Did she click and move away from the plaque quickly? Plaques are a bit more twitchy than badges. Click on plaque and wait next to it for 3 seconds. It probably was a bug, but I know there are some weirdness with plaques.

Thank you Ukase! I think this is my goto mission for this badge now.

Great find. I did it through Oro. It's at a good level. I was able to get 8 wolves in the first mission before the servers restarted.

A little more hopefully helpful information on finding Cryo bosses. In Eden, the area called Serpentine, has a skyscraper in the southern end. The area around the skyscraper is crawling with 35 Crey, like 80% of mobs are Crey. A quick mental guess is there 10+ spawn points. There other areas with lots of Crey but those are a mix of 34-35 Crey. These are all 35+. If you go circle around the skyscraper hitting the existing mobs so the de-spawn. You'll get a cryo every min or so on average. Still tedious, so I would do whatever you like to get the gamma tanks. Then use Eden to get the last cryos. Unless someone has found a better spot in Eden than this?

I got the gamma tank badge. I agree now that Eden is the best place for the cryos.

After seeing the thread about four players getting the Worthy Opponent. I though I would give my two cents about doing this w/o an specifically designed team. I did my first run today with a PUG. We won mostly through pure tenacity and a lot of super inspirations. We went into the final mission with only 7, at the end the tank dc'ed. So, no aggro control. Fortunately, we had a bubbler and enough other defense to make it doable. Took about 2 hours. A few notes: The loss of set bonuses didn't hurt as much as the lack of incarnates. Celerity still works, so you can stealth a lot. Hero T9s suck. You'll need to wait them out. Many of the heroes have T9s. Prioritize your targets and make sure to switch when a Hero pops their T9. Bring lots super inspirations. Temp powers are very useful. Pets, wedding ring, envenomed daggers, Warburg nukes, bring them all! Confuse works with the usual caveats. You might be able to pull one Hero, but most of the time you are going to get them all. Unless you sleep or confuse the rest. The other thread:

A little data from my grinding out the Escape! arc for Crey cryo bosses and gamma tanks. Three missions, median sized maps. Took about ~35 minutes to clear all mobs. Run total: 7 Cryo bosses 77 Gamma tanks Two more runs for gamma tanks and five ish for cryos. Though, I can start skipping from group to group checking for cryos after I have finished the gamma tanks. That will speed things up. Anyone else found a better mission? What were your numbers?

Excellent hunting ground for Vanguard. Mr. G (Primal) first arc. First two missions are wall to wall Vanguard. Available at level 50.
-
At least for Crey Gamma Tanks. Contact: Operative Grillo Arc: Escaped! Level 50 Location: Grandville Three mission arc which is good for doing non-incarnate or alpha only Ouroboros badges. All three missions are full of Crey. I saw lots of gamma tanks even at -1x0.

List of badges that only the team leader receives
KaizenSoze replied to KaizenSoze's topic in Badges
Agent Watkins, Graveyard shift arc. The Greater Good and Went off Script badges only go the mission owner. HC wiki does state that. -
Thank you I was able to get the pentad badge. It was very glitchy, I had to try several times before randomly it worked. Three interesting things: Arachnos Widows (Night Widow and Fortunata) was listed as Arachnos Soldier Arachnos Soldier (Bane) was listed as Arachnos Widow I was able to get it to work with one Widow and one Bane. I had reset the match and invites several times. Flip between freeform and custom pentad. Then it just worked one time. Good enough.

