That's why I posted here so others can suggest what might work better and if the Homecoming team see this they can pick which one they like the most if they want 🙂 Like Okie's idea where you can get credit for leading things and get a gold title from Luna, although it does take away from the more personal touch that I would hope for from the Homecoming team could still be a good addition ❤️ And the thank yous mean a ton to me too when I get them 🥰 But those are from the community where as this would be a sign of recognition from the Homecoming team themselves!

I get that hence why I am not saying everyone gets one, it will be 100% up to the Homecoming team on who gets one and who doesn't (Exactly as it is atm as custom perma gold titles already exist out there) But just for some consideration towards people who keep server events running too, giving people things to do as I have seen the effects on a server when there are no event leaders how it gets a lot harder to form them ❤️

It's not a perfect solution but I am happy to hear how it can be more fair ❤️ I think @Americas Angel's suggestion is a great improvement on what I initially posted for instance 🙂

With all due respect, are you expecting a team lead to take 5 minutes at the start of every team they form to check through everyones powers and then if they find a power like Group Fly, either tell the rest of the team after already waiting 5 minutes: "Hey everyone, CHARACTER NAME has group fly so if you don't want that affecting you, you will need to leave this zone and go to Pocket D, you can get to pocket D by the van in Atlas if you check your map, once there head over to the seagull on the red side van and ask him to turn it off, then come back here we can start!" Or the weirdly worse option: "Hey CHARACTER NAME, I notice you have Group Fly, I am going to ask now for you not to use it for these task forces if that is okay? Oh you won't because you would prefer to have it on? In that case I will sadly have to remove you from the team as it will negatively affect them." Neither of those are good options in my book, so in reality we should be trying to figure out a way to prevent this issue all together as a few people have mentioned solutions in the midst of all this chaos. Personally I would remove the group version of travel powers and have the single versions affect your pets too so it saves those who want to RP their characters as teleporters to teleport an army with all these cool new animations (Just imagine an undead army arriving as a swarm of ravens 😄 ), or those who want to have their robots all flying beside them to take flight

I assume this means it was me leading? XD In which case I do post the instructions in league chat of what we are doing, why we are doing it, and what to avoid 😄 And even when people are confused still and ask in league or send me a tell I try my best to help them, sadly I am not omniscient so I do not know when one of the dozens on the league is: Knowledgeable on what to do without instructions, following the instructions I do post, confused by what is going on and needs that extra bit of guidance, or just afk for whatever reason ❤️ Majority of league leaders try their best to give clear instructions in their own way, and I do think I do a decent job in explaining what we are doing as we do it without just speeding people through with incans as the way I run Minotaur is as follows: When hunting fogs every few minutes post: Our goal is simple, to get enough level shifts to fight the Minotaur! The best way to do this is searching the Labyrinth for Malevolent Fogs and killing them (They do not fight back so anyone can kill them) So pick a random portal or door and start searching! Once we have enough level shifts I will gather us in one spot to await the Minotaur! Once we have enough level shifts: We now have enough level shifts ready to fight the Minotaur! For now keep searching for fogs and if you see the Minotaur, IF YOU SEE THE MINOTAUR SHOUT "MOOOOOOOO" (✿◠‿◠) Once the Minotaur is found I will incan the league behind them whilst taunting the Mino away for cone attacks and post: SUMMON ALL OF YOUR PETS NOW! Soon a prompt will appear asking you to teleport to his arena, press accept and continue killing the minotaur inside! The Minotaur will also spawn Gladiators during the fight at low health and they NEEd to be killed ASAP as the Minotaur is immune to damage otherwise! Try to avoid the Tornados too. If you are tanking, face him away from the league! If you are damaging, do it from behind! Once the Minotaur is dead and someone runs off to head to the next room: Well done all! Hold here for incan to the Ballroom Blitz if you would like tons of great XP and Influence! But if you are heading off take care and hope you had fun (✿◠‿◠)❤️ Once we are teleported to the new room it is either: Soon the Mr Handsy will be spawing here and they have ONE simple mechanic to remember! Around the room you will see friendly "Mythic Fog"s, we will hug these like they are our best friends! This will prevent you being pulled into your instant death (✿◠‿◠) If the avatar is spawning or if not: Very simple gang! We stick together and nuke EVERYTHING that dares spawn here! Using things like [Fold Space] is a god send here (✿◠‿◠) ❤️ So get your murder shoes on for this Ballroom massacre! Oh! And don't step off the edges or in the direct centre of the room! You will die 😄

Sadly that's the human nature coming through with speeding things, though I do believe this was a case of joining right at the boss fight and being overwhelmed, it would be like if someone joined the league during a Hamidon at the mito phase after the instructions were given out 🙂

It sounds like you joined right as the league was fighting the Minotaur and you teleported right into that fight which is unfortunate for you but isn't unique to just Labyrinth. Then you were teleported to the Ballroom Blitz (Or officially the Font) where you kill a lot of mobs to spawn the next GM and farm XP like in an MSR ❤️ I can't say for the instructions given as I wasn't there (That I know of) but there is a ton more to the Labyrinth 😄 From the lore, the secret rooms, to the mote finding and badge collecting. The guide posted by @caradoc1979 is slightly outdated since the new updates to the Labyrinth but this one is the most up to date where it includes the new room:

Honestly same here 😄 When I first went to find it I was like "These locs must be wrong! Just a weird room and that's all!"

