I'll agree that EA doesn't use hasten as much as some sets do, but it still does a good bit. Especially when it's main defense is spamming the heal and absorb. It also helps you use the aoe and ST damage attacks faster as well, and yes, 25% faster energizing circuit is always good. And there wasn't really much room for any improvement. Some stats on a MINOR scale for defense etc maybe, but overall to do that it's not worth what you have to lose/move around to do so. So there isn't room for improvement, as much as it is YOUR preference. Also, it's very important for discharge to neuter spawns.

Check page 4 and you'll see it beat. It addresses the kb issue for one so it far out dps's the other builds. the only difference is tough/weave are later in the build, but also means you get two attacks earlier. The only other main difference is the extra ranged defense, but that doesn't mean much, when you're already capping s/l/e defenses plus about 38/39% to the rest. My build also has 35% more global recharge in addition to 45% more slow resistance which is very important for EA. Oh yeah and was web envelope too to manage the wanders wander when they are drained.

The Mastermind Wishlist: Completed, Uncut, and En Masse

Don't forget to add making the upgrade powers auto proc auras. I know of at least 7 in game people who agree on that, and multiple discussions on help where people have agreed with not one disagreeing.- 152 replies

Defibrillate. Not only is the red always valuable, on a mm it has the added benefit of being a big end drain. As the sleep would be i would assume the end drain is aoe. So that plus discharge will fully drain a whole mob up to +3 in about 5 seconds, every 35ish seconds with two 50+5 recharges and the rest of the build.

Sorry I just get overly passionate and playing from beginning and even making builds for years when the game was gone has given me a lot of insight. It also bugs me having hard to get/expensive ios wasted on a build taking away from the community and making the prices go higher when they're not needed.
-
Except you're giving bad advice that is going to cost them a lot more and take IO/Hami's out of the market that can better be used for other builds. And High end doesn't mean much with energizing circuit. They shouldn't be having any problems, hence in the following miracle instead of panacea in health. And empowering is crucial, at least/especially if you team because it's one of the only buffs the set has to actually help with acc/damage which is what most people are going to expect if you ever team with them. Tactics is also very useful on MMs, and uses the gaussians better because the to hit bonus drops off from empowering circuit (which you also didn't take till 41...) Here is a much better, and cheaper build that will be much more value on teams, and also addresses the knockback issue that the bots have which you did not address. I seem passionate because i simply don't want people to follow bad advice and spend more money for a less effective build. Except here where it's really a waste of money and a waste of HAMIs where someone else may need it better and you're pointlessly taking it from them for no reason, really. I get that for more hold proc chances, but that's pretty minimal on the build, and I would value the higher acc with the acc/rech, especially for how mobs like to wander when drained of endurance.
-
With the purple sets, if you use that only immobilize for example, you'll get about 101% immobilize on the power, if you skip that, and get the acc/rech, you get more acc/rech which is very important as the sets kinda low already, and you can boost the acc/rech, and immob/end, and even the acc/imm/rech, to still get about 98% immobilize which is only about a second difference, but much more acc/rech stats on the power.
-
You DEFINITELY don't need to use that many HOs. The value they add to the build is COMPLETELY unnecessary. Especially since most are only adding a tiny fraction of end reduction that doesn't matter with energizing circuit. Also for things like the aoe immobilize, you want the acc/rech, not the straight immobilize. Purples cap out their stat + rech values by boosting just two pieces and you get more acc and rech that way. Also for rejuvenating and insulating circuit, panacea? Really? For literally like 40 mill cheaper you can get doctored wounds for just a 2.5% rech loss, or use one more slot and get preventative medicine for an extra 1.25% recharge for much less money too. And I get they did Numina for the ranged defense but there are better ways. And empowering circuit at 41??? The more I look at this build the more I see how utter crap it is. I'm going to try to get the new mids update today and will make a proper build.
-
For all non Mastermind classes make it so when you go to summon a new pet if the old pet is not dead that the location reticle instead tells the pet to go to that location.
-
Energizing circuit also needs fixed. It's pointless to have that high rech for only 5 seconds. It needs to have the rech lowered but last longer.
-
I did as well and still no EA. On EA, they need to make Galvanic Sentinel not go away unless it's killed. Too often it goes away and stupid to keep casting, though it is def worth keeping out. Just like FFgen, and even Dark Servant, they should not die on their own. There are too many clicks in this set too. They should make maybe empowering circuit a pbaoe proc aura toggle. There isn't much point also in the values declining. They should stay the same for every target hit.
-
Perhaps but all it takes is a simple addition to the screens, shoudln't be hard at all.

issue 26 Patch Notes for March 31st, 2020 - Issue 26, Page 5

The new cone is definitely nicer for aoe but they should really make the base range 10ft. 7ft is just too short especially for scrappers. -
issue 26 Patch Notes for March 31st, 2020 - Issue 26, Page 5
WindDemon21 replied to The Curator's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
I'll chime that the change to shadow maul while vastly better than it's previous version, it does feel odd having it still only be a range of 7ft, especially on non-tanks and making it just out of the range of damage auras to tell where you're going to hit. I'd like to see at bare minimum an 8ft range, if not 10ft as it's really the sets only only aoe,. -
Exactly, procs already have opportunity costs, and are not guaranteed either. I think the current system is fine for how it is and shouldn't be touched any further. The POINT of the procs is to help out the sets and powers that don't do what you want them to do on their own. IE like the damage in Char. Any other nerf to them and they would be completely useless for the most part.