You're right about Swiss Draw, it's really messed up. I am not 100% certain this is correct, because it was a year ago. I followed an SG mates instructions and got the badge this way. The player that wants to get the badge needs to win the match and also be second in the match list. Not second place in ranking, second position in the list when the match is started. Make absolutely no sense, but there it is.
-
Oh lord. Overreact much. I am talking about badges that require most people to have multiple accounts given the current state of PvP. You go on some nonsensical tear about some slipper slop. Not the same thing! Have you tried the arena recently? It's a buggy mess. When I got my last badger completed. I manged to get some SG mates together for the pentab, septab, and swiss draw. It was a god awful bug ridden mess. We would have to restart the match selection multiple times because it would just flake. We spent 45 mins just to get two people the damn swiss draw badge, because it kept glitching. They aren't going to fix arena code any time. I am suggesting an alternative.
-
PvP is dead on most of the HC servers. Badgers have to resort to second accounts, so they have players to kill. The whole arena system is a mess, Pentab, Septad, and Swiss draws are tedious buggy glitch fests. Make the badges expensive, more than 100 merits each. So, as not to trivialize them. I am not saying all PvP badges should be purchasable. Just a few that would required multiple account to complete solo. Specifically: Kill X players in PvP zone Pentad, Septad, Swiss draw Arena/Gladiator kill X

As a badger I have done a lot of story arcs. And some of them are really good! Unfortunately, you have use Oroboros to run most of them, which discourages team play. If they were a weekly strike folks would be able to recruit easier. Examples of arcs that would benefit from WST: Graveyard Shift Freakish Lab of Dr. V Mr. G (Primal). This can be run at 50, but not enough folks have experienced this awesome arc. Frostfire Talshak the Mystic, unlocks Caverns of Transcendence Trail Buck Salinger, unlocks Katie Hannon TF Lars Hansen, unlocks Ernesto Hess TF

Untouchable Badge - Good mission for family bosses
KaizenSoze replied to KaizenSoze's topic in Badges
This my week for finding good Family missions. Alignment: Vigilante Contact: Shauna Braun Arc: Dirty Work (The wiki page has nothing about the arc. Badger has this note about it, Shauna Braun (Level 25-29, Arc 26.01 in Ouro, Vigilante)) Level range: 25-29 You have to run the arc twice for the Avenger and Beyond Reasonable Doubt badges. Three of the five missions have full maps of family. The other missions are PPD. -
They do count. But you cannot make another one if you have one of that type. I think... Here's what I do for the crafting badges. Level 25 Damage Level 50 Recharge I find people will still buy these, though it might take 24 hours to sell them all. They also only take two components each. If you have unlimited money just create the cheapest IOs and delete them.

Contact: Stephanie Peebles Arc: Ring of Peebles Level range: 20-24 Mission: Destroy the illicit drug shipment A freighter full of Family. Best one I have found so far. Badgers have to do all the Striga arcs for the, Port Authority, badge anyhow.

VEATS and the new difficulties.
KaizenSoze replied to The_Warpact's topic in Arachnos Soldier & Widow
You can avoid that fight by getting control of one the other consoles. Generally, there is always a short cut for any ripple zone. -
I think any 5th column lt now has a chance to transform. I have definitely seen non vampyri transform.
-
Yes, mine did. If you had the badge you were safe.
-
Do we have a suggestion list for non-events badges that are best to hunt during events? Examples: Croatoa: Ghosts during Halloween eternal nights Brickstown: Prisioners badges during Winter Event. You can hunt presents and prisoners at the same time.

Yes, but what are your experiences on the ASF. I am hoping to run it high diff next week with the SG. -
VEATS and the new difficulties.
KaizenSoze replied to The_Warpact's topic in Arachnos Soldier & Widow
I haven't run with a team at high levels with my VEATs, but I have tried solo at low difficulty 0x8 or 0x4. It's very slow going. Due to the amount auto hit -resist thrown about, Widow scaling resists aren't very effective. At least in time. Tough is back on the build list again. Fortunatas without perma Mind Link also suffer, but you can confuse cheese your way through a lot in the first few missions. Had to stop at Ripplesurge, I couldn't overcome his regen. At higher difficulties, the Smelters run tactics which kill your confuse duration. Good news. Psi and Toxic damage are poorly resisted. My Bane did the best in straight up fighting, because they can be built with good defense and resists. Also, the amount of toxic damage is very useful against Goldbrickers. The new placate is good for getting heat off you.
