Anne Marie Passing of a Queen

Today I learned that Anne Marie passed. A fellow Guardian, a fellow Slacker, and a true warrior. 

 

Raven Evermoon fought her last fight, a courageous person that always could make me smile. One of the founding members of the Slackers during Live and a good friend. Long after the game went dark Raven stayed a friend and she always had a way of making the darkest day seem  as bright as the sun with encouraging words while I was battling cancer. 

 

You will be missed deeply.

This is the forum I find so important, but I hate it when there's a new entry.

 

I saw Sovereign and several others holding torches in Excelsior's Oroboros today.  With one of them I noted a comment on Anne Marie.

I am saddened to hear about Anne's passing.  I didn't know her well, but had the pleasure of teaming with her many a time over the last few years on various TFs.  She was among the select few I kept on my global friends list and I always admired her cleverly named characters.  She was helpful, knowledgeable and fun to be around.  I know she had a large group of friends here who I am sure will miss her deeply.

Damn this is sad.  The problem with getting older is seeing your friends and family pass away.

I only spoke in the Guardian channel  occasionally with her, was a nice person to chat with. RIP Anne, sorry for your loss

Didn't know her but I played some TF in her company.
As @Bionic_Flea said, its always sad to see brothers/sisters in arms leaving us.

I had heard of her passing through mutuals on Facebook, then hopped on and held a torch in her honor.  She was an amazing person. we teamed up a lot back in the live days as well as on homecoming. If anyone was feeling lonely in chat, she'd stop what she was doing and team up with that person, or invite the lonely person to join in on the mirth of the moment.  

I've just recently returned (again) to fight the good fight, and I still find myself checking Guardian Chat daily to see if either of her accts are logged in and then... OH , RIGHT, DERP , she's not there.  but I still hold many of our conversations over the decades to heart. (and yes, I was one of those aforementioned 'lonely people', cuz after my divorce in 2008, she was one of my metaphorical in-game shoulders to lean on and help distract me from the depression of it all).   

She is well missed.  ❤️
