Fergz99 Posted June 17 Posted June 17 (edited) before i go ahead and do my respec i was curious if anybody had any good slotting options? Are we still pumping everything into regen? playing dm/reg, also do we still need tough/weave and maneuvers? Edited June 17 by Fergz99
DocMidknight Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Going through the same thing.....I know I need to respec my dm/regen build but haven't quite figured out how yet. May just go the trial and error plan to see what works for him
lemming Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I redid my MA/Regen brute yesterday and did pumped a little extra into regen bonuses. (Standing regen at ~140, middle of combat before hitting some boosts is around 200/sec) Five Numina regen bonus and a smattering of other stuff. Interested to see a @Spaghetti Betty build. (I may be wrong, but a brute build should be similar to a scrapper build) 1

I still think Regen as a set is going to need all the help it can get as far as solo durability. Remember that soft control is tons better at helping Regen do it's thing over stuff like debuffs, which is why I personally avert from rolling DM as a pairing, but it can work! 1 1 Mainly on Excelsior. Nemu Posted June 18 Posted June 18 (edited) I see 2 paths. One that ignores passive regen other than instant healing and one that leans into it and takes reactive regen instead of instant healing. The former saves you a power pick (I wouldn't bother with fast healing), the latter will take everything in regen, and most likely supplement the passive regen by adding physical perfection (I'm going to guess that you can probably get around 100+hp/sec passive regen with this setup if you build for max HP and cram a few of those regen uniques/bonuses in). The optimal builds will still supplement either path with hasten and Rune of Protection + soft controls from attacks/pools/epics, but you need to make some sacrifices in power picks if you want to fit all those in now. I'd ignore passive regen, aside from the debuff resistance auto, which reduces some taxes on IOs that I need to invest in slow resistance, and 1 less skippable power in revive, nothing else has really changed. +rech/+slow resist/mitigation, those are still the build priorities Edited June 18 by Nemu Liberty, Torchbearer, Excelsior, Everlasting Jezebel Delias Level 50 Fire/Elec/Mace Blaster I am the Inner Circle!
Troo Posted June 19 Posted June 19 (edited) I looked through the Sentinel builds recently and nothing ground breaking. Mostly leaning into finding +Heal (4 slotting Numis). Traditionally +Rech was number one for me with Regen and Resist second and the Debuff resist for slows if possible. Now, for Scrappers, I might be likely to maximize MaxHP and Regen numbers while still looking for +Rech. Additional Resists could come from other means to let IO set bonuses help with priorities and offense. Chasing defense is still a trap. Regen is going to get hit, this is still the way. Brutes and Tankers may lean a bit more into capping or overcapping Resists as they may more easily cap MaxHP. Scrapper HP Cap ~2400 with ~150HP/s Regen and any significant Resistance is gonna be very tough and Scrappy. DocMidknight Posted June 19 Posted June 19 So I've come up with this for my DM/Regen scrapper.........kinda a mixed bag for right now but has done well on some testing. Not sure how I feel about it yet. Scrapperlock - Scrapper (Dark Melee - Regeneration).mbd

bAss_ackwards Posted Saturday at 07:08 PM Posted Saturday at 07:08 PM There were some updates for me. Just use Check for Updates in the menu and it should install one or two updates. Keep hitting update until there are none left. I did find some bugs, but I am sure those will be ironed out soon enough. 3 1 Former Paragon Studios QA - Redname Fireman Current and always Scrapper enthusiast

Personally, I tend to 5-slot Numina’s into all the Regen powers, but I see @Spaghetti Betty and others 5 slot Panacea’s. I’m guessing for the additional +Recharge rather than the slightly higher regen/health and S/L Resists you’d get from Numina’s. I don’t find myself lacking a full attack chain with Savage, and through other slotting I’ve gotten ~200% Recharge so Regen powers are up often enough. I did go the Arcane pool for RoP which I plan as my oh-crap button if I need to get some room for active regen of health. 1

Meknomancer Posted yesterday at 10:28 AM Posted yesterday at 10:28 AM I was thinking of this, not entirely happy with recharge bonuses but hoping it won't be an issue with the ff+rech in. Still looks squishy. CLAWS REGEN - Scrapper (Claws - Regeneration).mbd

Wonder what I can come up with. 🤔 FWIW I ended up with this: Scrapper - Kat_Regen IOed v2.mbd Above numbers are with one stack of Divine Avalanche and Reactive Regeneration set to 0. Doesn't need as much global recharge as before due to Instant Healing uptime not being a thing now; but it has just enough for a seamless Single Target attack chain GD > GC > SD > GC. At-will Melee Softcap (and that's without double stacking DA!) plus all that regeneration and MoG to fall back on keeps it ticking nicely. Debuff Resistance numbers with Ageless running aren't half bad either - I've definitely noticed the extra DDR from Ailment Resistance!
