Architect01 Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Quick question, is the build a respec build, where you kind of put the slots in wherever, or do you not slot your attacks until that late? I'm following your build so far, but feel like throwing some ACC in the attacks, I hate missing.

Andferne Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 What are peoples thoughts on running the Patron arc and replacing Conserve Power with Superior Conditioning? I don't remember that power, how do you get it? It is from the villain side of epic pools. You can run the Patron arc to switch over from having Body Mastery to having Energy Mastery. The only difference I remember is that it changes Conserve Power for Superior Conditioning. It increases your max endurance but would allow for you to slot another Performance Shifter with +end, or more depending on how many slots you put there. The world still needs Heroes

Murcielago Posted May 30, 2019 Author Posted May 30, 2019 One of the issues I seem to be facing is that I really have no design intent for my build. I'm trying to maximize EVERYTHING while trying to have little to no downsides. Anyone hit perma-soul drain yet?

No enhancement boosters used yet, so I may try that next and see where it leaves me. One purple set used, could potentially slot 2 more once I have the money.

Scrappers don't have access to Energy Mastery; that's a Brute and Tanker pool, and it's different for both ATs. Tankers, like Scrappers, get Conserve Power. Similarly, Stalkers get Superior Conditioning in their version of Body Mastery (even though it's still called Body Mastery). This is linked to AT, not alignment. Andferne Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 This is from one of the old CoH wiki. (Note that with Issue 18/Going Rogue's side-switching, only characters with villain or rogue alignments can unlock Patron Power Pools. However, after unlocking the pools, they remain as legal choices even if the character then changes alignment away from villain or rogue, and can be respec'd into and out of at will.) From the guide that someone wrote here on these message boards. You can go to Aribiter Rein as either a villain or a rogue and start that quest line. The last mission of that quest line will reward a badge. Once you have earned that badge you should be able to switch your Body Mastery into Energy Mastery. Therefor getting superior conditioning instead of conserve power. I have not personally gotten to test this out yet due to summer schedule. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,2292.0.html The world still needs Heroes
Murcielago Posted May 31, 2019 Author Posted May 31, 2019 Finally filled my set build. Been able to make some INF selling super dyne to college kids so now I need to start saving up and buy the Incarnate build. Below is my set IO build that I am currently running. I am amazed at how much cheaper the market is compared to 7 years ago. This build cost me 100m INF and back that it would have been five times that. No. You're misunderstanding: Patron Power Pools are connected to an arch-villain (Scirocco, Mako, Ghost Widow, or Black Scorpion) and require a quest to unlock as the thread describes. One of the requirements for the quest is to be a villain. Ancilliary Power Pools are available to anyone, and require no quest. In both cases, you only have access to whatever pools are linked to your Archetype, as described on the pages linked above. So a heroic Stalker doesn't need to change sides or do a quest to get access to Superior Conditioning in their version of Body Mastery, but a villainous Scrapper will only ever have Conserve Power no matter what they do. Shivinski Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Hey just made a couple changes to the slots. Brought the Melee/Range/AOE closer to 45% softcap. Added a poor attempt at +recharge on shield charge to hopefully try to get a proc for perma-haste. (roughly 4 chances to proc per haste cycle) Added a slot to Shadow Maul to add Superior Critical Strikes +50% crit proc. I'm not 100% certain how this works, but if someone could let me know that would be awesome! It was between that one and the other Scrapper ATO crit enhancement. Oh I almost forgot, I replaced the Gambler's Luck Def/End enhancement in Combat jumping with the Kismet 6% accuracy enhancement as well. Inphinity Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 I'm honestly not a fan of body mastery on DM/Shield. With dark consumption on a roughly 40 second cooldown in my build I have never found myself needing extra end on top of the 3.14/s (Not counting PS proc) I'm getting already. Was running fire mastery for a bit for fireball but ultimately settled on soul mastery. Shadow Meld makes for a great "Oh Sh!t" button against things that lower defense or in incarnate trials.

Murcielago Posted June 3, 2019 Author Posted June 3, 2019 May I ask, why are your Enhanecments lvl 30? I do a lot of exemplar-ing so I keep most of set bonuses all the way down to L23.

You might want to consider the attuned variants of the enhancements. As far as I know, attuning a set IO causes it to level up and down with you within the limits of the IO set so you keep the set bonuses as low as possible while also getting full enhancement values at level 50. They're also available in the AH at no extra cost because the "bucketing" feature allows you to buy one if the corresponding IO of any level is put up for sale. I thought AIOs and very rare sets were attuned.
