    New Invul Tank

    Invul and Dark Melee to me are incredibly wonderful together. Darks to hit debuffs, combat heal to support Dull Pain, and Dark Consumption in case Carnies or something whack.
  3. depends on AT and level. I still remember an old Posi where all my teammates quit over the very long TF. I tried to solo the EB at the end. Damn. Just Damn.
  4. I start slotting I/Os as soon as I can. That means 7 for Panacea, My Invul Brutes get 4 sets of Reactives at 12, The ATOs slap in fast. Yeah, I use nasty little SOs until 7-15 in some slots. Then on to the gold baby! I have an SG mate that just uses SOs, sometimes on 50s. Everyone knows somebody that is mentally unstable though, right? Am I right or what? Right? RIGHT?
  5. Well, no one has ever complained to me that I have deleted stuff. I have gotten hints, rumors, and whispers about possible other issues. But no, no one has ever complained to me that I deleted something.
  6. To me Dark armor has issues pairing with anything that does not have an endurance recovery power. So Dark/Dark. I find nothing else that flows. I will pair Dark melee with Invul for great synergy. since Dark Armor does not have DDR you must fully understand Dark, and what it does. Some folks try to build it like regular armor. I think this is a major mistake Dark has a stealth which does not suppress in combat. Unless fighting enemies with capabilities like Rularuu eyeballs or Rikti drones Dark will not be seen, until close enough to get enemies in your combat zone. This is the first defense Dark has Dark has some to hit debuff. Paired as Dark/Dark you have a LOT of to hit debuff. This is another defense Dark has a Stun and a Fear Aura. One has a pretty crappy base accuracy. Build up you Accuracy and To Hit buff in your I/O build. Enemies that, even for a few seconds at a time, are feared or stunned are not attacking you. This is another two layers of defense Some people build Dark as other Armors, using time honored logic that Defense is greater than Resist is greater than Heal Dark stands this entire reality on it’s head by stealth/debuffs/mezzes and having incredible resists. Then having the absolute best heal in the game

  8. Well i never put def on Dark armor. I believe that stealth, to hit debuff, stun and fear are the defenss in Dark. But in a S/L farm i would build it to softcap.
  9. If you can get a full exp S/L farm with mobs that do not debuff Def, build a Dark/Dark Brute with S/L Res and build for softcap S/L Def. Horrid game build but great farmer
  10. Current balance is high end I/O builds. People can say "you don't have to run it" until they sound like homeless people talking to a wall. All you see in game are things like "+2 Speed Synapse" and recruiting for the very hardest content. Nicely though, I do not have to run it. I only log in for a couple hours a week now to run things with friends.
  11. I would agree wholeheartedly.... except the trend is to make things way harder in the modern game. Goldside 1-20 is without a doubt way harder than red/blue. I would recommend being grateful you have red/blue before they start adding EBs to every mission in every arc as part of the new game design.
  12. Yes, Praetoria has some odd level restriction quirks. You encounter a couple of these red/blue pre-10 as well.

  14. I have a thread that was moved to "Suggestions." About half the people responding are really against it. A good percentage of those that are against it have asked "Where does it stop?" The more I thought about it, the more I realized the brilliance of this. If you (not you, not making this personal) If ANYONE makes a suggestion they are trying to influence the game design. Once a change is made, where does it stop? It is absolute chaos. Please do not ask for changes, or make any suggestions. Likewise, please educate those who are asking for game changes or making suggestions. These folks need to know that they are taking us down the rocky road to ruin.

  19. Yes, in the movie “Ready Player One” one of the keys was solved by knowledge that the point of video games can be just wandering about in them. Now, I am not trying to infer whoever fixed this was some soulless corporate policy wonk who despises people having fun Still, it makes you think about things and wonder about our role in each other’s existences. Or not

  22. Honestly? Because I do not need to. Feeling of accomplishment? I have a Dark/Invul that stopped experience and side switched to do every arc from every single contact in every level range 1-50. Know how to pilot a character. With the exception of MMs that is not an issue. Sort of connection? If I like a toon I will write dozens of pages of an origin story about them. Playing/farming a toon 1-49 to discover they suck at 50? Priceless. This happens often. Token me please 🙂
