Focused Feedback: Issue 28, Page 2 - New Badges

Went and found the exploration badges in Kallisti Wharf, and the Tip System worked as expected and I got the accolade.  Have some thoughts on some of the wording, but it's late and I'm tired and want to think on it a bit.

The title for the exploration tips is "Blacking Industries Data Chit".  Guessing that should be "Blackwing" instead based on reading the text under it.

"Understand" in the last sentence should likely be "understanding"



I get what you're trying to say here - the gas station becomes the property of the City.  But property doesn't "become" eminent domain, it's "purchased under" eminent domain [for a reason].  (Eminent domain is the ability of the government to force a property owner to sell the property to the government because the government is going to build a school, a new sewer plant, or some other public good.)

Just finished Dap Dap's arc, thought I got all the bonus objectives,  but apparently not.  Anyone obtain Brass Tax badge for the bonuses?

 

1. I clicked the glowie to make a name for myself,  then ran the 2 to the door to escape but did not take down the 3rd security chief, mission ended anyway.

 

2. Freed all hostages on the Rikti map, negotiated the WarLord then decided to fight him, then found and rescued the captive.

 

3. Freed all 3 on the last mission and took them to the lab and defeated the ambushes.

 

EDIT: okay ran the arc again, corrected a few courses of action from the first run.  Brass Tax badge obtained.

I don't know.  I'm seeing take 2 steps forward, 1 step back and I think...still going forward.

Also, doesn't seem so bad since the few times I've tried for the badge it took some serious time.

I should probably hide my previous post; the MoM spawning changes weren't posted with the rest of the patch notes initially, so it just seemed like more stuff you had to get via RNG.  I still think the way the badge is earned is franging stupid, mind.  But I do agree with you that, in light of what else they did (and didn't initially advertise), it's a step (a very small step, but still) towards being mildly less franging stupid.

I mentioned this elsewhere, but the exploration badges are not hooked up to update the Fast Travel accolade's LRT Zone Check (just re-tested it today). When going in with somebody who didn't have the Shoulder of Giants badge before (and thus KW was locked), I could grab one of the other badges and the zone check still shows KW as grayed out. Actually using LRT, however, KW was now an option.
