And there is an answer buried in the data above (to me - it might seem winter cold to others…). Your badger has capped badges. And has probably had a pretty solid build for the last 809 badges? More? You can get 500 or so badges in a full day (12 hours) doing locations. Only (or almost only) newer characters need winter packs or any i/o. Now , under my theory (never to be implemented) you would be able during the winter event to get discounts on 1 pack for every 100? Badges earned during that year.

I am sorry for the pain so many are feeling about Eildath’s illness and passing. Perhaps let it be tempered with the knowledge that because the joy that Eildath brought was so great then the depth of loss is equally large. This does bring up the possibility of a type of memorial for not just Eildath, but for so many who have fallen. And many more still in the future. Some place or way to honor the memory of those who are not with us now, but are cared for in our memories. Maybe even some way we can interact with the memorial. Sign it with our global, leave something permanent, etc.

Strange as it may be to thank”ebil marketeers” (99% i do not know the name of) I would like to thank them. They keep the market stable and dependable. Trying to “outcorner a market” from these folks is an exercise in losing money. When i go to the AH there is a stable and steady price curve, but without the constant obsessess…. Er, love from these folks it would be all over the place. So thanks to the market manipulating maniacs. You know who you are….

this. when i start PUG TFs they dont always go sideways.... when i advertise a speed Tarikoss and a couple randos show up and we are done in 12 minutes. yeah. it's like that. and there are hundreds? of players like this.

You can do Ouro stuff/ Basically a 1 person TF that you can run 1 mission on, then log and finish it later. There are tons of badges to be had doing the Ouro stuff. Both Ouro specific badges and alll sorts of mission/completion badges.

Globals are just like I/Os and will work 3 levels below their bottom level. So, if attuned, the set bonuses including 20% res will work until 7. When i take a 50 and build (alt build) it to do ouro badging i will abuse purples and globals since they have a bottom of 10 (so 7) and you can stack impressive stuff into a little level 7. Set bonuses work even if a power is grayed out due to exemping. As long as you are in their range.

is this even possible? has it been done on other servers? does it work...well....if done there? i always understood MMs were janky as hell behind the curtain...

Thanks Hedgefund. I actually try to do Nothing with the market. The closest i came was about 18? Months ago i changed all my merits to converters and bulk sold them to a certain market junky. Lol. It was a lot, since i never spend merits except on anniversay badges. And i kept quite a few for that purpose held back. When you olay the game merits just build up.

considering rebuilding for placate. is this a worthwhile endeavor? CoH Wiki: Placate Placate is as it sounds - an enemy who is placated cannot attack the Stalker which placated it for a set period of time (and loses interest in the Stalker as well) unless the Stalker decides to follow up with attacks which will immediately break Placate. what is the current "best use" of merits? is it still buy converters, market converters, use inf to buy what you want from market? is there anything else you can buy with merits that even make sense?
