Unheated. the dev likes the “feel” of knockback killspeed should be looked at… somewhere else if they “fix” knockback anyone who uses knockback will be unloved. 1) knockback is cool 2) we are murder hobos. i agree, although at this point we are dogs begging for scraps. anything, just drop anything from the table up there!

energy blast is so pretty. and, besides (like everyone) doing less damage than Fire, pays a 1 slot penalty on every power... so does less DPS than any other Blast set in game.

i struggle wuth this a lot across various powersets and ATs. "Dark" and "black" are not consistent. some turn the area around your character inky splorch, while others do shades of grey. many "Dark" powers are actually colored with blues and purples. not to mention most "orig" power colors are 3-4 color mixes, then when you option to bright or dark you get 2.

decades for this guy to find the "secret" next week hundreds have "discovered" it too...

In higher level content this exists. Adding it to low level PuGs is trolling imo. As it is “The Really Hard Way” badge is nigh unattainable due to “mechanics”. It is easy if the league does very specific things. But that requires teamwork, knowledge, leadership, and the ability to follow instructions…. Cosmic Council used to do it once a week, the boss fight taking under 5 min and 99% successful

Yes, the DPS increase is quite disingenuous in my opinion. Having to place KB->KD slots is a DPS penalty. Energy Blasters are a great example. Asking for a way out of that is POWERGAMING!!!!!!!

I did a “tank mage” invul/kinetic melee tank. It did indeed fight from short “range” quite a lot. It….was not my most exciting run. Adding in ranged pool attacks would make this more “ranged” but also stretch a Brute build into even more contorted caricature of itself. It CAN be done. I have a friend who runs “toggle man” taking only powers that are toggles. Obviously they do not inflict this strangeness on unknowing PUGs. It performs…like a toon using only toggles.

I would suggest Null have a on/off for Knockback. Global to character. 1) default. Powers act as normal 2) knockback to knockdown. ALL powers act as if they have a KB->KD in them 3) bonus option. All powers do knockback. Muah hah hah

Synapse is a dice roll. People do not have slots to invest in things like KB->KD and are experimenting with new powers. Makes it hilarious. Be patient and relax into the madness

this soloes well, but it is all about tactics (depending on missions/settings) at +0/x1 any Blaster should run great. the trick to utilize this "F U from over here" build is to really hit hard first. The nuke is great for that. using bonfire and fracture to control any ambushes. then knocking down the most dangerous enemies in the spawns with ST until the nuke pops back up.

i would never give up that hard hitting nuke. it is a case of "dont just spam it" you have to know it is needed and 90% likely not to be wasted. here is my oddball take on it. leveraging even more range for safety... Blaster Seismic Earth 2024 v1.02.mbd

many farmers easily achieve this. netting vet levels per hour. Goddess Lauciana is a major event leader on Excelsior. the character is loved and played. a lot! if you play the toon vet levels come easily.