So the room is blocked off with a crate whilst the Mino is alive to make it EXTRA hidden 😄 The route I go once the Mino is down is: Core - Orange portal - Continue to click the door you came out of (I think 6 times) until you end up in the Orange Council caves - Follow the thumbtack and bam you are there!

The reason I suggest a title is because it does not affect your costume at all, as personally I am very fond of how I look so a special aura or Cape would not be incentive to me in fact it would be the opposite 😄 And for how to earn it, at least how I envision (Obviously it doesn't have to be this way) would be a judgement call on the Homecoming team, similar to how certain things are pinned at the top of forums and the discord channels ❤️ Once you start to make it a checkbox it feels less like a personal appreciation award from the Homecoming team and more of a company policy like when work sends you a birthday card

That would be up to the Homecoming team as I believe they are all aware of my desire for that title 😄 But even if I am not considered for it I am more then happy if it means others are and get that public sign of thanks! Plus it gives me another thing to aim for For clarity each person would get a title that they chose the name of within reason, not everyone gets the same title of "Content runner" for instance

As Greycat said the gold titles were separate from the badge titles you can pick 🙂 I would say the Homecoming team, as they already do this with certain posts on the forums and on the discord which so far I have seen little complaint about what is and isn't pinned (Granted I haven't looked for it so I could be highly wrong and everyone hates pinned posts 😄 ) I do have faith the team can see who is putting in a lot of effort to keep the game running and fun for other players ❤️

That would be up to the Homecoming team if they want to limit it to their main or be on 3-5 characters ❤️ Gold lettering is just a free way to recognize the work they put in, it's not a special badge that badgers would want access to, it's not an extra power, it's just a cute little title they could have specially for them 🙂 And yeah the current Homecoming team have been known to hand out temporary golden titles that are funny and unique like "I went innertubing with Arcanum"

I am sure most of us have seen people with gold titles above their heads that 90% of the time is costume contest related, however they are also given out to people who help run bases during Halloween and other reasons. My suggestion would to also use these to show recognition towards people in the community who also run events that help keep the game alive and thriving ❤️ I say people like Veracor on Everlasting or Okie on Excelsior are two prime examples of great additions to the community so having a gold title that they can customize (within reason of course) of would be a kind way for the Homecoming team to recognize their work in a public way and maybe even encourage others to start leading more content in order to get one 🙂

That's honestly a great approach too, as by the time they are done with the mobs that were snatched away, you have collected the next herd in a nice little clump to be killed!

Yeah I think removing/altering that is a smart move judging by todays topics ❤️ Even if they changed "pets" to "trash" it would still give that wtf impression without it being politically topical for the current time 😄

Weighing in on this a bit late but I wonder if there could possible be two phases to the closed beta testing? The more natural one that the devs like to see where the testers explore what was changed/added, then after a set time they can post what their goals are with the additions to help clear up any confusion and allow more though testing in that exact area. If we take the wet debuff for instance, could have a week of more natural testing as the devs desired for players to try and figure out what it does, what it interacts with, and what applies it. Then after say 2 weeks they can come out saying what wet does, what it currently interacts with, what applies it, and even the intention behind it (Such as a coming powerset having a lot of interactions with it) ❤️ I do think the current Labyrinth has been a shining example of this with the initial more mystery section where people explored it naturally and giving feedback, then after a while Cobalt started to explain the intent and after seeing how people interacted with it naturally adapted the content to better suit that. People scouting for fogs was the fastest way compared to the intended kill method, which left the XP side lacking and not much to do after Mino was down which was shown through natural testing, then cobalt explained the intent of the zone and you have things like the Font room added to allow that XP to shine through whilst embracing how people naturally interacted with the Minotaur section. TLDR: Both natural testing and knowledgeable testing are useful and it would be good to get a mix of both for things added to the game 🙂

Personally I am a little confused 😄 The incentive already exists in the fact I can run whatever I want to as a leader, whether that be a Trial, TF, Missions, RP hang out sessions in Pocket D etc. It's not a burden I am forced with and need to be compensated for with temporary powers or extra rewards and I feel if that is the incentive to run a team you will get some people who don't want to lead doing it for the better rewards and Snarky will have a lot more Pug stories to tell about leaders 😄
