I built my Dark Dark Brute with a lot of resistances (including energy) and dealt with endurance. Old school, so Dark Regeneration. Best heal in the game. It us truly rare someone presses that Brute. When they do… full heal. He has tanked MoMLTF twice and tanked Rom no issues. He does occasionally die, and the Dark Rez is a beautiful thing.

I always thought Dark Armor was best on Brutes. As a resistance Armor set Dark Armor gets mileage out of Brute’s 90% max res values. So that makes it, to me, a more natural fit than Scrappers. Dark Armor has a non suppressing combat stealth. With this you can destroy 17 Longbow in a spawn. The next spawn over just ignores you. This is a powerful tool that lets you pace the fight to your plan. It is also counterproductive for managing agro for a team. I have deep thoughts on the other two cloaks, fear and stun, as well. But it is long past time telling people who have no interest how important they are. Brutes are just fun too.

It is quite good to be back to jumping onto various teams and charging madly into content. The last 6 months of soloing story arcs had gotten quite grindy. PUGs…. Heh. They are a box of chocolates 🍫 Today I was about to log when i saw a MoLRSF starting. I joined. It took a while to get 8. And the team CRUSHED it. So slick we just did a MoMLTF to follow up. Another walk in the park. I think we would have done a MoLGTF except real life was 📞 calling a few of us out of the city.

Actually mostly on a Dark Dark Corruptor. Probably will be for another 6 months to a year. Then, depending on mood, I might go Ice/Dark Corruptor. With a GoT White Walker inspired concept. But I will pull from other genres as well. I think Ice Dark Corr is the natural evolution to my playstyle. Fully Ranged, tons of evil mechanics, great damage. But those are dreams for late 2025 probably… I am on the Fire^3 Blaster with Justice Superteamers Friday night. We 5 person a KHTF last night, four Fire Blasters on team. The first mission was so easy lol

Starting to run 50 content on PUGs again, after 6 months doing solo contacts. I have been on 3? 4/8 kill most ITFs. I seem to be the only one killing Surgeons. So… are you all. (Insert random Snarky tm pat pend comment here)… or what?

You sidekick to a 50 for hunts. Either find a friendly player, or if you have an alt acct log it on.

Agreed. I hate WoW and everyone gets to stand and be “Speaker for the Horde..”. Really? Cause you just said that to the Troll standing here a second ago I do like the Incarnate Lore in game. We are all seeking pieces of the path the Well laid out. So it makes sense there are hundreds l, thousands of us. The ones with more direct contact with the Well are explained in the Lore and are the big names. That feels right, even if the writing is not perfect

you could write encylopedias and mathematical treatises on the effectiveness of the cloaks. they do not want them and will keep asking "need this?"

i have both mission TP on all toons... the cooldowns... i would take TP pool if it offered that power

no. i used to use it a lot. still do on a few robot themes. it is an old ghetto "afterburner" but you have to get the right angle or you go up up up lol

I know fly is weird. It has a max speed cap. What is that max speed? How does the Afterburner interact with that limit? Does it take you to max? Exceed max? Is there an efficient way to increase flight speed for oeople using mystic flight? (There are a lot of 2 oiece set bonuses offering +movement speed…)

Yeah redside you have to do one of the Mercy contacts in Ouro. Oh, btw, Kill NO ONE when doing a complete run. Dont even smack talk them (i had one attack me and had to kill them…). Any option to spare them, distasteful as it is, spare them. One of the contacts in Mercy is needed to complete a second contacts arc. If you kill them…

You cannot run out of missions. Unless you refuse contacts/storylines/missions for reasons X

There does not need to be a complicated system. Donate what you have in excess to @Snarky and I will distribute it across the players and economy. Thanks for making a place Heroes can be heroic!

I am all for this. SomePurple sets (like Absolute Amazement) could use a pure Accuracy enhancer. (I slap it in a low accuracy aoe)

Use P2W powers. Travel powers, Teleports, jet packs etc. Use of pet summons from P2W is great in low level kill alls. If you are badging now is a great time to turn off receiving any recipes that are not very rare. I did and was able to reject 1000 recipes by 44. Now at 560 every recipe I get is bank.

as you pointed out, you are sure i play dark poorly. therefore i still need it, since i play it very terribly. as per your logic, that is who needs it. i need it, i want it, i use it. oh, and i have it.

You are misunderstanding what I am saying. And it looks like it is intentional. I LIKE the to hit debuff proc. I know that you do not. Again, here is what my normal attack chain is. I use a Fear cone at range. This has fear, and a to hit debuff cone. Then I toss Dark Pit, which is a targeted AoE stun. In Dark Pit I have 5 Absolute Amazement, including the proc. And an Accuracy. The to hit debuff proc will stack with the Fear Cone’s to hit debuff. This makes me safer VERSUS TRASH MOBS. If there is an EB or AV I will now use a targeted AoE debuff to hit/damage toggle on them. If not i slide into melee and finish my nuke attack chain; Tar Patch, Spirit Drain, Blackstar. Then joust out drop another fear cone, and usually start a cone attack chain. But maybe a ST attack chain. I posted that not for you. Almost certain you do not care. But to be clear that is why I like the to hit debuff PROC in Absolute Amazement. I have run Dark Armor Melee on Brutes, Tanks, and a Stalker. The low mag fear and stun auras are not for EBs and AVs. They are to deal with a wall of trash mobs. The to hit debuffs help against those as well. (I almost always run Dark/Dark Melee). Asking me again and again how stuns and to hit debuffs work against high level mobs will not get you much beyond this encyclopedia entry. I do not care if you understand it. Likewise I do not think an immob PROC will be very good against an AV or EB so not sure why you are hammering that question. The strategy with Dark is subtle, and most do not fathom it. It is okay. I hooe you find something you do like and understand. Also, none of these suggestions get implemented. So this is really a ton of navel gazing. But I was bored.
