Hi guys! I read the with great interest the Duck-Smokes-Quack MA/SR feedback topic seeing how the feedback went for that set. I'm wondering what changes if any(or the same changes suggested) I would want to make for Uriah Heep my kat/sr scrapper. first draft below. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

after dropping calling the wolf my defenses are at 44.8% melee 47% ranged and 43% aoe. Divine avalanche gives me a melee defense buff to help with defense debuffs. how does this look? I also added medicine pool for aid self to help with surviveability.

I was going to say if you did want to keep taunt the power pool version provoke is (sadly) actually more useful.  There is also the option of taking the melee hybrid incarnate ability that has a taunt aura included.

Softcaps all positions, gives you 61% smashing and lethal resistance, 172.5% (makes your attack chain seamless with Musculature no Agility needed.) Hasten is very close to perma, this should be survivable, you have Panacea procs and some decent regen and the absorbs in your auto along with good recovery and end discount power if things get hairy. You should probably take Barrier and once you do that, you will get more resistance (tougher).

If I'm reading this right, you aren't using both +3% def uniques?

I thought I was the only one. Maybe the Gladiator's Armor in Tough was supposed to be the 3% Unique, instead?

And others to be added as I get them up to snuff, lol!

Hi guys! I read the with great interest the Duck-Smokes-Quack MA/SR feedback topic seeing how the feedback went for that set.

MIssed this on my first read! haha, I was glad to see so many people with feeling towards /SR scrappers in particular!

With your build I don't know a great deal about KA/ but if memory serves GC was always a part of the top tier DPS chains? I think it was GD > GC > SD > GC (rinse and repeat)

I know there are some who disagree with me but I would personally drop the leadership pool. The end cost with a fast attack chain + /SR toggles may just bee too great.
You can easily get to something 51% M/R/A with just SR + CJ + Weave (+ the 2 x 3% Def uniques)

I know its not the Isoftcap of 59%, but is it really worth it? When do we not have teammates in itrials? They can make up the final % to get to 59%  (or just carry some purples)

I think Aid Self would benifit /SR immensly (particularly since "survivability" seems to be your main concern)

Its interesting how similar KA/SR and MA/SR look on paper build wise. I suppose /SR is quite limiting for builds and doesnt leave a great deal of wiggle room

Still need to get Mids' updated and not be posting from a phone but couple questions.  What's your regen rate and your net end recovery?  First thing that strikes me is your passives aren't well slotted.  They are where 2 important defensive/survivability things come.  Your defense debuff resistance and scaling damage resistance.  Don't neglect them..  Back later when I got some downloads done and can get on the desk top

Got the current Mids' and put your last build in.  2 issues both related to the questions in my last post.  First is your net end recovery.  I would definitely recommend working to improve your end recovery.  I'd be looking for 2.5+ net.  Under 2 is likely to leave you fighting your end bar as much as your foes.  I'd also recommend working on your regeneration rate.  Particularly if you want to take on large higher level mobs.  Some of both issues would be helped by getting the TF accolades adding to both your max end and max health.  But ultimately you'll need set bonuses for end recovery and max health.  Seems like the obvious thing to do but I would not look to set bonuses for defense.  As an SR you can get to the soft cap without set bonuses.  Use the the set bonuses for gaining +regen, +max health and +recovery if hard to defeat is the goal.  That's how my main got to over 2100 health, regen over 30 and net recovery of around 2.7.

Concept build but working my way towards completing it.

Why bother with divine avalanche on an SR?

Divine Avalanche increases your melee and lethal defense with each successful hit and stacks for scrappers and brutes.  Tankers are unable to stack the buff but that just means they can keep the initial buff active (I don't have the numbers handy) permanently during combat provided DA is fired off every time it recharges. This makes it easier to reach the soft cap for melee and lethal while in combat.

The real question is why wouldn't you use it?

Well I would almost certainly have it while leveling or if I did a lot of exemplar work.  If I'd still have it for the endgame it would depend on what sets and their bonuses I was aiming for.   The problem is SR's defenses are positional which lethal is not.  I'd rather not have to depend on a power to get me capped to a single position which requires active use.  That is problematic.

Because SR can easily softcap without it.  Especially if you use both of the 3% def uniques.

I might use it while leveling, but tbh you could be softcapped for Melee in the 20s.  SR also is essentially immune to def debuffs.  And those slots could go elsewhere.

I would of course use it for any other secondary.

I suppose the lethal could give you some limited protection against AOE.  Since SR on scrappers has an idiotic level progression.
