Super Reflexes, a defense set, will synergize well with Dark Melee’s secondary effect. To hit debuff. And the conbat heal/attack is a great power. I have tun a lot of Dark Dark Melee which is a totally different animal. good luck

i always have what people would consider "halloween" decorations up. but mostly the off the wall stuff (a wreath of eyeballs!) and classic art "momemto mori" type items. {skull, roses, etc) working on getting a tesla coil set up...

the fall did not kill you. it was the impact with the ground.

Wind Control. Will we ever see this powerset?

Wind Dom... The Spleen! -
i heard a rumor that this set will be tweaked in the future. with a slight benefit. they are not nerfing regen? hard to believe. it is a rumor. i think it will benefit tanks most (which is the best AT if you stick yourself with regen anyways) ymmv

it is level 45+, the league leader should be set to +4/x8 to trigger the most value from the "hidden" "level less' spawns. it also helps if everyone is wearing some green.
-
It is only the league leader in the mapserver event that must be set to +4/x8. That is why you are confused the enemies look "level less" but they have a hidden level.

yes. yes it was. did nothing for my badge count. good riddance.

Scaling Resist Damage; how does it actually work?
Snarky replied to Scarlet Shocker's topic in General Discussion
here is the "joke build" i mentioned. but i built it very seriously to address my perception of Sentinel's drawbacks. it is an Elec Blaster, that does more damage than a Sentinel (not nearly as much as my other Blasters, especially Fire) but is extremely survivable. due to built in defenses and get out of jail free powers. it does in fact use Scaling Damage Resistance... I main a Dark Dark Corr. Which is a totally different animal. Force Field was one of THE great ones in the OG. Think Barriers in Incarnate content. But this services the TEAM more than the SELF. Almost all Dark secondary Corr is at least partially self serving or just enemy debuffs. Force Fields is a team support set. I have ran a Beam Blaster. I still have one built up and ran it a lot in Incarnate content. The pure range allows DPS to continue nonstop even with massive AoE and huge damage patches. I built for range. It is entirely ranged including the nuke. Of course, Corruptors get stronger as the enemy falls below 50% health. But the idea is the same. Stay back, keep shooting. Adding knockdown and immob thru sets (winter, over force, anyplace else?) can help to keep enemies “out there” and unable to do as much to you. If you did not want to be a “team buffer” Force Fields may not work for you. Also, after 50 they are not as necessary or useful due to incarnate powers like barrier. Likewise, if palinking from range was not your goal Beam may not suit you. UNLESS, like me, you are a slave to concept. Dark Dark Corr is not my “optimal” CoH/V choice. But it fits my concept so well I MUST run it as my main. And just get good on it. Accept what it can do, what it cannot, and get out there and be Corrupt!

Scaling Resist Damage; how does it actually work?

Okay. Getting real here. 🥸. But seriously, on a Blaster this is probably NOT worth the slot. Even on a defense armor melee it is a questionable choice. DEFINITELY get the global + defense piece(s). But resistance building on a Blaster is straying far from the “win the fight by killing fast” and venturing into investment in “survive long enough to wear them down”. My two cents. I do have an Elec Elec Blaster built with extremely high ranged defense, good all around defense, and resistance (and some pool resist powers🤪). But it is just a joke build. My Fire Fire Fire Blaster is so much more effective and just built for DPS. Of course it has a great rez 😎 -

Most commonly used salvage for crafting? Help a hoarder out!
Snarky replied to BassAckwards's topic in General Discussion
The market (in CoH) is a fairly well maintained non fluctuating place. Even at “buy it now” prices. A thousand ways to make Inf in game and an endless source of supplies to purchase at the tips of your fingertips… but, having fun is the most important thing. So, have fun! -

Most commonly used salvage for crafting? Help a hoarder out!
Snarky replied to BassAckwards's topic in General Discussion
Now you got me thinking. Tough to do, grats! I never use the base empowerment stations. But…. Mybdark dark Corr is always end hungry. Surely some of those buffs can help, or at least protect my blue bar from drains sometimes. -
No badges and no need for 50s that way so me… es ist egal. (German for does not matter)

Most commonly used salvage for crafting? Help a hoarder out!
Snarky replied to BassAckwards's topic in General Discussion
Do not hoard ANY salvage. Put it on the market. Buy it from the market. I have a base (artwork) that I rarely use and so have stored hundreds of rare salvage there. A pain to get to because there are no easy ways to bulk transfer salvage when i need it. My main base stores enhancers, with 1 inspiration storage and one salvage rack for dumping converters and other special salvage when i want to transfer between toons. Now that i think about it i am going to clear that base out in the next couple days and dump it all on the market. Taking my own advice…. -
I never overmath the CoH game. This despite some studies I have done through multi variable calculus. Which, for me, was extremely difficult. I enjoyed normal calculus and it’s simple beauty. Every toon and every player is different. I tend to run high accuracy builds with kismet+to hit and leadership accuracy or equivalent. So a small yellow might help me. But…. More than likely if you are screwed into needing accuracy your entire strategy in the fight has gone toilet mode. As a Dark Dark player, approaching a tough fight the first things i will do is debuff as much accuracy on my enemies as possible. I call this “making them fight uphill”. If they have done that to you…. Oof. In the end I agree with everything you have said. For me, it is by “feel” and common sense. The damn duals cannot be combined, so they “clog” your tray waiting for the “perfect” time to use them. Not using inspirations is like hording powers… so much that if you are not using them, or using them much less to “save” them, you might as well have picked a power you would use. Team inspiration are gold, in that you can use them as individual when needed (only carry them if you are willing to burn them) or they can prop up a team to keep pushing forward. regular inspirations are great in that they are flexible with the combination strategy, especially with a large tray. Creating a purple, wakie, or break free can really change things. but Duals? Neat idea that is garbage in a CoH/V actual fight/TF/SF/Trial. in my opinion…

i want that pritty design though lol

this would be decorative, useful, and provide no significant advantage to anyone. they are by far one of the nicest "doors" in CoH/V and fit nicely with most base themes.
