  1. Now I need to go thru all my costumes and make statistics on which hairstyles. Sometimes it's the clipping that makes the hairstyle choice for me. Off the top of my head, Serrated Sugar, Hard Candy, Glam, and Strange are the ones that tend to used for mine.
  2. Since I made a clockwork orange AE mission, I need to point out that horrorshow means good in that context, which I had forgotten as well. Though the meaning does get modified during the book. https://www.rbth.com/education/326453-russia-words-from-clockwork-orange On the terms of Synapse. it's one of those Taskforces that could use a rework. Too many missions that are just repeats
  3. Heh. Was on an ITF last night that was put together by a 35 and he made a level 50, vet level 65, lead. The vet had little idea what they were doing with leading an ITF, but we muddled thru. And I think they learned. I noted before they started, their setting was -1/x4 and I reminded them to set difficulty. First mission was +0 which was fine, but they set it for +4 next one. We had a scrapper, little healing, only two 50s that were incarnate. (I was on a newly minted 50 fire blaster with generic IOs) That was a tough mission, but we did it with only one quitting. (I have no idea how many times I died, but I mostly kept up with my Rise of the Phoenix) We set it back to +1 for next mission and got thru the rest fairly well. It was a good learning experience. 😄 Reminded me of some TFs on live where everything was new. I'd team with them again.
  4. Fairy Wears Boots: Bio/Fire Dynomonique: WP/War Mace Scalez: Inv/SS Generic Hero No. 001: Bio/Staff Sharp Dressed Tanker: WP/Psi Spiney Norman: Bio/Spines Danger Noodle: Fire/Rad Horse You Rode in On: Dark/Dark Metal Health: WP/Titan Weapons Stabbit: Rad/Claws These are my Tanks, so far. Fairy is probably my favorite. Not the most durable, but fun to play in teams or solo. Dyno & Scalez are good team players. Those three are the most outfitted with sets, though I want to respec in fold space and a little more tweaking on each build. They work as current builds fine though. I want to play around a bit more with Spiney, but he got ignored soon after hitting 50 and I was trying a lot of concepts back then. Horse needs a respec and outfitting and I keep dithering over the build. Stabbit & Metal are probably my only meh ones. At some point, I want to try out the other Primaries, but I do a lot with other ATs too.
  5. Necro-post, but this is still happening. Looking at my logs now, I get the AS activation, but no roll to hit, etc... Next line is my target attacking me. I seem to be seeing it more often. This stalker is only at level 21 and I've had it happen maybe once per day.
  6. I've been knocked back doing Lightning Rod and just hopping, but a little KB resist via a set prevents most issues
  7. I haven't but I'll see if I can check one of the other arcs with a similar. I just know at the time I saw some movement in those badges
  8. Pools of Mercury has reached level 21 in Praetoria. Put in some low bids for level 25 IOs since that should save information in the long run. Did Loyalist Power until Neutropolis where I did Responsibility and was weirded out by Mother that I went resistance, then did the Warden arc. Still informed Marchand of stuff, but since he's as disgusted with Berry, etc... I can go with that. Just wish the later arcs in First, Night Ward, and Primal that have the Praetorians would acknowledge the Praetorians characters instead of treating them as new to them. Should be feasible to do this without too much effort. I think the one that bugs me the most is Reese in Number 6's arc. So now before leaving Praetoria, I think I'll run around and get all the exploration badges and plaques. May have to make a second build with some flight capability though. I think I can do the top of the building in Nova, but getting to the top of the reactor in Neutropolis seemed more problematic.
