  1. I think if it's a necro of a thread that has been beaten around back then with possible changes, I could see being annoyed. The last one that annoyed me was someone wanting to know why something wasn't fixed as described, when if they had checked patch notes, would see that it had been addressed. (or something like that) Threads like this, a bit more timeless.
  2. I figured it was higher than normal. I've definitely seen it where no one was bidding. That's a huge number of bids taking up over 100 characters AH limits. And it's not like it really does much since even if you don't have the right uncommon, you can throw one onto the market, get 12k and buy one for yourself at 12,001. costing a little extra. I just don't get why someone would do it.

  4. It has been going on for longer than usual. I just assume someone put in a bunch of bids at a high level. Two billion would be enough to put 166,666 bids at 12,000 though that's 80-100 characters maxing out their auction bids. Seems like a lot of effort for nothing but a weird flex. Current number of bids for yellow is 259,387. While I have been dumping my excess into the AH, it might take a bit of time.
  5. Yes. When they revamped the travel powers the hangtime was greatly increased to 15 seconds. End use is still an issue if you don't drop an end reduction in, but I tend to four slot Warp into it which has a global end reduction in it. Crossing the Shadow Shard is easy enough. (I'll have to check how many ports that is) On Fold Space: Works well as a taunt even when it doesn't port groups to you from different mobs. It does sometimes line up the mobs in a conga line instead of a group around you, but then it's a good time to shift and use a cone.
  6. Have you tried teleport since they increased the hang time? It's so much longer (15 seconds?) than before. I used to have the same complaint.
  7. Really depends on the AV IMO. I'd say for TF AVs and other like ones, a checkbox for "formidable" should be an option for some extra reward, but not as something for always. PUGs get tricky enough without having a everything seems OK except the final fight. Granted, they do seem to be putting hardmode versions out, so maybe we'll see more.
  8. Hamidon Avatar during Underground Trial confuses. Succubi and one of the Crey agents pops a confusing smoke. I think there are a couple others, but unsure.
  9. Yea, I have one character who has a hover that is around the same speed as the temp fly powers.
  10. Lately I've been taking teleport more often. The added hang time made it a much better power, and it's fast even though with overshooting targets I've had to learn to aim for blocks to bounce to my destination at time. And Echo: Dark Astoria is still the most annoying zone for teleport. The other great thing with teleport is "stealthing" past mobs that see thru stealth. Trickier indoors though. Teleport Target & Fold Space are very useful powers from the pool. Mystic Flight is something I take for concept and while the teleport is short, it works for getting past mobs I don't want to deal with. Flight is my favorite for feeling super. And useful for most purposes. Super Leap is another fun one I don't use nearly as much as I did on live. Though I'll still use it for crossing zones playing the street is lava. Kinetics: I almost never take an travel pool since it's got plenty built in. Super Speed: I can hardly ever get the hang of it. (Yea, even though I don't have much of an issue with kinetics version...) Probably about 20% of my characters just rely on temp powers at least pre-respec at 50.
  11. I have a bunch of characters with teleport and +Range and the number of times I overshoot my target while teleporting is fairly common. Though I'm getting pretty good at finding ways to "ricochet" to the correct spot. Teleport got a huge buff when the hang time was increased. It went from quick, but annoying at times to my go to travel power. I still prefer flight for feel and most concepts, but teleport is probably now my most used travel power. And then the utility of teleport target and fold space...
  12. I figured as much, but it's been awhile since the last update. Just checked my character that shows as level 38 in the drop down and got the level 50 badge on August 7. So, it's been at least a month.

  15. There does seem to be something going on. It doesn't list my latest characters and levels are lower on a few characters as well. It copied my character who is listed as level 22 in the drop down, and it was fine on Beta. Level 50, etc... So there's something a bit off there.
  16. 100 characters on two accounts, five haven't hit 50 yet. I'm trying to keep myself to 100. If I get an idea for another char, I tend to delete one of the non-played ones. Which one gets the axe is getting harder. Some I want to keep the name, or the concept is something that I just haven't given up on. If it's the name, that may wind up being one that gets rerolled with a different AT, powerset, etc... I play almost all on Everlasting now and some have moved over from Excelsior. So far 42 have moved over. I also have one outlier on Reunion holding down a base. I do tend to run all my characters a least briefly during holiday stuff which is one reason I keep the limit of 100. I can cycle thru that. When I had over 200, it was bit much. (And I'm too CDO to not run them thru some of it...)
  17. Well, this is lame. So, I copied your menu and it didn't work as described. When I looked at my launcher log, it complained ERRORLOG FILEERROR: texts/English/menus/test.mnu File: texts/English/menus/test.mnu Parser: unrecognized token xxchat in texts/English/menus/test.mnu, line 1 Putting an empty line as line one, solved it. Missed it because all my menus have a bit of documentation which had the whitespace in there. On the plus side, looking at the log showed another one of my commands had an error. 😉
  18. Menu names need to be unique, there may be a popmenu with that name elsewhere. Try renaming the line Menu "chat" to Menu "chatty" or something, then reload.

  20. Is it freaking long? Does it seem repetitive? Too many kill alls? Yes. Back in the day when we didn't have a bunch of mission teleport, etc... abilities and Recall Friend didn't come close to helping out there, it was terrible. And took forever, and the memory remains. I prefer it over Synapse. Takes about the same amount of time for more reward and if I want to solo it, I can without concern. And that last bit where you hunt down the escapees isn't that big of a stretch, though for some reason, I think we used to hunt them in the sewers.

  22. There's a few spots you'll get extras. I think a few of the arcs that were introduced at the same time. Praetor Marchand's arc and others have the potential.
  23. I think it's just a random chance without any restrictions as you describe. If that was the case, what would be the choice if no one had any of the defeat badges? Especially for those seasonal ones (Lord of Winter, and which Jack or Eochai?) In any case, if I'm reading the code right, it is just a random chance between the 16 entities minus the ones that appeared in the same round.

  25. Yea, I spent my youth doing a lot of chores as an only child on a small farm. I was using a chainsaw at the age of 10.
