  1. I didn't read the entire thread, so apologies if this was addressed already. The best way to get Gearsmasher solo is to go to Echo: Faultline and defeat Clockwork Bosses and then their gears.
  2. Why is Katana in the running? I find Katana to be weak for Scrappers and Stalkers, so curious if I am doing something wrong.

  7. I remember seeing a post at one point where you could create a macro for hasten tagged to the W key, so whenever you were using W to move it would presumably click hasten if it was available. Can anyone provide this macro?

  9. Thank you! I'm probably doing a Psi/BS Tanker next. Any chance you can share that build? I have never gotten a Tanker past about level 10, so have no experience with them.

  11. I've been playing a Broad Sword / Psionic Armor character and was hoping for some feedback. I went Broad Sword for Parry, so I could have soft-cap melee defense with one application of Parry and RoP for capped resists for S/L/F/C. Psionic is capped without RoP. I'm currently 47 and have not used RoP yet. I'm not really clear how to slot the following: Devour Psyche: I can't tell how well this is working. Aura of Insanity: I am planning 2 Lvl 53 Endoplasm Memento Mori. I am planning 1 Lvl 53 Endoplasm and 1 lvl 55 Health IO. I have not really used Memento Mori at this point. I used it a bunch with my Stalker, which is why I decided to go BS for my Scrapper. I have Psychokinetic Barrier on Auto-click, which seems to be working well. Anyway, feedback is welcome. Here is a build picture:
  12. Is that a Tanker build and are you willing to share it? This thread has piqued my interest in Regeneration and I'm trying to decide what character to make. I was considering a BS/Reg stalker or an AR/Reg Sentinel.
  13. Thanks for all the responses. I didn't realize the disconnect time was so complex, but the explanations make sense. I love the fact that I have played this game since launch (except the down time between shut down and HC) and I still learn something new each week.
  14. I would like to see options to reduce the speed of SS. I use SS mainly for the concealment portion and for traveling. In maps like caves SS is annoying. I would love an option to reduce my speed in caves.
  15. So, when I log off a character to switch characters I see different disconnect times in seconds. I've seen 19, 14, 4, and 0 (might be others I suppose). I understand when you are in some safe zones it is 0 (Oro or Base), but it is not clear to me about the rules for the others. I was in the Hive and logged off in the secure area near the vendor inside the protected area and it was still 19 seconds. What are the rules for the disconnect times? Curious minds want to know...
  16. Haven't seen anyone call out Smoke and Mirrors. Depending on character this can be run between 6 to 8 minutes for 12 merits and between lvl 25 and 32 the XP is very good as well for leveling.
  17. Kudos and thank you @The Trouble! I always enjoy reading posts that try to shed light on the math, since I am horrible at it. I usually put that ATO in the 1st or 2nd power selected because I never knew how it worked, so put it in the lower damage powers. At least now I can come back to this thread for some info for new builds. Now to figure out a way to bookmark this thread...
  18. This build is AR/NT and soft-caps Range and S/L, so I run a lot of toggles. The issue with End is not to bad unless I get in a sustained combat. I decided to try 2 lvl 50+5 Heal IOs and Synapse Shok End + 5 and Synapse Shock End/Increased Speed. I don't have SS or the concealment run power, so thought I would try it out. It is interesting to see how many different ways people are slotting this power and their reasoning. I'm also 5 slotting Health on this build with 5 procs, so there is that. According to Mids my Regen is 606%.

  20. I'm now planning to slot as follows: I had the Numina and Panacea procs in health but moved them here for the set bonuses. I thought both were Global so should not matter if they are in a click. Is that not accurate?

I'm currently planning to slot Kuji-In Toh with: 2 - Lvl 53 Amyloplast HOs - These seem very hard to get currently, so will have to get over time. 2 - End Mod + 5 Is there a better slotting for this power from a price & slot perspective? My goal is to use the fewest slots for the most impact. I can potentially go to 5 slots if needed, but would prefer 3 or 4. Does the Performance Shifter + End proc work in this power and how well would it work compared to Stamina? I'm actually wondering if I need to slot for Recharge since the duration lasts longer than the recharge.
  22. I often take CJ late, because while it is nice there are often other priorities.
  23. I have a BS/EA and I do have Parry. Parry is great during the leveling process especially if you plan to tackle TFs solo. At 50 it may not be as good because your defense can be relatively high, but in my build it helps soft-cap my melee defense and I have a set which provides bonuses I want.
  24. Some good points here especially with regards to Ninjitsu having fewer must take powers. I'm playing a StJ/Ninitsu now (only L13), but my build has me skipping Caltrops and Smoke Flash. I'm actually planning to take Placate on this guy because I have extra powers available. Ninjitsu does have the KB hole you need to solve, but it is an easy fix.
  25. Sorry, I had to jump in after seeing this "never going to be tough comment" despite this thread being old. Stalkers can be very tough with many being able to soft-cap defenses and get 50+% resist to S/L.
