I decided to try my villain posing as a hero, Dr. Rebellisch, next.

Results weren't that good, I'm omitting some. It didn't understand the "goggles over mask" part. No ice gloves, either. And rendering strained my rig much more than it did with other characters, depending on the model.

The anime model was the only one that actually gave him tech gloves. So I had the idea of using it to inpaint parts of other images. But it failed. Too bad.

what site did you use?

I learned something new about KREA today. During the generation process you do not need to use Quick Enhance to end up with clear, upscaled results. In fact, not using Quick Enhance can leave you at a result you prefer over what Quick Enhance will produce. The downside of this is the details will remain fuzzy until you upscale an image.

I started from this screenshot:

From: image.thumb.jpeg.36f76b778a050018311dccdac3e9de3b.jpeg To:image.thumb.jpeg.46cbc42acc7967a61ccbbe0e499e4ffb.jpeg

Edit:

You don't even need to use the Generation interface at all beyond uploading your image. Upscale it and use the options presented on the Upscale panel. True, you get no feedback on what things will look like, but you can repeatedly tweak and upscale directly.

Used the Bing thing to try to recreate Flaminatrix, my fire/fire/fire blaster. I like this one the best so far:

athletic human female, long orange hair, entire body made of orange flame, superhero, shooting flames from hands

Prompts: athletic human female, long orange hair, entire body made of orange flame, superhero, shooting flames from hands

It seemed to have trouble with "entire body made of orange flame" - one image showed a skinless body with detailed orange musculature. The "costume" I'm trying to show uses the "Spectrum" costume parts which, combined with her various flame auras, make her look like she is actually made out of fire. So I don't want an actual fabric costume showing. But I suspect I would need to specify "nude" in there, so that probably doesn't fly.

I added "Caucasian" and "large goggles", and got this nice one:

athletic Caucasian human female, long orange hair, entire body made of orange flame, superhero, large goggles, shooting flames from hands

Added, "orange and red costume" and "flame insignia on chest":

athletic Caucasian human female, long orange hair, entire body made of orange flame, superhero, orange and red costume, flame insignia on chest, large goggles, shooting flames from hands

Decided to add "cel shaded" and "comic book", and wow, this one came up with almost the exact chest insignia she uses on her non-Spectrum costumes:

athletic Caucasian human female, long orange hair, entire body made of orange flame, superhero, orange and red costume, flame insignia on chest, large goggles, shooting flames from hands, cel shaded, comic book. Image 4 of 4

Pretty great results from such a simple prompt.

Tried out Betty Beatdown:

Caucasian, female, black hair, two ponytails, heavy black eye makeup, superhero, chainmail, war mace, no cape, steel breastplate, chainmail miniskirt, steel boots

I tried to refine it further, but Bing started telling me it violated their terms and conditions. Specifically, after it generated this image, I inserted "red and white" in front of "breastplate", and that apparently did it. I tried changing "breastplate" to "chestplate" and then "cuirass", but no go. And it seems to have ignored my "no cape".

I get that all the time and it’s genuinely baffling because it will generate a picture with no problem and then refuse to, despite it being the exact same prompt. I just keep pushing the button until it produces again. Sometimes after a half-dozen refusals I go back to the last time it rendered and then click Create. That usually unjams it. No idea why it does that.

Spooky season round-up. I didn’t write down the prompts but you’re smart, you can figure them out; I believe in you.

The first one is great!  Very TRON-esque.

The second and third ones:  Please tell me this is one of your characters and that her name is Jacquie Lantern or maybe Jaqueline Tern.  😉

Sadly, every version of Jackie Lantern/Jacklyn Tern I tried was taken. But yes, that was my intent. 😁

Back in the day I had a dogman named “Jackal Lantern”. I might revive him.

….hmm, I didn’t try “Jacky Lantern”. Oh well, I have enough alts as it is.

I was messing around with the prompt “oil painting, a _______ princess in the style of Albert Joseph Pénot”, slotting in things like orc, Amazon, alien, etc. when I got a good vampire princess. I can show the others if anyone wants to see them.
