Skyhawke Posted Thursday at 12:28 PM Posted Thursday at 12:28 PM Go to Kings Row, hop off the tram and go South. You'll pass Vazh and Skulls, but you'll get to an area crawling with low level Lost. Turn on Sprint to make getting to each spawn faster and go to town with the Lost cure rod. Takes 5ish minute (depending on recharge buffs) to finish that mission. Sky-Hawke: Rad/WP Brute Alts galore. So...soooo many alts. Originally Pinnacle Server, then Indomitable and now Excelsior
Zombra Posted Friday at 02:19 AM Posted Friday at 02:19 AM (edited) My move is to look for bridges/overpasses in Kings Row. There are several that the Lost like to hang out under. Also, on the subject of zone hunts, I honestly feel like a lot of spawns have been moved around since the retail days. There are plenty of contacts who say stuff like "the B-Furies hang around in North Park, go hunt them there", and then you go to North Park and there are absolutely no B-Furies within a mile, ever. I spent literal hours* last year combing the neighborhoods I was told to check, with a success rate lower than I would have got from sheer random chance. Not sure if spawns were redistributed at some point back in the day, or the Homecoming reformat messed things up somehow, but if your contacts tell you where to look within a zone for your targets, you should completely ignore what they say. *Not like all at once 🙂 Edited Friday at 02:20 AM by Zombra

BlackSpectre Posted Friday at 07:46 PM Posted Friday at 07:46 PM (edited) OK! I was able to grab all the spreadsheet data out of that file I mentioned previously, and am thinking about doing something with it. The Excel file came from VidioTmaps way back in 2005. There have been quite a few game updates since then, so the data may be a little sketchy now, but according to this the lost can be found in these neighborhoods in Kings Row: Neighborhood Enemy Level Industrial 6-8 King Garmet Wroks 6-8 Royal Refinery 6-8 High Park 9 P.S. I just went flying around Kings Row to validate this data, and it'' at least partly true. I found lost here: Industrial Ave - south-west of marker near wall [-723.3 -42.0 3099.6] and south-east [-1053.3 -42.0 2966.6] King Garmet Works - South-east of marker near green line on map map [718.6 -34.2 1885.6] Royal Refinery - Didn't find any here High Park - South-West corner [1137.8 -42.0 -1874.0] Freedom Plaza - Due East of marker [-1457.3 1.3 1955.1] But yeah, still hard to find without coordinates. I mean, there might be some in Royal Refiners, but I didn't find any... Whenever I do a full zone map overhaul for vidiotmaps, I do a reasonable number of full zone surveys using demorecord and parse the results to get a statistical breakdown of what mobs are where and at what level, so that I can update the critter notation on the map. I've only done a full overhaul on 10 zones so far, but Kings Row is one of them. Here is what I found for The Lost: Freedom Plaza: 5-7 Industrial Avenue: 7-9 Aqueduct: 9-11 High Park: 12-15 The current in-game KR vidiotmap will reflect this as well. I'll also note that for the 10 zones I have done so far, most if not all have had significant changes to their critter notation, so I would definitely reference that historic vidiotmap critter data with caution. 1 Popmenus > Badge List | Optimal Paths | Conversion Possibilities | Emotes Wiki Pages > Costume Color Schemes | Set Bonus Comparison Tables Maps > Vidiotmaps | Optimal Paths | Halloween GM Maps | Winter Gift Maps | Offline Map Viewer Sounds > Banshee Sonic Attack Datasets > Recipe Salvage Components | Badge Name & Settitle ID | Exploration Badge & History Plaque Coordinates

Wow, that's very cool. I have yet to mess around with demo recording or demo records, but that sounds very cool. ATC, I didn't know you were going around updating critter locations too! Dang, you're busy! 🙂 31 minutes ago, AboveTheChemist said: I've only done a full overhaul on 10 zones so far, but Kings Row is one of them. Here is what I found for The Lost: "Only". Heh. Will do, and thanks for doing this ATC. You're the best! AboveTheChemist Posted Friday at 09:17 PM Posted Friday at 09:17 PM Thanks for the kind works BlackSpectre. It only seemed logical that if I was updating badge info and other stuff on the maps, I may as well update the critter notation too. Thank goodness for demorecord, though. I shudder to think how long manual surveys might take. With regard to your edit above, I never found a single Lost in Royal Refinery or King Garment Works in the five surveys I did. Which isn't definitive, of course, and I adhere to the neighborhood boundaries on the map quite closely, but I would be surprised to find many in either place regularly and/or in appreciable numbers. BlackSpectre Posted yesterday at 05:29 AM Posted yesterday at 05:29 AM Just to doublecheck, @AboveTheChemist... I went back, thumbtacked the location of the lost I found in King Garment Works in KR (it's marked with a red X below), and took a pic. Yep, they not within the yellow boundaries of the King Garment Works, they're in Industrial Ave. Your data is good! 2 Black Spectre - A Dark Defender's Home on the Web • The Advanced Bind Guide • The Masters of BAF: A Guide for Leaders and Players • The Wiki List of Slash Commands

BlackSpectre Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) BTW, the largest concentration of of Lost in Kings Row is in the South-West corner of the High Park neighborhood against or nearly against the East wall going North. Approximate coordinates [1459.703125 -42 -1810.34375]. They're also level 12-14 in that area.
