  1. As I mentioned in the Tanker forum briefly, maybe the Sentinel could offer a small Mez protection to the team as they stand guard over them. It could be a useful edition for squishies in the team, especially pre incarnate and make them a valuable team member?
  2. You could give Sentinels a low Mez protection aura for the whole team. It might make them valuable to a team then 🤔
  3. I think Hibernate should be changed more. It is an emergency skill only and if the set is buffed will become even less useful and possible make the set overpowered. Doing zero damage sucks. Instead it could be a big absorb buff as you layer yourself in more protective ice. It could also emit a very potent slow/recharge debuff to enemies within 10ft, grinding them to a halt for 10 seconds and even have a low chance of a mag 3-4 hold.
  4. Or add a BU clicky to swap ammo? You select the ammo then everyone time you click the same ammo after you get the BU. You can switch ammo anytime but the cool down timer still ticks. Rubbish idea probably lol.
  5. Yes I did think about Dual Pistols after the post, but maybe they could add a BU power to Sentinel DP.
  6. Wouldn't it be cool if Tankers could just charge forward and run into mobs and just knock them on all over the place for like 8 seconds or so, Juggernaut style 😋 Now that would be a cool power lol. Unstoppable Juggernaut!
  7. I also don't like having the effects tied to T1/T2 . Yes we have to take one of them and we do usually need to use them but I try not to use them if I can and only use once in a while as a filler. I open with my strongest attacks not my weakest. Sentinels get shorter cool down nukes that apply big AoE secondary effects. I would be careful buffing these anymore. One opportunity mode is enough. Combine offensive/defensive into one. I think people want it more simplistic. Maybe make the team buff overwatch tied to the build up power. Lasts 10-15 seconds after using BU. Definitely un-nerf the AoE limit.this game is very AoE orientated. Even Stalkers can have good AoE and very good single target.
  8. If I play a Dark Tanker for example with stealth I do sometimes run through with some toggles off just so I don't aggro. This can make it easier to click a glowie if no aggro or mobs nearby. But mostly I just charge through and stomp a few mobs that aggro or are near the objective and then just stand there and /flex 💪 haha.
  9. Couldn't they just remove the +defence from energy drain and port everything else over to tankers? I don't see why adding another unkillable power set to an AT that already has a number of unkillable sets is a problem anyway lol. If we can't have EA then they can't have SS haha.

  11. I'm not in game at the moment but isn't the superior 5ppm? In a single target attack with some global recharge it should proc regularily and stack. I think most tankers will go for the boss anyway and let the AoE take care of the trash. But I think 14% or so extra resists is great for a defence/hybrid set but not so good for a resistance set like Elec Armor as it has very high resists anyway and the proc may just overcap and be wasted. Defence sets get DDR to make their defence debuff immune and then high resists with IOs and the MoT proc that is also debuff immune mostly. A resist set get resist only, well mostly and defence if built for it that is debuffed very easily. I think it is a little biased towards defence sets more.
  12. It could be that the Tanker ATO proc giving more resists is a big part of the problem. Were defence sets ever meant to have such high resists that come from that proc and a good IO build. It puts them at the top of the pile when they also have high DDR. Barely getting hit and negating most of what does get through. Maybe the proc should have been 3%resistance and 3%defence instead for example. Or even 2%resist 2%defence 100%regen maybe. As it is now I think it favors Defence sets more. Lol 'runs and hides' 🤣

  14. I am not sure it is fair to compare Brute to Tanker. What would a Brute EA vs a Brute IA look like though? As that will include the Tanker ATO proc i presume? If EA was ported over to Tanker then the Results for EA would be a lot better. Better resists/defence than that Brute version above.

Yes it is a shame when players put a lot of thought into a costume and they lose to a costume with just a couple small changes and no real effort put into it like the Trench coat/fedora which has been seen a million times before. I even had one called Justin Case lol. Maybe the name helps or even the account name lol

  17. Why do you think ninja blade and Dual blades don't have AoE? they each have 2 cone attacks hitting up to 5 or 10 enemies. Dual blades Ablative Strike also shows it has a 10ft PBAoE hitting up to 10 enemies in the description.... finishing move of the sweep combo makes it AoE? STJ has one cone and one very small PBAoE hitting 5 and 10 enemies also if you are lucky with such a small radius. Ninja Blade does look the weakest in AoE but it does have 2 cones.
  18. Rune of protection can help. I know from entering the MoITF with buffed mobs, debuffed player etc that i can hold my own easily against the Roman mobs and whilst my cooldowns are available it is ok against the Dark Kheldians but the odd time i will jump to the next dark kheld group and it is either the self buffs from mobs within AoE range hasn't kicked in to bump my resists or my cooldowns have dropped and i go splat in like 2 seconds. It is doable, just need to take that bit a little more slowly. But this is pretty extreme content, usually for groups and it will do fine elsewhere.
  19. Yes i was thinking about Energy aura set for example really. It still kept the +recharge even though it lost entropic aura. I think Rad should have had the same added elsewhere also.
  20. I know it isn't on your list but Rad melee would be interesting. Plenty of debuffs and 2 AoEs plus an extra heal. Otherwise spines or savage would get my vote from your list.
  21. I don't like /Rad on a Stalker as it loses Beta decay with no compensation anywhere else in the set. No +recharge, -to hit or Defence debuff anywhere. Usually when a power is lost some of it is added somewhere else, certainly the +recharge could have been easily, but it wasnt. An oversight I reckon.
  22. Nerf rage and buff some of the other powers to compensate. But please not just another boring BU power.
  23. Bio is ok, i'm just giving my opinion of it having both a Rad/SS and a Bio/SS with IOs.

  25. Bio is ok. I have a pimped out Bio/SS and a Bio/EM. The extra damage in offensive is nice but it can be endurance heavy on single targets. I find that my Rad/SS is tougher in many situations though. MoITF the Bio struggles when meeting the Dark Kheldian mobs and the bosses. The defences drop, the resists to none S/L damage is not good and the regen buff needs lots of mobs really. It can be worked around but takes a fair bit of investment to fill the survivability holes. My Rad/SS does not need as much investment to be tough and can slot more aggressively, dead mobs are not a threat, 90% resists to most is just better. I had to slot mine more defensively to help it survive and found that it didn't do much more damage than my Rad/SS that was slotted more aggressively and was more survivable. You need either high defences with DDR or high resistance. Healing will struggle to keep up with the damage some mobs can put out, unless it has good resistance or defence with DDR. Bio can easily be overwhelmed, even with Rune of Protection/Barrier etc. To be honest though anything without high DDR and defence can struggle in MoITF buffed mobs, even 90% resists without some serious healing backup. High defence and DDR with decent resistances are just amazing in there. Bio is good but there is better in my opinion.
