Bug Report- Inaccessible Exploration Badge

In Warburg, the "Weapon of Mass Destruction / Weapon Inspector" badge is in accessible (visible in game), the closest I was able to get was "22 Ft." from the marker [/thumbtack -768.0 143.5 -0.0]. This makes the accolade and exploration badge unattainable at this time. 

 

When trying to get within the proximity of this badge, the character is forced away as if there is a building/structure colliding with the character.

 

Notes: Character alignment is Hero

I attempted to revisit this badge after triggering the zone event, no success at getting the badge either

I used the raptor pack and got within 19' which did get me the badge.

 

Pretty sure you could actually stand on the badge in the past, so it's a bit odd.  Able to get to  [-750.5 148.3 0.1]

The wiki talk page discusses this as being a problem in 2008, and nothing has changed on the map in 2+ years.  I've put in a suggestion to possibly move the badge to the ground in basically the same place.

I rarely bother with the badges in the PvP areas, and I think the last ones that got it had their own flight. (Or were before the change to temp powers)

 

Did note that the raptor pack is supposed to last 2 minutes, it lasts 45 seconds.   (I put a bug into discord on that)

 

update: And apparently the PVP timers were reduced, but the text had not been updated.

By coincidence, I came to the forum to see if there was a post of a list of entrances to the web in warburg and the search brought up this post.  It seems like there are maybe only one or two entrances?  It seems very tedious leading scientists out.

 

But to this topic:  I just got all the exploration badges with no problems.  I think the one you're talking about was maybe on a girder if I remember.  But it works.  Maybe the wiki's thumbtack is in the wrong spot.

The wiki thumbtack is exactly accurate, I verified it against my badge location dataset.

 

I was able to get within 17 feet of the badge marker using a character with fly. There appears to be some sort of exclusion bubble around the rocket that prevents players from getting any closer. I don't do PvP so I don't know if there is lore or a reason behind that but another option (besides outright moving the badge, which doesn't seem necessary) might be to reduce the size of that exclusion bubble.

Like @AboveTheChemist said, there is an exclusion bubble there, but you can still get to 17 feet away which awards the badge. Just checked on a character that doesn't have the badge and got it with no problems. It even awarded before I got to 17 feet away.
