Have fun! Run correctly it is one of the most powerful armor srets in the game. (in my opinion) DO make sure your build includes some +to Hit and +accuracy. +to hit is way better. The Stun aura has a crap base accuracy and you want it cleaning minions off.

Officially Unofficial Weekly Discussion #38: Speed Runs
Snarky replied to SeraphimKensai's topic in General Discussion
When I think of "speed runs" I think of the Cosmic Council players and people like them. They had a few records for speed runs on verified sites. I am not a speed runner. I dont even know who tracks that. Cosmic would do regular events where they would This vs That (Doms vs Scrappers etc) Speed Run the ITF. This was always 15 minute or less and sometime around 10. I vaguely recall a few sub 10. Someone kept a spreadsheet and it was convoluted but always sppppppeeeeed. Most "speed" TF are actually not. Speed. They are "Fast" I like Fast TFs, especially when I am on a "get every TF badge as I level" OCD run. Although I got on a TF Junky Synapse that came in a hair over 30 mins. Which they laughed and said was Fast not Speed. Could have fooled me! Doing low level TFs there is (for me) no logic in doing them anything but as fast as possible. Increasing difficulty for more exp or killing most or some various combo of the two is almost always slower than just grab another TF, levelling wise. I DO love a kill most ITF, especially when opening incarnate powers. Thats the trick right there. Most TFs, and ALL TF below 50. Speed. Errr, Fast! -
I do it in that order because 1) that is the order they come in at and I am boring 2) you can stack Cloak of Fear with Touch of Fear Use ALL toggles. Yes, all of them. Dark uses AoE stun and AoE fear to mezze the nobodies. This gets rid of a ton if annoying incoming attacks. If you do not take both those toggles do yourself a favor and quit reading. Dark Dark uses to hit debuffs to also reduce incoming attacks. Dark has non suppressed stealth. When they cant see you eating their friend twenty feet away you can call that defense. So Defense strategy set Now, your big bads ignore most of that. Soooo… some of the best resists in the game. Do not neglect energy resistance. It can be built into a nice neighborhood. I have Tanked Rom on a Master Run because i have energy resistance BEST heal in the game. Available every few seconds. Top of my head i think mine sits at 8 sec recharge. From .0001 health to 100%. Dark Melee provides very good ST damage. Bolstered by Dark armor damage aura there is decent AoE as well. since a Dark Dark Brute is rarely killed you will win any and all DPS races. the most spectacular tacoing of my Dark Brute i recall was a shadow shard TF. A teammate got stuck in a crossroads in a cave map with tons of big spawns all around. My overconfident butt went in. Those F-ing eyeballs ignore steath. So part of my “defense” was gone. Then…..oof. Rikti, some Nemi and a very few Longbow Wardens do the same. You need to learn the groups and know the odds. Only bet on winning hands.

I love your reasoning. But.... I have run this TF a Lot. I mean a LOT. Mostly on Brutes and Blasters, with some Tanks and Sentinels. NEVER experienced this. Never. -

Time for you to make a new toon! Having battled for decades against the forces of darkness and the foliage they hide in, now Agent Orange has set his eyes on Perez Park.

How to ruin it for your teammates in one easy power
Snarky replied to Techwright's topic in General Discussion
There is literally nothing in the game that will do this, aside from endurance hitting zero. You have emphatically ruled that out and I believe you. I think you found a glitch. Good luck getting the bug hunter badge. -
i have no problems with necro...

Yeah, I know a few of the very smart people who saw the whole thing in advance. Obvious pattern. They sold for MEGA and later on stuff was much cheaper. But still the PAs (in the quantity to make good RP costumes) is stupid expensive. I did not run the Aeon with them when it came out. It looked like a few weeks of hell. Maybe it burned them out. Most of them (99% of Cosmic Council) have not been for over 6 months. They left a month or so after that content drop. One of them popped back on a couple months back and dropped some cash on me, and the handful of Cosmic players who showed for a very rare event. (the type that used to be nightly...) That person has a stupid large amount. And now never plays. Anytime game economy affects my play I tend to sour on something. Just who I am. If I want to play in a rigged game where the winners and losers were set up long before I arrived I can just step outside into the real world. When Game Designers make it easy for a few to consolidate the wealth (and therefore control the market) then part of the fun dies. But, much like them never fixing Super Strength Rage Crash because a minority of hyper vocal people cry it will "ruin the game" (by not letting them double stack Rage) another minority group would scream it would "ruin the game" if they were not allowed to control the game economy and have 90% of the funds. Shame to spoil their fun.

People like Oklahoman and other great leaders (yeah, i compliment where it is deserved. sue me.) use macros to paste text walls. Some intrepid players even macro a power and a text file (pretty sure) for things like TP teammate. That is all I know

How to ruin it for your teammates in one easy power

We are navel gazing. The OP may never give us another clue. This happens a lot with threads we know) the only way his toggles dropped is if endurance went to zero. And someone was using a phase shift power we dont know) anything else -

I am wracking my brain to think of any power in the game that will drop one toggle. Much less all of them. Except for sapping energy with a side effect of dropping toggles -

More details on your toggles. You say it happened multiple times. Was your endurance gone, as mentioned above? Because in all my years playing that is the ONLY thing that will drop all your toggles. Having enemies sequestered in a phase shifted reality is a power a few control type sets get. Black Hole, Dimension Shift, etc. yes, this is annoying and most players never learn to ise it correctly. And it is almost never worth a power pick because it is a very very rare occasion where it can be used correctly and so is a waste edit; if you did take this type of power one of the few conditions for using it is having a teammate who just dropped endurance and lost all toggles. This would stop the enemies from attacking and buy the teammate time. Much needed time -
Furbie.... skating the fine line between TWO copyright infringements

i have an aversion to buying my way through things unless the price is relatively cheap. and PAs are not.
