I prefer Willpower on Sentinel, but honestly have always avoided Regen (I keep hearing they are going to nerf it...) I have run a few Willpower Sents. On a Beam Rifle/Will Sent it was insanely fun run. Until 50, then you realize you are doing meh team help. I can run a Brute and "pretend" I am helping. Sometimes I even rescue a teammate who is not where they are supposed to be. (Which I can do on a good Blaster 75% time...) But after running "real" Blasters and Corruptors it is hard to sit on a Sentinel and sandpaper away at enemies.

Except for the “miracle cure” audience pleasing ending it is a perfect vampire movie. There are very few perfect vampire movies. If you turn off the last two minutes this might be it

I use Hyperstrike's Invulnerability guides to slot that defense/armor set. Aside from shopping for the components it just does not get any easier. If you have not looked at Hyperstrikes work I highly recommend it. I would place a Hyperstrike Invul Brute as more survivable than anyone else's Tank except a Hyperstrike Invul Tank.

I can offer you a very non clicky defense set that works much better than Regen, and is easier to slot (and use) Invulnerability. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

I tend to run villain compatible. heh. Exactly what was this "Holy Trinity" on Red...or, erm, unholy Trinity? that the game designers (according to OP) created this game around. Or is the argument by issue 2 all the "other gamers" ruined it and so the Devs cowered in fear and changed everything before redside?

I have always been mystified why some powersets have such oddball “boost” or “ buff” powers when most of the rest of that AT get the exact same one. Which is better 90% time. Some sets have fans, but mostly it is “okay, who wants to date Lurch?”

I ran a Inv/Kin Tank for a while at 50 because I wanted the meme "Tank Mage" The big arm motions and half the attacks happening at range (short, but still) really achieved this effect. If you are into Tai Chi Wizardy look Kin is your set. If you want to drop a boss you might want EnMel

On live i ran a lot of SO builds. Back then i could only afford 2-3 really built toons at one time. To create another purpled and pimped toon required crushing an existing one and stripping Now I start I/Os at around 25-30. Some globals before that. My build priorities are almost always damage first. I tend to not use damage proc much unless it is in a set i was using. My secondary goals usually revolve around recharge, accuracy, and either defensive or resistance stuff. Also keeping endurance and health properly set up

You have slightly overdone it lol. UNLESS you are running a lot of +4 content, level 50 Master TFs, and Incarnate badge runs. Then that amount is "healthy"

Dark Melee Fire Armor Brutes are one of the meanest things out there in my opinion. They are squishy, but if I/Od and played smart they are meaner than a wet cat.
