It's how most games go. Same with TV, same with anything you love. People immerse themselves in the goodness for a long time. How long depends on various factors - if it's a TV series, as an example, they can be dedicated to it for the first four seasons but if season five delivers a steaming turd, no matter how good six and seven are it won't bring 'em back Sometimes you do what you do, then you did it and mission accomplished. You played that to your personal conclusion and away you go. Kinda like wives.

I'm curious. I see a lot of posts saying X is fantastic, Y is crap compared to Z(ed) etc. There are a billion and one opinions out there and I'm never quite sure that the data backs up those opinions. (Wait for it... it's coming) But there are some sets that are a shed tonne of fun to play even if they don't necessarily perform numerically as well as some other set (which may actually be quite boring to play.) So with that preamble over, what sets do you think are excellent to play but don't necessarily get the love they deserve. Maybe their performance value is low, they don't fit your play style, you dislike them because you hate a certain type of AT but maybe you love it and wish it would just do one thing a tiny bit better? Yes, it's an open question: Go to it!

Ah ha! Thankyou - 👍 I'd gotten some kind of mod that I can't remember exactly what, so I deleted the path to that, verified the files and it seems to be fine now. I'm running a GTX1660 so never had gfx issues previously.

It' s all variants of these powers, not just ones my own character casts but any. No other powers are affected so far as I have noticed. But they look extremely strange often like weird handles. Graphics settings don't seem to have an effect, I've tried various different ones and even when graphics settings are at default level.

I built this one a few weeks back and cruised easily to 50, then respecced it and did the incarnate stuff, while working on a build that would eventually get IO'd out with appropriate sets. But frankly since then it's become uber squishy. It fails to function at any level and faceplants if somebody says "boo" too loudly. It did work well and I had enjoyed it on the journey but it seems to suffer serious performance issues now. I have worked on a few builds in Mids and all seem pretty similar but when it comes to the nitty gritty we're at an impasse. I tried to post a build here but it's not playing nice so I guess I am asking what should I look for on this build and if anyone cares to offer their own design I'd welcome looking at it.

So getting back on track I've been cogitating about my next project. I'm leaning heavily to a Dark/Cold troller but I'm open to other options too. Probably not a Def or Crupper - I've been playing a few of those and I have squissues with their durability. Maybe an MM but as stated eaarlier I already have a Demons/Cold that I don't want to recreate. What're your best suggestions, but most importantly why?
