Zhym Posted Sunday at 03:58 PM Posted Sunday at 03:58 PM Is there supposed to be a way to win the Nemesis version of this? I've played it a few times now, gotten the badge and the...other thing (in case we're still treating that as a spoiler). But every time, including the time we defeated everyone (including the bosses and lieutenants), I got the "Mission Failed" message. Is there any sequence of actions that would lead to a mission success?

The devs are aware of it and fixed it internally, but it hasn't gone live yet (shouldn't be too long). .

Just to be clear, though, I'm not talking about an early fail (unless by "early" you just mean "before the timer runs out"). In the missions I'm talking about, we didn't get kicked out of the mission until all the AVs and Heroes were defeated.
ZacKing Posted Sunday at 04:08 PM Posted Sunday at 04:08 PM This is A LOT of fun! The Nemesis wedding is a very fun fight. My one and only gripe about this event is the placement of the NPCs in Pocket D. It's next to impossible to access the NPCs and Crystal due to people camping the location. Maybe next year this can be moved out onto the floor someplace where there's more room. 1

High_Beam Posted Sunday at 05:13 PM Posted Sunday at 05:13 PM I am gonna say this here and now; this adding of the SInclair/Tillman wedding is brilliant. I played on live but missed the event so there's that to start with. Second unlike some of the other events lie Banners in Halloween, or Lord Winters Realm, you can do the event yourself. Oh that isn't saying it wont be a challenge but it can be done. But the team fun is also fun. New badges are nice and to be quite honest the first non grindy badge hunt in a while (I am looking at you Toy Collector). Its funny too cause between the mega cringe vows and the ultra cringe tux costumes of some of the participants (Synapse ever the fool), I laugh. And to boot, the fact that Villain Disruptor/Cape Killer pops is a total bonus. The chaos fight is awesome and with a minimum of effort you can at least snap up three badges solo and depending on your AT, more. Just great fun. You don't even have to do anything but click Posi and haul tail and hang out by the door... Manti and Pschye can clear the mish on their own without any player intervention. It's boring as heck and takes 15-20 mins, but it can be done. Also, by setting the wrong mish on a team this morning, discovered that a team exemped down to lvl 11 can still complete this mish pretty easily. @Cobalt Arachne You really nailed this one but good. Speaking of the main floor, what's with the sudden appearance of that pad not far off the left side of the screen from where this was shot? It doesn't seem to do anything yet, and I didn't catch anything in the patch notes about it.
Dogooder Posted Monday at 08:29 PM Posted Monday at 08:29 PM For some reason, pacifist (not fighting) soloing with a lower level toon has always taken longer than with a higher level toon. Today has been odd as the mobs seem much tougher. A 22 lvl Psi/Mental solo (fighting) took near or over 35 mins to complete. Before that match this lvl 22 toon had been passively watching in a prior match which lasted over 30 mins before I was mapserved. The mobs mopped the floor with my 38 lvl Brute (with a Psi team mate), it was just throwing a punch or two then mezzed then defeated. Rise and repeat.

I've been doing some with some level 10-23 characters in a triple box setup and today it was interesting. A tanker (level 22), a brute (level 21), and a level 17 tanker. (barely slotted with SOs) just going in starting the fight and letting them fight. After I made my coffee and noted that Manti & Sister were still fighting. Sister was tanking BS to the side while Manti had a bunch of villains with the three gun bunnies doing healing. I carefully separated them and got all the other healers. After that the rest fell quickly and then BS. Took 33 minutes. Another round with same tank & brute, but with a scrapper. Started the fight, and it took six minutes to complete with no interaction from me. So definitely some variables.

Support toons works well, because they keep the audience alive. Yeah, I'm discovering the trollers and fenders have a pretty easy time of it if they're 20ish+ and have decent heals/buffs on hand. (MM's thinking like fenders/treating the audience as pets also do well.) 90% of keeping completion times down solo is (IMO) turning down the mish difficulty and keeping as much of the audience as possible alive through the first round of combat. EA with it's ranged group heals and buffs is a real standout in that respect. 1 Unofficial Homecoming Wiki - Paragon Wiki updated for Homecoming! Your contributions are welcome! KaizenSoze Posted Monday at 09:52 PM Author Posted Monday at 09:52 PM General advice to take out specific mobs which buff/support/heals to speed things up. There are three villains that drop triage beacon and at least one shield gen. Good news is that they have weak healers, Fallen something is the primary healer. Generally, fighting against the heroes is harder. As they have multiple good support sets. Ether needs to die quickly as she has both a single and AOE heal which she uses often. Holo man can really mess things up, because his phantom army will distract a lot of villains. This causes a lot of them to die or worse tie up one of the AVs, which leads to a lot of villains dying. In general once any mob uses it's T9, unless you're doing psi damage just ignore them and let the AV/Heroes take them out. I guess I should create a guide. 1 Night Pixie on Excelsior Introduction to Arachnos Widows - Night/Blood/Fortunata

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. BZRKR Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Is it easier to get "Officiator" on higher difficulty levels? I have had difficulty locating the dressed up signature Villains and Heroes in the crowds. Or, do you need to run the mission several times to get all of the signature Villains/ Heroes to spawn? Maybe you don't see all of them in a single run when it's +0/x1 ?

Otherwise, it's three per run, but it will pick from the most needed for your team. So at most, it will be five runs from scratch. (2 Blue to get the Red Sigs, 3 Red to get the Blue Sigs) For targetting, I you can use a targetting macro, but I tend to do some AOEs to tag them. 1
