Invulnerability is still king of tough guy mountain. Look for a Hyperstrike build. The sets are largely the same on Homecoming as they were on live. Energy Melee got a much needed un nerf but I understand it is still middle of the road AoE. An improvement from almost zero. Great ST as always. SS is great if you can stand the Rage crash. I play Dark Dark and use all the Dark magic to fill the no defense hole (stealth, stun, fear, to hit debuffs). There are some new sets like Rad and a couple others that are nice. Stone just got a much needed rework. Concept is KING. If you like the IDEA of your hero/villain and it turns out it is an A or B ranked set instead of a S ranked set… you will love playing it. If the concept bores you fast then it could be the emperor of badass mountain and you will not play it.

Inv SS. Hard hitting atracks at low level. + to hit once you get Rage. Invul is a beast start to finush

You will see these as the last filler piece in high end builds When everois done, nothing else is good to place and there are two powers nothing can go in that have that one slot

You already have them all saved in MiDs. Just sayin’…

The regulars are okay until you have merits to buy boosters. (5 merits for each zone you get all 8 location badges in…). Remember to flip them all at once. The set bonuses are based on what version. They do not mix. Defiant Barrage should be in a power you spam. That is the nature of the PROC in it. I am not good at PROCs. I assume the extra damage is better than the random bonuses (without picking it apart) because they almost always are. Some very few attacks are immune from ALL damage changes. The P2W veteran attacks like Blackwand and Nemesis Staff. Not sure if they build Fury. But since they are immune to damage changes they are usable doing SS Rage crash at normal attack valie. Cheesy but useful

What “mob” is dead except for a few stragglers? When you are soloing at *1/x1” or when you are running a Team Ms Liberty Master badge run? Because with the limited target dps of a Sentinel I honestly do not see how you keep making this “Sentinels our DPS Blasters” reference Also, the way i run Trapdoor it is pretty much a ST fight. Why is it an AoE burst fight for you???

Enhancements in CoH can be very simple. Or incredibly complex. Your pick. I am currently leveling an AR/Dev. This weekend I finished 15-19 content red, and leveled him to 24. Now I made it very complex. Because his DFB buffs ended at 22. So starting level 20 I did 4 DiB to renew the buffs to 30. Now that trial tops at 20. So as I gained levels (i hit 24 in the last) i tuned my enhancement layout so when i exemplared to 20 my damage was not nerfed below 90% enhancement on any attack. Then i ran a Synapse and a Tarikoss (both top at 20). THEN I rebuilt the toon for level 24 content. I have stopped experience and will do all Red 20-24 content now. But I would not lose a terrible lot if I ignored all that, including getting the DiB buffs. And just slotted SO stuff from the vendors. Because over tuning is just that. Over what is needed

A Blaster without Aim/BU going out damages a Sentinel. What uptime problem do you think Blasters are encountering exactly? I have a few, built for various tasks. A Sentinel might be “safer” depending on player playstyle (mine rarely die) but I seriously cannot understand making damage comparisons between the two. Like playing darts versus a blind opponent and insisting it be judged?
