  1. Their expectations? I don't think they actually read the post since they ask HC to hire people.
  2. I'm suspecting the monitor portion of the laptop. Do you have a monitor you can hook up to it?
  3. There are others. I think there's at least one or two in each zone. Several characters die that are contacts and/or people you are supposed to talk to during another contact arc. If they are a contact, one way I've been able to get around it is go to Ouro and start the arc with the dead contact and TP to contact. They'll then be there, then you quit the Ouro arc and they don't disappear allowing you to talk to them for the active mission. Of course, this only works if the Ouro arc is available. I think it will be in this case, but you might need to get to level 10 before that set of arcs are available.
  4. I do see calls for farms all the time, so it must be a popular place. 😄
  5. With Efficiency Expert Pither His description has: "Working for Mr. Pither can earn you the Efficiency Expert badge by completing all his timed missions successfully. You must succeed at all the timed missions and be the Mission owner, or use the Mission Autocomplete feature, to earn the badge. Simply helping another villain complete these missions will not earn you the badge." This is no longer the case since a helper can earn the badge.
  6. By your description, seems mostly mechanics. for example: Mental thing for me, keeping characters around means i need to log them in for certain activities even if I don't want to play them. So, better for me to delete them. it also helps with keeping things organized.
  7. If you have the duplicating gift power, you are an invalid target. I wound up doing the delete power to speed it along since it goes away on it's own in 10 minutes.
  8. That's the best point so far, empowerment stations.
  9. I suspect that coding this would be problematic for the TFs that require you to go to the contact such as Manticore. This is just because if you go to the contacts in Fort Trident, you still need to go thru a portal to start the TF there. And, I don't think people are going to flock to this version. That being said, you can start any of the instanced TFs from inside a base now. And for the other TFs, you can still gather in the base first for those roleplaying the start from in the base. See how that works for you and if enough people think it's a great idea, then the Devs may think your idea is worth implementing.
  10. Will have to check it out since I need to revisit my Rad/Rad Corruptor build.
  11. I suppose it could work, but you already could do it this way once everyone is there, queue via LFG. Which will port you to the contact (and possibly scramble the order), or start the instanced TF/Trial. So in one case, it's an extra step. Of course at the end of an instanced trial, you pop out wherever you entered the base from or possibly where a portal would drop you into the zone. At least that's what has happened with me when joining in progress trials. Note, this can cause some issues with mixed alignment teams. All in all, I don't think the suggestion will do what you want and just have a extra step, or a different step that people will have to take. And most people join a TF to do the TF. Sometimes after a TF, I'll pop thru the leader's base to check it out, but not often. I think Dacy & Easter Bunny have more solid plans for base encouragement:
  12. Looks that way. Edge case that makes stuff inconsistent
  13. And in my informal testing, it hardly matters if you clear the spawns or not to have a present respawn. I normally had my alt account follow along with an AOE on auto though since it's still nicer to cleanup. When a WL spawns, it will spawn at a location of a present. I'm not sure if the present needs to be there or not, but the notice of a spawn was after I clicked on a present somewhere else in the zone. I saw the notice after a nice and a naughty result, but there was one other person in zone, so not 100% sure it doesn't matter. And 200 presents is still a large number that I wouldn't mind seeing down to 100. Still takes a bit of an investment of time of running around and in a crowded zone more difficult.
  14. I think some things are on a timer, and others are waiting until tomorrow's maintenance window. So you can still do Father Time, but can't buy the Snowbeast costume.
  15. Not a page listing them, but some like the guy on the desert island have their own page, but others do not. I don't think the Pocket D easter eggs such as the Tardis and Gas Station are mentioned.
  16. Odd timing that you can still buy other things with candy canes (I don't remember if that persists over the year) and Father Time is still giving his missions today. I think some people were assuming things would go until maintenance tomorrow morning.
  17. Too bad the file itself is just "ACCOUNT" "SERVER" "CHARACTER_NAME" "POSITION" Now, if we could get the playerslot.txt to have more info, we could do a third party tool that could rearrange it your liking. Come to think of it, I could export my spreadsheet of characters that way and just have to tweak between accounts.
  18. Thorn Assault? Kinetic could be fun. Drain potential from an enemy, transfer to an object that you then propel at your target.
  19. Default order is the order of when that character joined the server. So if playerslot.txt file is not there for any reason (such as a new install), that will be the order they are in game. So if you were really patient you could transfer characters to another server and then back again in the order wanted... Of course problems with that are name collisions and you get a limited number of transfers at a time. Greycat's version, much easier. You do need to go thru each page on each server to get the playerslot.txt to be complete though.
  20. Hmm, can't seem to find it either, but I'll check again. IIRC, it's over Jan 2 when the server maint happens.
  21. I used to develop on a web game. I'm well aware there will be people flipping out. And yea, I read the thread when this was first proposed.
  22. *slaps a name tag on the flea and dives into a bunker*
  23. There was a hardware merge, not a shard merge.
  24. Making the mobs stuck to the same suppression to speed would be good.
