Someone forming an ITF was looking for a Tank in one instance. I asked to join with my Scrapper instead and was denied, so I just ended up doing a solo run in less time instead. 

I get that all the time. Some people are too rigid with team requirements on easier content, it’s annoying. Some tougher content may require a bit of selectiveness, but if I can solo it, then odds are I’d be fine on the team.

 

But I agree on solo runs. Most challenging thing I’ve done in the game thus far is doing TF’s solo. You learn a lot about game mechanics, and what works on your class and what needs improving.

Well thats certainly a good time. Did you use Ultimates throughout most of the TF? That's faster than most teams do it.

Yeah, used ultimates throughout the entirety. Can definitely be improved upon; got the level shift glitch on the roof portion of the second mission which cost me about 15 seconds.

Really any server works, just gotta find people on the same page. I can't say for certain, but it feels like most speedrunners are on Torchbearer, or Excelsior. I myself play on Indomitable.
