Gottagobro
I love making AoE focused builds which can solo large groups of mobs quickly. My level 50 toons are: Human form Warshade Spines/Fire brute Rad/Bio scrapper Archery/Ta blaster Fire/Psi dominator Tri Form Peacebringer (probably will respec to human only form) I just unlocked the final incarnate slot of my Fire/Rad sentinel and I would say it is one of the best ATs I've made so far Pros: 1. The epic power pool This is the main reason why this build works so well compared to scrapper/brute -Sentinel's have access to one of the best epic pool selections of any AT because of the AoE immobilize + AoE PBAoE ability (in this case fire cages/firesword circle) 2. Tanking -With the right IO sets this build is very close to my Rad/Bio scrapper in terms of tankiness and we focus alot on recharge to make sure meltdown has a short downtime. -This build has: Softcapped melee defense and 30% S/L defense along with very high resistances (75% res to all damage except ice and psi while meltdown is up) -Built-in mes protection, a heal, an absorption shield, and plenty of regen. 3. AoE Damage! -2 massive damage nukes with a 25 sec CD (ground zero and inferno) -3 short CD AoE's (fireball, fire sword circle, and fire cages) -perma hasten, 174% recharge + Spiritual core paragon 4. Single target -3 short animation moderate-high damage single target abilities which just melt everything. 5. End management -With no incarnates and 7 toggles this build can easily stay at full end while spamming abilities all day (gamma boost and particle shielding are actually insane) Cons: 1. No terrorize or confuse protection (not common forms of CC) 2. The dreaded sentinel target cap -All abilities can only hit 10 enemies at a time -To compensate for this I use fire sword circle and fireball to kill off ~5-7 minions, then inferno and ground zero to nuke the bosses and LT's -Also you should be able to tank (and immobilize) most mobs all day so you can just sit in the middle of a group and spam abilities till everything dies Video: Build: | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1454;694;1388;HEX;| |78DA6594D96F524114C6E7968BB50B5DA50B5D2994D202B7A03EB8C6A8B5466D931| |6D45782ED8837C10B0236F6D1475F8D0951EB96B8BE98E8DFE1FAA656DF8DDD3471| |4BB4E261BE233661C2CD8FFBCD9C996FCEB9339317C6EA1F1FBEB84F680D0753895| |C2E1E9356DEB464AA3A36634A6B468A52ABA6C7F5AF271E4D5849396B8C9B59193F| |4041F9FE72D7983C2DAD9C34A28959339137D3567C7FF66C3A2B9AA7D2E99471C49| |A3373E6293365E6E7EB9532211319D34AD6AA975846CA5987FA3B6E26CFD08C49D7| |A18C396394A7574B4ED28A323BDF419E06E9C9F804B7A22E160843BAA8BA0EEA05E| |655B0E91AF8C94FD4548C4D7CB50911A1986F60C70FD0F5137C324C4379AC76B94A| |695BDCE86B5B013D05E8E7C88B0D5EECB667BAD2363D67BE0037BF64BE026B5F834| |BE4C9CEEBD8D9938B3D75B3A76EF694F5A126A575AADFF03C6FC1FA45E63BB0E13D| |18FA009EA7D81AAC63AFB90BDF0DF7C09647BCBF87E0D07D70E401B84C1EEB10ABD| |56DE57CB593D0A30B071972A04F389C9AEAFB42E31BA15535C6A0352D21AE659973| |4871CD1CD7CC714F29E7ADACB57A84D206689C93D77606A0B53135EA6B473E447B9| |19AB091D2C9D9ECE46CF672F67A399BBD9C5D9DC676B1CB2E76E03D863EEFBA50BB| |5BA19DF4F0981E76EEFE0846A288B94499EDE3AAF4ED45C6FAF73077307782EE5DE| |0F06E7095E61FE0D8813BA894E736F306E85D007D37B9A2B7C02B7E9C84D209183C| |8EF97C2798535CC96966149C23AF7E8EF107D94B886970D5C3CC0858A080007B0C1| |4A105057210FCC5EFBFC1D03A38FA075CA35803F9D30DAEC328D76594EB11F9CE0C| |209F1EAA4B98BF82F022E6E9D6CBA79D7EA54A8F5428E10A2552A16CAB50B657281| |315CA94CED706299A526A9ACA27BEB8525BBE298416C297B9F65FD3B4A39ABA7DDC| |27B1BFD58DE3D56C9F372A7CA74CB712A015FF028755FD61| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|

Sovera
Aaaaah, Ground Zero! Yes, not quite quite a nuke I'd say, but more AoE is always welcome! Good show with this! The defense debuff and heal also make it better than fire sword circle along with its absurdly fast cast time (Pine's is totally wrong on the cast time. It should be 1.18 but Pine's shows 3.17). Destlin
would it not be better to skip the second power and pick up the first for the offensive op? What do you mean by this? If you don't take your first ability in fire blast you cannot proc offensive opportunity which makes you do more damage while it is up. If you only use the 2nd ability you can only proc defensive which is a very very small heal which you do not need.

plainguy
Very nice build.. Was just starting to work on this build type last night in Mids. You saved me a BUNCH of time working to get to the same results. SmalltalkJava
Yeah, this is pretty interesting. Last night I was going through pines to see if any sentinel secondaries had pbaoe damage abilities. I think its just /fire and /rad. I think there is some great pbaoe potential with /rad Edited August 16, 2019 by SmalltalkJava Baseline MM Henchmen Defenses and Resist Values MM - Beast Pets - Pet Attack usage and some quick proc testing
Pharce
Any way you could post your build in a different format. I still haven’t figured out how to open pines on my mac. I have a lvl 45 fire/rad iv’e been working on and would like to see how you built yours.

Pharce
Very cool build. Thanks. A question: why stealth and not maneuvers? It seems if we switched maneuvers with stealth, then we could drop super speed and add assault. That would give a 10% damage bonus. Of does that all suck too much end? This is not criticism just trying to figure out how I may make mine a little different.

I myself would take Maneuvers, but not Assault. Then throw a +stealth enhancement in sprint and keep Super Speed. That said, I've never been a number cruncher on Pine's, like some are. Crysis
I've been leveling this build, very much enjoy the tanki-ness of it. But I do have a question. Nowhere in Blazing Blast description does it say it does knockback. I'm not lvl 50 yet so I'm currently slotting it with 5xEntropic Chaos. I don't even see the ability to slot Knockback to Knockdown in it, although perhaps I could do so with Overwhelming Force proc. But is it SUPPOSED to be doing knockBACK because it does it almost 100% of the time.
Sovera
It is, and Overwhelming is the only way to mitigate it. - Simple guide for newcomers. - Money making included among other things. - Tanker Fire Armor: the Turtle, the Allrounder, the Dragon, and compilation of Fire Armor builds. - Tanker Stone Armor: beginner friendly (near) immortal Tanker for leveling/end-game and Stone Armor framework. - Brute Rad/Stone and compilation of Brute Stone Armor builds.
