So many amazing costumes! I love the creativity these contests unlock. So many of my favorite toons originated from these contests!

 

Would there ever be opportunity for the community to be a part of the contest themes? It would be great to get the chance to suggest or vote on theme selection.

 

I don’t know if they happened before I started playing again, but it would be so fun to do “It Came From Outer Space” or “Under the Sea”.

 

A black superhero theme for February, a women’s theme for March, and a pride theme for June would also be cool inclusive, celebratory, and timely themes.

According to Wikipedia this is the definition of color theory although the concept is much more broad than this:

Quote

"Color theory is a body of practical guidance to color mixing and the visual effects of a specific color combination. There are also definitions (or categories) of colors based on the color wheel: primary color, secondary color, and tertiary color."

However, there is a section about Monochromatic colors:

Quote

"The monochromatic formula chooses only one color (or hue). Variations of the color are created by changing the value and saturation of the color."

Don't forget that this cc is about using ONE main color, along with shades of said color so this technically fits under a small subset of color theory. One major caveat is that minor accent colors are allowed in this cc. However calling this a color theory themed cc is a bit too broad as color theory is a bit more complex than it actually seems, when it's technically a Monochromatic themed cc. Nonetheless definitions don't matter as long as everyone had fun and that's all that matters in the end. Congrats to the winners!

That costume 6 pose helps it to win, I think. I wonder what the others would look like in that pose?

 

Also the choice of background is very good, and the angle of the shot is important, too. Good composition overall.

Wow I didn't realize this was a thing or I would've been playing along.

The only down side to being the guy hosting "all teh contestz"

is you never get to participate in any for yourself.

Agreed. I have been running something similar

for the last few months myself (which ends this weekend!),

except the prizes are drawings of your character, in art and multimedia.

How many have you done? Are they happening in the game cuz I've only seen a few on the forums so far? I'm not complaining or anything (I was pumped to win one week of the CCC myself) just curious if I am missing out?
