now, that happens even when one of them is passed to me. Honestly, I don't need them in both spaces at all, but especially when all available power spots are filled in it really ups the chance for an OOPS!
  14. Sure, no problem.
  15. This is still a work in progress, but where's what I came up with so far in case anyone wants it or wants to give feedback: Also, I have this popmenu bound to my "C" key to do the terminals countdown: UPDATE: I realize I'm just talking to myself in this thread right now, but just in case anyone references this in the future here's what I have found works for me. RECRUITING You can get all of the badges for this in one run, but what I have found (so far) is that it's easier to focus on getting either Fair & Balanced or News Flash. So, I do 1 run for each of those badges. I run Fair & Balanced first because you might happen to get News Flash anyway. For Fair & Balanced, I initially put everyone into 4 teams - myself as the only one in Team 1 and everyone else in Teams 2-4. I then ask for 1 tank + 3-4 others with high DPS, single target attacks or mez. I move all of these volunteers over to Team 1 with me, and fill out the rest of Team 1 with players who can act as a backup for the outside team in the event this starts to go sideways. I ask for volunteers for this team, rather than assigning it, in the hopes they will be more committed to doing the work. The first time I assigned these tasks half the people didn't do their assigned job and we failed. With volunteers, we've been successful. Having them all on Team 1 lets there be a communication channel that's open just to them, without cluttering league chat. LEADING I have Incan slotted in Destiny for this trial. I try to make it into the room with HD first and then incan the league there. Others are faster than I am and sometimes get there first, which is fine. Despite asking people to heal HD, I have found I'm basically the one who needs to keep an eye on that. Often when you first get to HD you'll see some NPCs attacking it, so I focus on clearing them out and using heal for HD. I'm told that there was a change and there is not a big benefit now to activating all terminals at the same time. I haven't researched that, so for now I continue to do it the old fashioned way. My second popmenu above is used for the countdown so all the terminals get activated at the same time. I count down from 5 the first 2-3 rooms, but then once everyone has the hang of it I just countdown from 3. If you have it bound to a key like I do (in my case "c") you can hit c-l, then c-5, c-4, c-3, c-2, c-1 to do the countdown. I call for Lore Pets in the final battle with Maelstrom. Some people use them early so you may want to say something about that at the start if it matters to you. RESOURCES I found this old thread to be helpful in getting familiar with leading the trial. I was especially confused where which building was, and where to go once inside. The maps there helped a lot. Hopefully all of that helps someone on down the road. YET ANOTHER UPDATE: This is important! I am told the required theme music for this trial can be found here:

    MoTPN popmenu

Does anyone have - and would be willing to share - a popmenu for Master of TPN? My search-fu on this topic is not strong.
  17. I understand your time is limited. If you can make it to a Hami raid you can make 160 reward merits in about 15-20 minutes for 3 runs. You can use those to buy 480 enhancement converters which right now can easily sell for 60,000 inf each on /ah. That's going to be very similar to the return you are seeing from fire farming, likely with much less time and effort. On Excelsior, the 5pm Central daily raid in The Abyss tends to squeeze in 5-6 runs because @Laucianna does however many she can within a 30 minute window. Couple that with the nightly 9pm Central raids in The Hive (which I believe normally does 3 runs) you could be earning 400 reward merits daily. On the weekends, as much as I can, I do an early 3pm Central raid in the Abyss and we always do 3-4 runs. If I run the Sunday 5pm Central run, I tend to start when the zone fills (which can be 15-30 minutes early) and we go until 15 or 30 minutes after the hour (which can be 6 or more runs). Potentially, Sunday Hamis could net you 560 reward merits, or more if you bring in new characters each run or hop between servers. The downside to Hamis (at least on Excelsior) is you need to be in zone well before the advertised start time as the zone will fill up. That's a lot of downtime unless you have a second account you can log into and play elsewhere until the raid starts. If not, it's also an excellent time to share dad jokes in broadcast. 🙂
  18. I'll just speak to this one. If you need incarnate components and prefer to solo, check my signature for a guide to running the Heather Townshend arc in Dark Astoria. You can get an incarnate component roll every 15 minutes (probably less). If you prefer teaming, I really think a Speed Lambda iTrial is the way to go. Each run is about 12 minutes long with an incarnate salvage roll at the end, so if you get a group that sticks together it's really easy to run several in a row because you don't have the downtime in recruiting. It's also a very easy trial to lead, so you don't have to wait for others to run it. Honestly, I run it sometimes on my secret secondary account without giving any instructions - people just know what to do.
  19. Dang, I missed that. Much like when I drive, all the accidents seem to happen BEHIND me.
  20. And, you know, here in the very forums we currently peruse.
  21. I may have fixed it, but I'm going to leave this here in case it helps someone else. The "Game Capture" source was causing the game to crash, but if I use the "DIsplay Capture" source instead it seems to be working fine. UPDATE: Turns out that "Window Capture" is supposedly better than "Display Capture."
  22. The game freezes if I try to switch scenes in OBS while streaming. Any suggestions?