Increase recipe drop rates please
WindDemon21 replied to TheSpiritFox's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
No I 100% agree cause I had the exact same thoughts. Especially since it drives down the farming, that means less recipes on the market. It also means that less farmers rolling the ato/winter IO lottery packs and those are going to be driven up as well. In addition, it also doesn't give any incentive to exemplar, I would propose that they offer more threads/shards when exemplaring as well. -
The Mastermind Wishlist: Completed, Uncut, and En Masse
WindDemon21 replied to Monos King's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Except I do find them fun, incredibly fun, except for this ONE key point that is completely unnecessary. Honestly as annoying as it is, a big part of why is the slow animation and ability to find and target them after you summon them. If they made them targettable sooner, and more importantly made them pbaoe clicks with a smaller end cost it wouldnt be so bad.- 152 replies

The Mastermind Wishlist: Completed, Uncut, and En Masse
WindDemon21 replied to Monos King's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
It's also a matter of fun too, as this is what this game is for. And this is a huge concern regarding that as well. It's not just unnecessary, but it's a huge annoyance dealing with casting, and also waiting for the pets to summon after you cast the power to even be able TO buff them. It was the number one thing that kept me away from even making my first MM. And when they made it an aoe, i gave them a try, and stuck it out through several MMs. And it is consistently the number one reason why i'll just not want to play my MMs and deal with that. I have not come across one person in game who does not feel the same way. No other AT has to deal with such a detrimental and annoying mechanic within their AT, except for basically like melee armor tier 9s with a crash. Which you can see that most people skip due to that, but the problem is that you can't skip those powers on a MM, because they are 100% necessary.- 152 replies

The Mastermind Wishlist: Completed, Uncut, and En Masse
WindDemon21 replied to Monos King's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I have suggested both actually, but of course the most likely would be keeping the equip powers but making them auto auras that proc. Having to equip them during battle like that isn't "part of the playstyle". It's just a hindrance that doesn't need to or should be there. The uniqueness and playstyle of playing a MM is CONTROLLING those pets, and having them be most of your damage/survival and keeping them alive. The weakness of the class is that for one you can't buff the recharge of the pet skills, and that most are very susceptible to knockback, damage, and the like. Also that the main source of your damage doesn't benefit from most IOs and set bonuses either. It doesn't need the upgrades to be clicks simply to be an annoyance, and having them as auto auras doesn't overpower the MMs either. There is no reason valid enough to keep them as click upgrades vs auto auras.- 152 replies

The Mastermind Wishlist: Completed, Uncut, and En Masse
WindDemon21 replied to Monos King's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I would, and have agreed that they are much more necessary on the MM. I'm simply stating that there ARE uses for them outside of MMs, so it shouldn't impede on those just because you prefer MMs over troller/doms. And you also proved my point, and went against yourself in a way as well. The aura IOs shouldn't be meant to be required for any AT. They should be nice to help them out and make things smoother. The BIG problem, is if MMs are NEEDING those, then the MM needs re-looked at as a whole as to why those are so needed. The big thing as I've stated before is the training buffs needing to be on an auto aura. Then they wouldn't need to survive as much if you just recast them and are done with them. And as to the troller/doms, while not 100% necessary, they do their intended function, and make them more survivable so you don't have to micromanage them as much, not just for farming situations. I wouldn't farm with a fire/ff, but it sure is nice to not have to keep attention to the imps as much and actually have them not insta-die against AVs. I think allowing the pet IO sets to go into the MM attacks is the best solution for both the more this conversation goes on.- 152 replies

So what is the value of the heal it gives. Will this be able to go into powers like stamina/PP/SC? Also, has anyone else not noticed that this set is SERIOUSLY lacking in accuracy? Any power that deals damage to even use the damage stats, is going to need accuracy as well. I would at least make that dam/rech into acc/dam/rech. The end mods should be left alone cause otherwise it would reduce the already lower values of that within the set.

The Mastermind Wishlist: Completed, Uncut, and En Masse
WindDemon21 replied to Monos King's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Jack frost is a perfect example. He has 25% defense as a base. Give about 4% for maneuvers, that 29% defense can turn to 39% defense which is a huge bump in survival, especially on a dominator who doesn't have another means to buff/heal him. Let's say you have a FF controller, especially Fire/FF. The shields and maneuvers give about 33.5% defense. Getting 10% more to give them 43% is almost capped and makes a huge difference on the pets survival. Another big one is my plant/traps controller. Between creepers and fly trap as well as acid mortar and FFgen, on top of stacking with ffgen and maneuvers, those aura IOs i have in him make a huge difference to keeping all those pets alive especially with triage/spirit tree helping to *heal* them. Even/especially on the creepers i noticed a difference when i got those IOs with the way the build works. I'm not granting that they're not much more useful on the MM in general, but they do have uses out side of MMs, and I don't think it would be right to get rid of those for the non-MM classes that do use them. I fully get what you're saying, I don't use those aura IOs on most of my troller/doms but that is usually more of a matter of slots than anything else, doesn't mean I wouldn't like to fit them on the pet if i could, and that I don't have builds that do in fact use them. Perhaps what we would need is to make those sets "loyal pet" IO's, and then the new ones "intelligent pet" IOs with the new aura IO and separate that they can't use one vs another. That would be a lot of new IOs though.- 152 replies
