• This power now applies a trawl (reverse repel) effect.
• Targets that are immune to the trawl effect will be phased.

It seems like it's some sort of fold space/ace cyclone effect. I haven't been on test to try it though.

Like Singularity, pulling mobs in.  I haven't spent any time with it so I don't know first-hand.  The feedback I've seen has been positive.

I haven’t tested it, but I took it to mean it pulls everything in and if it can’t be pulled in, it gets phased.

since that is what it says we give you a pass on reading comprehension and/or cut/paste skills...

 

but how does this actually WORK.  if anyone says drawn to you and /or phased i swear i will start depositing my corpses in your yard....

 

does this just pull minions/Lts and leave bosses/EBs standing there, phased, and screwing the team out of the same amount of time as it would have originally?  does this affect bosses EBs, and only AVs are phased, (but then will not be because of 12xreasons)

If you clone a vampire, is the clone undead too or created as the vampire was in life before becoming undead? And if it's still alive version, would a vampire have an aversion to drinking their own blood and/or turning their clones into vampire servants?

It works differently based on your character origin. So if you're magic, it's a magical black hole that draws mobs in or phases them.

 

If you're tech based, you toss a mini black hole generator and it draws mobs in or phases them.

 

If you're science based, you mix a couple vials together and it causes a reaction which creates a black hole that draws mobs in and phases others.

 

If you're a mutant, it gives you an ability which generates black holes every time you fart that draw mobs in and or phases them.

And lastly if you're natural, you're just hoping not to get drawn in and or phased yourself.

 

Personally I think they went a little overboard with breaking it up into five different ways to make a black hole. If it were me, I would pull in all mobile NPCs, while phasing stationary ones like turrets or hami, or such. I'll defer to you to test since you have to be inside during the day while the rest of us work. Just bring your laptop into your coffin.

IIRC there was also a dev note that, if you personally hate sparkly rainbows, the power does mag 100 knockback.

 It works one of two ways:

 

1) You target an enemy, activate the power, and it buffs Tank damage.

 

2) You target an enemy, activate the power, and for every foe in range of the effect either a) they get sucked into the middle or b) they are immune to repel and get phased instead.

Kinda gotta ask if I need to give YOU  accomodation for reading because it's pretty simple snark.

 

It pulls them in, if they cant be pulled they're phased. I'm really concerned you couldnt get that from the notes...

This leaves me unsure.  Not if your meaning, i understand Snark…

 

My question is about the effectiveness of the change.  Before the power is a hard pass for most of us.  It slows play and is rarely useful.  This sounds like they modified it to a ghetto fold space.  But how often/which types of mobs get phased instead of “trawled?”  Guess they really were trying to avoid sucked….   
 

I honestly do not have a lot of time in my schedule. I am gaming CoH quite a lot on my “every contact, every mission” project and 2xweek with Justice Superteamers.  Jumping on to test for hours of testing is not on my availability.  Then there is the matter of… what difference would it make.  No one is going to change things based on my input.
