Yes. It adds up. But you have to have build goals. Not just random bonuses. Take my resistance dark Brute. Who chased resistance bonuses and can tank Lord Recluse on a master ms liberty. Or, again, perma doms chasing global hasten. Or my 100% ranged attack blasters who build for 45-60% ranged defense. It does indeed add up

At about level 30 slotting sets is a huge bonus compared to I/Os. There are some caveats. It helps to have 3-4+ pieces of the set. (Set after all). Almost every set piece will give bonuses to 2-4 different attributes. And these “a little here, a little there” really add up. Picking set bonuses that seem “okay” for one set bonus, then stacking that across your whole build adds up to really improved performance. Take ranged defense. You get 3-4% off a set. But if you get 5-7 sets with ranged defense…. Global recharge is like that, and leads to Doms getting permanent Domination. No one set bonus does it. But they stack it sometimes over 100% global recharge….

This is modern social media. With all the ills that entails. And, inevitably, they will be trying to monetize it in 1-100 ways. CoH has always been my favorite for creativity and content. And the HC team is wonderfully free of drama and money grabs.

what exactly is your criteria for that?

There should be increased rewards for redside DFB. Hear me out… If you run a “pure” villain you have a very slim chance, even on a busy server, of getting a red DFB together. Much less 4 for the 4 buffs. I really need to talk to an expert on how to solo the thing on a Blaster. (Temps, etc) for a new pure red project. That or beg/annoy 7 associates into running it 4 times lol. But there is a immense lack of red DFB possibilities. And it does hurt.

you are like a truffle hound lol. merits merits merits the bonuses are good. if they were better that would be great. i use these on a lot of my major runs. but i tend to hit every tf/sf/trial in order. so those 4 bonuses from 1-30 really give some nice cushion.

i would LOVE to be experienced enough with German to dabble in sarcasm. and perhaps this was borderline, it was a reflexive "obvs" (which i even translated as "of course") I think i am coming up on 2 years German study (solo, Babbel, a few apps, youtube videos) and i can make out very slow basic sentences, and misunderstand those too often. It is a tough language indeed.

ja klar! erm... of course. Troo has spoken trooth. this is not a hard badge to get. if we were addressing hard badges to get in the game this would not even make it into the top 50% maybe not even the top 90% it is ^slightly morer difficult than most location badges. and i would argue there are a few location badges that are as time consuming or more difficult. (the multiple stop ones, the hidden sewer one, the sewer trial one....)

griefing is one of the few reasons i cheer kicking then of course i have created colossal failures myself unintentionally. but thats just talent, not planning.

I succeed on this badge 90% + of time. My solution is quite simple. when the team goes to down the last group before boss fight i fly down the tunnel. I trigger the 3 bombs near entrance to boss room. i wait (flying) on my toon until boss appears. I use a ranged attack (if on a melee this is the where the P2w attack like blackwand is useful.). I fly back to tunnel entrance where team us emerging. The boss runs to us. having the boss come to us gives a few seconds with no zombie agro. It alsi makes the boss easy to target. The team can use any heals buffs debuffs easily. one of the main reasons this badge fails is the chaos of the fight set up. So i remove that. Envenomed dagger and prefilled tray of med red inspiration also helps.

A bunny rabbit? in German that is der Hase. there is an expression “so lauft der Hase” which means “thats how things are around here” or “those are the breaks”. It literally means there walks the rabbit. when you get your rabbit and i see you i will think “so lauft der Hase”

cool, simple enough. every 4-5 levels run 500 or so DFBs. guaranteed to be your origin. if it cant be done with brute force you are not trying hard enough....

well, the SOs drop from dfb, so tend runs is 50? random SOs at your level. without visiting a "store" but getting a endmod? not sure i ever seen one drop

Can you stop experience with this and just run content to get enhancers. Like run 10 dfbs when stuff gets ihly and refresh all your SOs, or most of them?

I must admit when Recluse asked me (okay, it wasn't him. But Arbiter Daos said it was from Recluse...) to kidnap a bunch of election technicians and get info from them I just took the job. Then I was tasked with stealing election machines. After that I was told to terrorize a news station manager into playing a segment on how the "other side" was fixing the vote. Then I had to blow up the TV station and the election machine office to cover all traces. But did I do the right thing. 5,000 inf and 10 merits? Really? I think i should have passed on this job.
