True on needing to wear the costume while knocking on doors. You don't get it from defeating enemies, but for doors.
However, the Whisper Tip does not count toward the total. You can have three regular tips plus Whisper (and V-Day) and exploration tips.
I tend to make my melee characters at least average height so that I'm not in the middle of looking at a bunch of butt. Except for a couple that can fly...
Though looking at my costume files, my heights are pretty well at covering the range. Not counting the few that have picked up mini costumes.
And OT, I think the measurement in the costume creator is off. It seems like the base height is 6' and doorways are taller than in the real world.
Depends if you are using American or British. I think Gases is the currently more popular version, so maybe back in 2005-2012, Gasses may have been a bit more in use in the US.
I would definitely check your running temps. Graphics tend to up the heat a lot more. One of my old systems crashed soon after I started CoH, but it was the graphics card no longer cooling properly. CoH does tend to rely on the GPU it seems.
At low levels it's a handy tool, especially against the CoT spirits. I've noted the extra damage against the Halloween EBs (except Crones, sorry bruce), so not sure what you're not seeing.
I grew up on Stollen which is a german version, but I've had some decent fruitcake as well. It's much better just out of the oven, etc... The majority though, is not very good and that's probably why it has the rep it does.
Yep. You'll get random contacts you can't get to. I have several contacts in Primal on my perma-Praetorian. As mentioned, the game assumes you'll be leaving Praetoria so doesn't have any logic thinking you're staying. Sometimes they'll move immediately into inactive, but not always.
95% of the time, offensive. Occasionally defensive when my tank's DPS is not needed. Efficient seems to be only called on while leveling and before I have a good build going.
Well, assuming the seeded at 10,000 are the 10,000,000 ones, that currently leaves 5109, you could in theory buy up everything at 9,999 for less than 52 million. Which isn't much for a lot of people. A bit of clicking is the real cost IMO.
Not a difficult thing to program a script to modify the costume files, but I like Naomi's suggestion
Looks like Scale for height
For the body scales:
BoneScale, ChestScale, HipScale, LegScale, ShoulderScale, WaistScale
Head scales:
BrowScales, CheekScales, ChinScales, CraniumScales, HeadScales, JawScales, NoseScales
Mine don't look as faded. Do all of them look like that, or just the ones that are right above those blue bar badges. I am noticing that my cheaper monitor shows less contrast than the monitor that I have calibrated for photo editing. So that's another idea.
I think OG wanted a bit of clarity and others just chimed in with what they know to help out. Ignore the drama and just state the facts is the best reply method I find.
Yea, I have yet to have more than "I might have handled it different" for some actions I've seen. (And the two chars I have had generic'd, no real issue with)
We've got a good group of GMs and they handle it well.
Yea, I play more than craft so I keep tossing yellows onto the AH, but haven't been able to get the price to start lowering. I did a sweep of characters recently and dropped probably a few thousand yellows. Drop in the bucket either way
Just speaking for myself, but October is really busy for me and this one has had additional stressors meaning I barely have the spoons to do anything taking brain power or any sort of real commitment. (Not that Hami takes much, just depends on timing on my part)
I get all my chars the Aether badges and then I tend to fill in the rest of the event badges if I have ability. Which can take a lot of door clicking depending on RNG to finish the costume badges. And depending on how the tip drops. 34 complete at this point and six just need either banners or House of Kane which take the most planning time.
I did run a team last night on Everlasting in PI, and just tossed a team together that managed to do all badges for it. Could have used a little more DPS since we were down to 4 minutes at the last banner defeat, but we did it. And what I didn't know that the hunt for the GM starts the clock up again. (20 minutes?)
