  1. When you couldn't use arcs that were single mission badges, your list is gold. Now, there are a few faster ones. (Such as just using The Center's Personal Arc)
  2. Yep, though I was talking about Task Forces. Come to think of it, Manticore is one that is often subject to this since the mobs are base level 35 whatever the lead is. (Or was, I haven't checked recently if that got corrected)
  3. That seems counter to the suggestion anyway, and no, not super rare. Maybe in your experience.
  4. That happens often enough. Someone will form a team and some rando will suggest a higher level person should lead to max the level of the TF. Or the person forming it will suggest it. My friends and I will often do similar in that one person recruits, but a different person runs the TF.
  5. I was just thinking I needed to expand my MC field to include Hess & Katie. (Probably the red side ones that require something as well. Tark iirc))
  6. I have some names I'll try for, and a couple that I would have in the past, but I like the current spelling now. 😄 Probably less than a dozen at this point.
  7. And some badges associated with those. I will run those to fill up the blue bars on the contacts there as well.
  8. At least BS has the ability to use a shield over Katana... (And yes, that's my one BS character.) BS works, it's not the best like a lot of powers that aren't top of the line, but worst isn't that far off of best.
  9. Yea, I suspect there's a couple people running MMs that are just camped and running another alt knocking on doors letting the MMs pulzerize the resulting mobs. Last year i did run a bunch of alts up to 25 to check some simple builds and get Prismatics. Woo, thought I kept more of them, just one survivor. 😄
  10. In a thread about Council, it was noted that if you are solo with bosses off, you still get boss enemies when Council enemies transform into Werewolves. Doesn't happen with all transforms, but did happen often enough. Easier to replicate at x8 mobs, but then it's harder to tell who transformed from what.
  11. Sorry, wasn't clear. Pocket D for just running the tips. No door knocking there. Team is just so you have a larger collection of tips to use. Tougher fight at the end with a team, but having someone stealth and port the team over works great
  12. Went ahead and tried out some ToT in bricks with my level 32 Robot/Traps MM. I haven't slotted any enhancements, but did eat a few inspirations. Setup a few things at the door such as acid & poison and started knocking. The times with just minions and LTs, the robots tore thru them. A Vampire Boss was a problem and killed a battle drone, but we just resummoned. Got a Artisanal Mummy and it was a much tougher fight. I think about six battle drones. two protector bots were whacked before we took his Decaf soymilk nonfat mocha latte with sugar-free hazelnut syrup and got 10% of a level from it. Took almost five minutes for the fight against him. I was actually surprised I beat him. He even did an uppercut on me once and it was 200 toxic and 300 smashing of my 600 hp. So scary, but apparently my base def was enough that he did miss a lot of his attacks. 128 misses vs 32 hits. Only five of those hits were on me. I think if I had enhancements, etc... wouldn't have been as close. Not sure if I want to take the time for another test. I know with most of my chars that can't take on the EBs, I tend to hang out where I can run them to a drone.
  13. Honestly, I suspected ChatGPT or similar and just went with an answer anyway. It could be a translation. Hard to say since the OP doesn't have much history to check.
  14. I don’t think it’s practical to research pages of topics to see if I’m repeating a month old topic. Um, it was an active topic last week. I mean at least you didn't take part in it and then start the topic again. In suggestions and bug reports, it's always helpful to see if someone else has brought it up. Helps keeping rehash down a bit. Perhaps programming could be implemented where only the person who starts the tf as leader and ends as leader is eligible to receive the extra reward? That can still be gamed even if it is feasible from the code.
  15. Collision Issues: I have seen people do that, though often it's more checking geometry of zones, etc... Artificial intelligence: Seems like an odd heading, since I don't think all of the subheading would be AI (or how the game is programmed that way...) Now if you want to say game responses, maybe. I think for drop rate evaluation, it might be possible for the dev team to make a drop test, depending on how the underlying code is done. Load Testing: I think if the devs make a call for "Hey, let's stress test X by getting as many people on at XXXX time EST and do X" SDET: That's not beta, that's alpha IMO. Case tests if the build environment supports it is a great idea and is part of most build processes I have been part of. Out of scope for Open Beta I think. NDAs: Pretty sure that's Closed Beta talk. By the time things are in Open, it's being discussed by the rest of the player base. Feedback: "In my experience communication and feedback are really the most important aspect for a developer. " Yes. And testers should be able to convey what they find is wrong and if it's a bug, as much detail on how to reproduce it is needed. And not all developers are great at the communication parts. Usually having someone to help moderate Developer and User conversations is very helpful. I used to have a developer that we didn't have talk to our Beta testers, but it worked well having someone to bring the feedback to them and point out why the UI wasn't as intuitive as they thought. (as one example) Playability: Having players explain why an experience is not as fun after a change can be challenging, but sometimes you can gauge based on just unhappy reactions even if the details are not as helpful in some cases.
  16. So ran a bunch of solo Council missions in PI at 50. Bosses off Ran one at -1, then when I noted that, went to +1/x4 to get more respawns. Lts that respawned or turned into werewolves were Lts. ---- Ran another mission at +1/x8 and finally replicated an Eclipse Warwolf spawing as a boss. (I'm not sure what he was previous, but I think Galaxy Adjutant) Just got a second one that turned into an Eclipse Warwolf again. I do think that is buggy behaviour. The original complaint, I find the council chewier, but not any tougher and at base +0/x1, barely.
  17. Did we need another thread so soon after the other one? I think a lot of people have pointed out in both threads why this could be easily gamed. The best thing about leading a team is, you get to decide the overall goal and what the content is to be run. There are some badges for running teams, and if you didn't already spend 1m on it, you get ATT for leading teams for 12 hours. (Of course, that can be gotten just by sitting in a base with an alt on your team)
  18. Well, notoriety isn't taken into account for the door spawns, but your level is. Might be able to code that, but not knowing the code myself, not sure. They're not a total "zone event" mob, but generated based on the character and if teamed, more are spawned. As mentioned in another thread about the EBs, I don't know why the leagues are going on about setting your notoriety to +4/x8
  19. All of the costumes are available from the Holographic vendor, so they are available permanently
  20. It would be nice if you said "No Bosses", it would take that under consideration. Interesting, that while solo, it looks like notoriety settings are ignored, while if you join a league, we're told to +4/x8 so that we're fighting level 54. I think there's a different mechanism going on.
  21. Note that the Whispered Rumor tip only drops if you are wearing a costume while opening doors. I find one of the easiest ways to run it if you have friends is everyone to grab it and run it in Pocket D. Easy access to all the doors and Null is there to change alignment for you. If you do run it while in a league, check with the league leader if there can be a team that runs it. If you are lower than 50, note if you run your tip, you will drop everyone on your team to your level.
  22. Most of those are dealt with by pulling. And pretty sure, it's always been like that.
  23. Oh right! Blarf!
  24. From what I understand, it has to be a new name. However, that wouldn't stop you from creating a new char, then changing their name and changing the other character name it that
  25. Here's the stub of mine, though I did delete the sheet with all the names I might use (if available) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CKCjagX2xU8v6zhUQZjK6DIVeUcl8Zahx8vsKH_m-5M
