Homecoming Server Update (October 1st): Halloween!

Hello!

 

It's October and Atlas is suddenly holding up a big pumpkin, so you must be asking, "When is Trick or Treat?!?!" I am pleased to announce that the Halloween event is being activated today, October 1st, and will run until November 4th. 

 

Your next question: "Did anything change this year?" No changes have been made to the event for this year; everything from last year's event post is still correct. The devs have been busy with other matters (not the pirates, different other matters) which we hope to be getting to you Very Soon™. What could be more terrifying than that?

 

In the interest of transparency, we would also like everyone to be aware we have lowered the player limit on Peregrine Island to 50 to make Trick or Treating a bit easier on everyone. We will keep an eye on this as it develops and see if it needs further adjustments.

Is it possible to add the zone number to Zone Event notifications?

does the limited capacity make Pi a raid zone rules wise when it comes to things like Multiboxing?
i wouldnt do it in a full(ish) zone either way but if there are like 20(ish) or even less people in the zone i would if allowed

i got contradicting informations about that and i want to have clarification

PI is not a "raid zone" for the purpose of multiboxing rules/restrictions. All other rules/restrictions still apply (no more than 3, or none at all on a shard when it's population is at or over 1,000/thee red dots, though this rule would mainly only affect Excelsior, maaaybe Ever & Torch at peak times).

As Widower said, we'll be monitoring things, so if we end up having to treat PI like a "raid zone", or make any other changes, we'll let people know as best we can.
