So, I should have probably asked this question years ago. But I never did. 

As I monitor the help channel, people ask what's the quickest patron, or easiest. BS is usually the reply. And some will add on to auto-complete the kill all. Me, I normally auto-complete the "Assault Malta Base" mission because I never asked the following question. 

The wiki mentions the Zeus class titan and and the gunslinger as part of the objectives. When on 0/1 difficulty, it's simple to find the Zeus. But there are multiple gunslingers. Is there a trick to knowing which one? 

I should add, normally I look for the gunslinger that gives dialogue. But this morning, none of them did, only the Zeus. There's like 23-25 goons in the kill all, vs 6 or so gunslingers, and the pesky sappers with them. Seems like a wash to me, when the gunslinger isn't talking. Unless there's some trick?

It's the Gunslinger that has a dialog reply when attacked ("You lookin' for Quatrexin? Sorry, but he's shipped his new power armor to Paragon City for a bit of field-testing! Of course, I cannot allow you to reach him!"). Usually you can find bosses that are objectives at the end of the map/on the last floor, so if you can jump to the end, you can start working backwards from there.

 

That's a little tricky with Malta because there's no real visual distinction between Lt. Gunslingers and boss Gunslingers, which I think may be part of the point.

Turn bosses on while solo.  It will be the sole boss Gunslinger in the mission.

And out of the blue, that sparked the mental image of the Kronos titan as a hard-light hologram costume, and the nightmare of trying to manage a GM-sized  character in standard corridors in door missions.

The gunslinger will have his spiel if he sees you.  If you're fully pve-invis he won't.  What I've taken to doing is just being seen by a gunslinger to see if he talks or not.  If no, just move on.

 

Defeating the Titan, by the way, is NOT a requirement.  The wiki merely mentions him as a "notable NPC" not an objective.  I always leave him alone if I'm speeding.

Good eye for detail on the wiki. Yeah, I always have a Celerity: stealth in most of my characters that aren't stalkers or other inherently stealthy types. That would explain why he didn't say anything.

This should be a lesson to me to not be afraid to ask questions when I'm a new player. But back then, I was so ignorant, I didn't even know what I didn't know.

Having looked into all the patron arcs for the badge to access patron pools, I think they're all about the same and all of them have a good mission to skip to save time- running them all on 0/1 is also a good idea (Mako's last mish is cake on this setting).