  9. It's a fun challenge. I did that with another char of mine who is now level 46, still a praetorian. Done a few CoPs and SBBs. I had them turn off XP and did all the arcs on the way up. One thing I found I can do is certain Oro arcs that start with a train mission can be done via Team Teleport. (Hmm, not suitable just realized because of p2w) Some of the First & Night Ward arcs are rather insane. And whoops, did the responsibility arc in Neutropolis and need to get back to loyalist to do the Power arc. Mainly for Bobcat. 😄
  10. Yep. I had another bad turn where I missed a destroyer boss a bunch and he slammed me off a ledge into another group. That one was a funny death. So clone #4 of Pools of Mercury is now up to level 14 and already doing Neutropolis. I decided to only do the Power Loyalist Arc. I also learned from the previous clones and have a couple breakfrees on me. At least until I get status protection. Did screw around on a different stalker just to check a theory. If you have a hostage that is non-combat, turn on walk, and you can stay hidden and walk them out...
  11. The particular one was Alec Parson's "Bait and Switch" when rescuing Susan and having to lead her out. Made more complicated in that I didn't clear up to her. There was an earlier one where I kept getting bombs tossed at me by Destroyer's in one of Luke's missions. Some ambushes in missions do not see stealthed chars, and some home right in and attack.
  12. I've been doing a stalker (SJ/WP) in Preatoria. Try #3. Endless ambushes on a escort got the first clone at level 12. Second clone got to level 5 before getting some bad luck with a Lt. (Stunned, then while stumbling around, hit again with a large attack.) Let's see if clone #3 does better.
  13. Dr. Arvin's missing: "Retrieve Subject Zero in South Aetna!" has a bit of a typo in one of the random dialogues Rocket Girl: We're runnin' out of crush& we gotta latch onto Red Bomb's group...!
  14. I use the tram all the time. Also useful for when in zone you're close to a tram and your destination is close to the other stop. I think my least used travel method are the Tunnels, but that's often because I don't have their locations as well memorized. 😉 Least number of zoning steps is my method. When you're on a mission, you need to be quick, people's lives may be at stake!
  15. Out of the 70 odd chars, my favorite is still Ice Pirate. A DB/WP Scrapper that was originally based on my PnP champions character that got written up way back in the 80s
  16. In the arc "Psimon Sez", mission "Interrogate GIFT researcher" when you finish off his guards his dialogue is: " GIFT Researcher: You've come for the psi-crystal research, haven't you? I sensed it& it seems to have affected me!" Maybe put in a space and replace the ampersand with an ' and'
  17. I make way more inf on new chars from drops than the influence that they can get from just the inf reward. Even the chars that are turning off XP to hit all contacts before out leveling do 2xp before breakpoints.
  18. I like the new functionality, but for those people who want Fly/Hover and SJ/CJ not to coexist, maybe throw another option on Null? Not sure how much work that would be, but it may be a simpler solution. And I think the binds may still work then?
  19. My Praetorian, "New Kind of Kick" is level 44 now and been mostly self sufficient in her enhancements. I think the only non-solo stuff she's done is over the winter event and SBB, but I'll see if I can get into a CoP starting in Pocket D or Echo. Most of the information gained has been via recipe conversion.
  20. I rarely autocomplete, but the ones that tempt me the most are: 1) Any in the outdoor factories where you have to hunt down multiple objects or mobs. Takes longer to find stuff than anything else. 2) I forget who gives it, but find 12 Mages in the Orobenga caves with Malta. 3) Dream Doctor : Do the Diabolique Trial. It's not that I don't do the trial, but hate having that hang over me.
  21. My latest controller has wormhole and fold space to get things to the tank
  22. Very cool. That would be a nice png to put in the hcwiki for the Eden trial.
  23. Yay! I had been purposely avoiding exploration badges in anticipation of this release. Looking forward to more (and hope to see similar with plaques)
  24. Only real prep I do is if I remember the curse breaker. Otherwise, it's take care of ambushes before pulling Holz, dealing with him, then the Honoree. I'll have to do the trip mines before getting the blinky with my beam/traps blaster. Haven't done it yet with that one.
  25. Yep. SS + Stealth used to be enough. Now it's just Stealth. I think some people are thinking Infiltration is supposed to be more stealthy and finding it's not. I started playing around with it more since the latest patch and except for mobs with extra perception, or mobs that have a debuff/damage field, you can walk right up to them.
