Ah yes, nothing like pulling on a thread of an old sweater and unraveling the whole damn thing. Seen it happen more often than I'd like during old code porting/updating projects. Poor dev team. Good luck sorting it out, it's a right pain in the ol' nuts.

There's a thread on the Support forum for this, but I figured I'd drop a line here as well. I tested this in Cimerora and RWZ. Unless an "overpower!" result is rolled, Blind does not hold Bosses and above anymore when reapplied by the same caster. Likewise Deceive does not deceive anything higher than a LT even with multiple applications, unless "overpower!" is rolled. Forget about deceiving EBs or AVs. I play almost exclusively solo, so I cannot speak to Blind and Deceive from different casters stacking, but when reapplied by the same caster, the previously-applied effect falls off as soon as the new effect is applied. The level of the target does not matter - this equally manifests when trying to Blind/Deceive a purple, a yellow, a white or even a gray target. According to the bug report thread, this seems to be affecting Illusion primary only, but I have no other controllers so I can't confirm that. Sincerely hope this is a bug because if it isn't, it's a major rule change that was pushed out on the sly and without discussion. Regardless, if you are an Illusion/ and wonder if something feels a bit off lately, this is it.

Confirmed, this is happening to me too. I've been in Cimerora for the past couple nights and was wondering if there was something special about the cimerorans, but it's happening everywhere. Deceive isn't stacking either. I am no longer able to Deceive anything above LT level even with repeated applications. Prior to the recent patch I could deceive bosses at least (never tried with AVs, but it used to be possible). Looks like Illusion just seriously took it in the shorts. Without a warning, too. -
Was working my way through ITF (solo) and had the following happen twice: the client CTDs (black screen first, then crash to desktop). No error message. Once happened during a big fight, another time it was just me, Romulus and his pet fuzzballs. Since the final mish of ITF has the "defeat 300 traitors" victory condition, you can imagine how frustrating it is for a solo player... plus I had put a pretty decent dent into Romulus when it happened. Kinda ready to throw the entire desktop out of the window right now TBH.

As a bit of /bind obsessive, I would like to ask for the following changes, if at all possible: 1. APPS key to be recognized as a modifier (so you could bind apps+something). 2. Binds making a distinction between left and right modifier keys, namely left and right CTRL, ALT and SHIFT. For the purposes of single keystrokes, the game already distinguishes between left and right modifier keys (you can bind separate actions to LShift and Rshift, for example). However, you cannot bind something to, say, lshift+a and something else to rshift+a, because the game recognizes both binds as simply shift+a. Thank you for considering.

Amazing body of work, especially considering that it is done by an all-volunteer team. The HC devs are the true superheroes of CoX. And yes, I am fanboing a bit, and I make zero apologies for it. -
What's considered a lot of wealth in the game?

To me, wealth consists of three components: - Fully IO'd characters that I actually play. Which really amounts to 1 (my main), but I like to pretend that it's 5 (controller, scrapper, PB, Mastermind, spider). Additionally, everything that should be attuned is attuned, and everything else is +5, whether it needs to be or not. - 1bn Inf in cash on the main, and 250m on all other "active" characters (for inspirations, tailor, etc). - Some kind of active money-spinner on the market so I can immediately make back whatever I spend, because I have a panic attack as soon as my Inf decreases (1bn? I sleep. 995 mil? Real sh#t). -

I want to create a macro that would change my costume, play a costume change emote and set a badge title. So I created this macro: cce 0 CCDimensionShift$$settitle 1510 This should change my costume to the one in the first slot, play the Dimension Shift emote and set my title to Incarnate. The costume changes correctly, but the title does not set - the command returns "Your badge title has been cleared". I do have Incarnate badge. Issuing the command by itself doesn't work either - I tried it from the chat window (/settitle 1510) and nothing. I tried with a couple other badges too - i.e. Professor from day jobs, and in that case I received the message "Badge title set to ." and my badge title became a single period. I used the badge IDs from the Badge Tracker website. Are they listed incorrectly there? Am I doing something else wrong? Thanks in advance.

Eeeeexcuse me, the post in question does not suggest a PB can't break 101 DPS, it suggests that I can't break 101 DPS playing a PB... Two big differences as they say in Odessa...
