  1. I got to week two and was like "kick her ass out" >.<
  2. So I just recently made the jump to a 120Hz 4k TV (that all my tech is connected to) and realized that I'm not sure what to adjust the game's GFX settings to. My build is still powered by an EVGA GTX 970 FTW (04G-P4-2978-KR) and while I don't Expect to see anything beyond 60Hz (based on the control panel), it would be nice to setup the game so that it's as smooth as it can be, even if some things get dialed down. I do have to admit that I haven't actually Played in quite a while, but I think a thread where people are sharing their optimized setups would be helpful to others.
  3. Well drat, Figures someone would have done it already. 😛
  4. Don't forget your free trial floppy!
  5. I wonder why I can watch this series without looking at the clock, but the other animated SW series felt agonizingly slow (I don't think I actually finished them)?
  6. Eh, the only Weird thing is that they're using the same number 😛
  7. *ears burning* All of the above, but tossing out the Windows install guide.
  8. Yup, as expected. I had my game -> TV character miffs, but the actual production was good.
  9. Yeah, after I finally got to watch all the related content, this is what came to mind as there's no way the standard user would have put it through enough to cause it.
  10. I have played all of the above (expansions and all) multiple times to the point that I've bought it for PS5 (again), so you can say I'm somewhat familiar with it (as with Uncharted). I liked Uncharted as a film, but didn't really like the mismatch of actors for the characters. Again, I Did like the film overall. I fear the same for TLoU as I'm already kinda miffed about Joel being a bit of a mismatch. Now do I expect to Like the series? Oh hell yeah. Will that still bug me? Sure, but I doubt it'll take away from my experience. The biggest issue I have is that I don't already have HBO and will have to pay for another service to watch it. 😞 Then again, I'm faced with the same issue for some of the Apple TV+ exclusives as well as something that's on Hulu, but I forget what it is RN.
  11. AMD just isn't doing so hot this run. Not as bad as "we should really redesign this plug" Nvidia, but still
  12. I mean, overall, she's still the best Live Action version.
  13. IDK enough about the cards to give you too much direction, but it sounds like Maybe the newer card is having issues with the OpenGL that CoX is coded for. You Could try resetting the graphics in the launcher on your next startup and see if that has an impact. Resetting Graphics: With the Launcher open, click the three dots below the start button for the game version you're trying to launch A context menu will open up, choose "Settings" The settings will open to That game version's tab Click to put a check in the box labelled "Reset graphics settings on next run" Load the game and test it out Now what I don't know is if that box will remove the check on the following launch or not, so you may want to go check it after doing it once.
  14. While cool to see something so worked out, I'm not sure how much faster this will be in practice.
  15. Assuming anyone reads this later, I eventually found an awesome replacement to the Golds that works on, well, Everything. A little on the higher price range, but vs buying two separate headsets (PS/XB), it works out fine. They have both custom RF DAC (USB cords instead of dongle) and BT for connectivity. Also has an audio in/out feature as well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09ZW52XSQ?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_1DVNEVB9TA02VE3TDR55&th=1
  16. Heh, IF you get a good deal on it. Otherwise, I wouldn't sink that much into a GPU.
  17. Haven't had a laptop in a while, but I highly doubt that (aside from driver related issues) you'll notice any real difference for CoX. So long as they still support the OpenGL / DirectX (?) versions the game is coded to, then you'll be good I'm sure.
