  1. We'll have to disagree about Leviathan Mastery. My opinion is probably because of which builds I have tried it on. Mace: Scorpion Shield has been very useful for me many defenders and blasters. Leviathan Mastery, I have tried it on Banes, Stalkers, and Grav doms. Grav being the perfect test case as they can clump mobs like no one else. The cones are narrow, slow casting, and expensive. Water spout caused so much scatter and I was not impressed with the damage. It filters about too much. I'm glad to see some people like it. No pool should go unloved. 🙂
  2. Shatter armor is about the only good mace power besides Scorpion Shield. Having said that, I almost never take SA. I find the slot more useful elsewhere. Now, if you want the worst patron pool. That's easy, Leviathan Mastery.
  3. dark/ta/mace I consider this build 4x8 801.2 certified. I still need to complete the whole mission, but I cleared the first few rooms w/o a death. 7:30 Trapdoor time. I have a design question. I have lots of AOE, so Tenebrous Tentacles is there to pin mobs on top of oil slice. Otherwise, I am not in love with it's short range and narrow cone. I am thinking about swapping out TT for Abyssal Gaze. I can slot and Entomb set for more defense and an nice absorb proc. v1 w/o Abyssal Gaze v2 with Abyssal Gaze
  4. Glad to here it's going well. Gas Cloud? I guess you mean Smoke Grenade.
  5. From the HC discord: Maintenance will be delayed one more day - we'll be doing it on Thursday.
  6. I was reading the Valentine wiki page again to prep for the event. Two of the temp powers might be very useful for Worthy Opponent and Master of Dr. Aeon runs. Wiki: Nectar City of Data: Nectar - Mag 4 60 sec 10ft AOE confuse Wiki: Arrow Of Jealousy City of Data: Arrow Of Jealousy - Mag 3 27 sec single target If enough teammates have these powers, the final battle in Worth Opponent and getting the Friendly Fire badge might be a bit easier.
  7. Not sure if the badges are shared with the team. My guess would be no. All of the those badges are available using Oroborous. Otherwise, there would be a great cry from the badgers.
  8. Not sure what you mean about the last two minutes. Once, the GM is down you can go back any time and defuse. I have done this. Yes, that team could have being selfish and not trusting the other team to get the bombs done.
  9. I didn't think a team could get more than one bomb credit per MSR. Also, if your team didn't defuse a bomb you can back after the GM is down and defuse one to get the credit. I know this is true, because I have done it myself. As for the rest, yes it's boring unless you are pulling. That is a little fun.
  10. I am still having a high failure rate, but the flying zerg appears to be the best strategy. One of the big issues, even with a taunter, is that the titan will just random attack other players. For a good chance of success. Use the other mentioned strategy, but include: 2-4 Biggest red insp you can afford 2 Big orange insp, the ranged is a cone with an energy + special damage. Resists help with the energy portion. 2 Big purples, titan has a 1.5 modifier on it's attacks. Each miss is invaluable. Big greens Additional notes: Ambrosia Resistance lowered to 65% while in Master of Eden mode Titan Foot stomp in Master mode will deals 2,072.75 points of damage on a six second recharge even with ambrosia Titan Prism Blast in Master mode will deals 1,076.25 points of damage on a four second recharge even with ambrosia If you don't finish the titan off in one ambrosia your chances drop dramatically. Someone, like me, always forgets to click a new one in time.
  11. *ding* *ding* You are the winner. Those are special swarms that hit you with the long sting.
  12. Only one out of six runs I have seen the long duration sting. Very weird. The one run we had multiple people get hit with the long sting. I'll have to figure this out, once I have the masters out of the way.
  13. So far, all deaths have been from the titan. Generally, a lapse in ambrosia insp or one missed heal is the cause. The titan ranged attack is bad enough with the weakened ambrosia all by itself. Today's MO score is 1/4. I still need the badge for two more characters. I am going to have lots of runs to improve my strategy. The first group's two runs we ignored the Quarry GM w/o issue. One death by titan ranged attacked. The second run was the only successful one today. Second group, ignore Quarry the second run, both times one player got killed by the titan ranged attacks.
  14. The IOs I always get: Celerity for stealth Preventative medicine - absorb proc Miracle/Numina/Panacera health pieces for regen/recovery Luck of the gambler global recharge piece, several usually Gladiator's Armor/Steadfast protection +3% defense each
  15. It's Eden trial week and I am trying to get my master badges. So, I am running it a lot. I noticed on the last run several of us got hit with Sting. It a heavy -fly power which is fine until you look at the duration, five minutes. Makes me think that someone added an extra zero to the duration. There is another version of the power that only last 10 seconds. Short sting. Not sure which mob produces the long version. The five duration is annoying because the titan is so nasty now that you need to fly to stay out of the foot stomp. So, we have sit there for several minutes waiting for it to wear off. Several of us had 2-3 stack which ones last five minutes. Has the long version always existed? Which mob uses it?
  16. I have a level 50 poison defender, which I don't play anymore. Issue one, completely subjective. Poison's effects are non very obvious, except for poison trap. So, I feel like I am not doing much. Second issue, probably still subjective, high level game play. At higher levels mobs are physically spread out in many missions. This make it difficult to defensively debuff toHit. Unlike, for instance, trick arrow which has flash arrow. I need to move into melee range to be safe, but there are mobs not effected by my debuffs launching AOEs. Make for a constant anxiety about if I should be at range or in melee which kills the fun. I haven't though about poison in awhile. So, I don't have any suggestion at the moment.
  17. Well, in that case the build is 801.5 certified. Though I want to try and clear it once.
  18. I now consider this build 801.2 4x8 certified. Completed the mission, Time: 1:43, Deaths: 1. No super inspirations No temp powers No base buffs Though given the time is took. I doubt I complete a 801.5 under the 2 hour limit. I'll give it a try with base buffs and other aids. Off to work on a Fort tank. Current build:
  19. I am confused. You're talking about the mob widows or player widows? If you're talking about mobs, then psychic blast isn't the most annoying power. Smoke grenade, now there is an annoying mob power compared to the player version. Unlike the player version, the perception debuff doesn't cancel when taking damage. But I digress.
  20. @Gulbasaur is an excellent source of Fort builds. Kunil also posted one to this thread. Weirdly I cannot find my current build. I'll post it tomorrow.
  21. Forts are fricking awesome. The only problem is deciding which powers to use, because most of them are good. One the ATs that really benefits from being able to have multiple builds.

    801 Blaster

@Linea Created a incredible set of AE missions that test the limits of tanks primary, but any AT could use them to test the extreme limits of their builds. Has anybody run these with their blasters? I know Linea has an water/rad blaster build I would love to see.
  23. I play my Bane a lot, which can heavily debuff toxic resists. So, I am very interested in mobs with weakness to toxic. Zero resistance is nice, but there is one important group of mobs that are weak to toxic. Goldbrickers have -20% resistance to toxic. Side note, another group with useful weakness that many people don't know about. Carnies are weak to lethal, -20% again. My Widows enjoy shredding them.
  24. I have a personal hate on for Psychic Scream. The cone is too narrow, except the Sentinel version, and the cast time is ridiculous. Most of my hate comes from it being the Night Widow T9. The live devs thought it a good idea to give a semi-squishy melee AT an attack that doesn't work well in melee and anchors the player in place for almost three seconds as their T9. 😞
