on blueside certain contacts give missions across multiple ranges. I am getting every story arc, but I know I just missed 3 marvin weintraub random missions that are 25-28. just irritating really. i knew a run like this could never be "perfect" but it is damned annoying. not letting that stop me. i levelled to 34. if the damn blue contacts want to be that freaky i will miss a couple missions there too.

Update! Just finished all content through level 29. 1,039 Badges. 49,512 enemies defeated. 1,051 missions done. this is a reduction from my previous post, so i either had a typo, or something else weird happened... Reward Merits = 2,492 The next section is all 30-34 content and all (including any First & Night Wards that cannot be completed at 40) I did miss a couple missions on a Blue contact that offered odd side missions at 26 and 28. Blue is weird. I am sad about that. But I am sad about many things. I trudge on up the mountain of ridiculousness!

they edited their patch notes from something incomprehensible to "we removed previous aoe buffs" which is appreciated. thankfully no one had a meltdown over it...

I have to leave this thread now. Or it will become like another thread i hated. So, i will read, react, but not post. I encourage everyone to read the actual Dev post. No where did i see them say they are removing the previous Tank AoE buffs. They did state they are increasing two types of Tank AoE. The Devs said that. Not Snarky. More AoE is good, it is a benefit. Sigh. Out. GL

Yes. As in not stating anything like what you just said. I will not apologize for being an angry raving lunatic. Cause, I just got to be me. Yet…. In this case I am going off what was put in the patch notes. AND based on THIS Dev team’s previous work(s) to put Tanks as the only melee class needed…. When someone tells you they are buffing something (and that is very clear in the patch notes) then believe them. They said nothing about “walking back” any previous buffs. So…. People in this thread are saying that. That and a 25 mill donation to @Snarky will get you a thank you email. With all the gratitude i can muster depending on the vagaries of my mood.

i did not see where it said the previous buff to AoE is removed. i posted the full explanation above. granted, i have no idea what "Removed arc/radius buff restrictions from powers." means. but "removing a restriction" to me does not equate to "rolling back AoE buff we already gave Tanks..."

Yes. Yes I can. First, (AND SINCE YOU STILL HAVE NOT ACKNOWLEDGED IT), Tankers are getting EXTRA AoE on all AoE attacks. Second, (and I am not going to run 10,000 AE runs to prove this, so put on that thinking cap...) The number of times a Tanker will exceed the increased target cap of 10+ and 5+ respectively (even with the new increase in AoE) is rare. In effect, it is a big smoke and light show about reducing something that is almost never used... edit, and the increased AoE loads the dice so they more often get to the 10 or 5. so, more damage

lol Tankers Self damage buff lowered from 1.0x to 0.875x. -Res modifiers lowered to match other melee ATs. OverCap mechanic implemented In powers that had their target cap increased from 10 to 16, each target above 10 will take 25% less damage than the previous target In powers that had their target cap increased from 5 to 10, each target above 5 will take 44% less damage than the previous target Removed arc/radius buff restrictions from powers. Increased the radius and range of all tanker Primary and Secondary Cones by 50% Cones no longer have their arc boosted Increased the radius of all tanker Primary and Secondary Sphere AoEs by 50% The increase wont push radius above 15ft minor reductions for Tanker and a FISTFULL of christmas presents. I can guarantee you two things 1) in any saturated enemy environment that Tanker would do more DPS 2) Brutes would kill for the changes Tanks have received, including this one.

Started with Brutes. Loved Brutes. played Brutes through the nerfs. They are buffing Tanks. Again. Look, I can play a Sentinel and tell myself I bring as much to the team as Blasters do. Similarly, I can play a Brute and say it is just as good as a Tank. But I will not. I am shattering all my 50 Brutes for parts. Done with the AT

since that is what it says we give you a pass on reading comprehension and/or cut/paste skills... but how does this actually WORK. if anyone says drawn to you and /or phased i swear i will start depositing my corpses in your yard.... does this just pull minions/Lts and leave bosses/EBs standing there, phased, and screwing the team out of the same amount of time as it would have originally? does this affect bosses EBs, and only AVs are phased, (but then will not be because of 12xreasons) HOW does this WORK?

No. I am too selfish to run this game for free. You need to step back and look at the big picture. Just saying I respect the flim flam job. It is nicely done. As evidenced by the people already stating Tanks are being nerfed. F-ing priceless. -

Yeah, the Nerf Tanks just got (along with buckets of upgrades) is indeed the perfect foil to argue with Thank you, for intentionally (or unintentionally) showing how ignorant people can be fooled by a simple con. And the bumper sticker response to any analysis of the situation. Remember, if you scream it loud enough and get enough people to go along then facts are unimportant. -

It is a sweet con. It is tougher to fool a redsider. We assume everyone has an angle. This is why i cannot communicate with people that complain about redside arcs, because they feel used instead of like a “supervillain”. I am like, “bitch, everyone redside is running a game” this is just a wonderful bit of bait and switch. Truly inspiring. Of course i will never play another Brute on HC. In fact, when i get some free time i will start stripping the Brute 50s i have fir parts and stuff to sell. -

does not matter. in the issue after the one that is just dropping they are boosting range on everything a Tanker has, turning ST into chance to cleave multiple foes, and upgrading the armors. because, it is good to be the king.... -
