  2. @Goddess Laucianna Thanks again for the Kheld Family invite - I just learned how to make gifs and used your image to practice a little masking. Real basic (as I am lol) thought I'd pass it along in case you may actually use it ^.^ Cheers _______ Since you're using the avatar... when I got back to comp I noticed the eye glow wasn't even but I saved wrong format to change what i wanted so added another mask to pump up the glow stage left and added a longer background sequence and increased the speed. Obsessive compulsive much @Goddess Laucianna
  3. Updated Intro TBC
  4. Updated #2 Exempt Build x Nova Attack Chain now complete at level 7 x Added +Knockback protection enhancement for low level play
  5. Wasn't 100% satisfied with the Exempt Widow Build Was just shy of 45% defenses - now has at least 48% Hasten made Perma #3 the Exempt Widow [updated in op]
  6. Updated OP Post Builds to include level 45+ Psi Resist Build (fixed wrong enhancement), and freshly recreated Exempt Build. Exempt Build: Psi Resist + Ranged Defense Build:
  7. Updated builds #1-3 for incoming weapon redraw changes #1 the Fortunata ranged build removed Aura of Confusion for Dart Burst - adding a little on demand damage that's been fun to use during testing #2 the Hybrid build now mixes Claws/Psi/&Mace Mastery to focus single targets - mace makes build feel like a heavy hitter which is very satisfying #3 the Exempt build focuses on packing in as much recharge as possible even to the point of 3 slotted hasten for low level play - much friendlier on the endurance bar than before [the Files Updated]
  8. Finally, the Peacebomber can solo Arachnos, and Carnies: Now build #1 in OP, "Psi Resist Build" Packed in as much Psi Resist and as close to 50% status resist as possible coming in at 45.69% while keeping ranged defense goals of 45% with barrier & unleashed potential this build has proven to be my first Peacebomber that is effectively soloing Arachnos, and Carnies without inspirations. I've ran handfuls of missions of each mob type and I'm still in awe. Moments can prove difficult - have to outplay some npc by keeping range which isn't hard with so many ranged attacks. Much Much Fun Build:
  9. Updated #1 & #2 Build Codes to Mids 3.4.7.5 in OP They should be good for download.
  10. I'll look at this soon Hopefully you haven't given up the build already ^.^
  11. I'm running /electric I agree specter goes unnoticed unless you're using it for a purpose. Such as when I solod lvl 54 Chimera the specters helped from keeping pets one shooted after another long enough to get set up in a good spot then as long as I kept the specters flowing out they held aggro well. I saw that comment too about the taunt effect + damage. No idea about this but am keeping an eye open. Lol I forgot what topic this was until typing this very line. You're right. If we must persist I new thread shall be in order >.<
  12. You quoted Bellona telling you the spectres are not about damage in their opinion and then continued responding saying why their damage is the issue. The spectres have an actual Taunt built into their one attack. Bellona is saying they are helpful to mitigate damage because of this. I agree. I solo 4/8 and have many times seen them distracting a boss, and tank AVs when I've come across them. And the attacks do not need to be max slotted to have effective a little distraction provided by specters - I only slotted life drain.
  13. I also changed SE slotting after we chatted. After comparing what we changed I highly recommend you try my variation if you can sacrifice a tiny bit of accuracy. My build has +To Hit so its not an issue for me. So if you sacrifice a little accuracy I say try mine because: when looking at damage numbers my Zombies are only 1.71% lower damage than yours but are holding 3 of the pet aura IOs vs your 1. looking at Soul Extraction my #'s are superior in nearly every way (except acc) plus I have 1 dmg proc and 1 knockdown proc which you have none I am currently running same slotting on Grave Knights except trying out Shield Breaker proc instead of +build up My build with enhancement changes: I never consider Endurance Reduction in my main pets and I'm unsure if your pets experience endurance issues running /Dark and if ER works towards pet attacks anyway - just a late thought
  14. Some of my most memorable Widow days were spent playing a RoP build. This was before RoP was made to ignore recharge. I could use RoP, Demonic Aura (name? the shield accolade) followed up by RoP again, but this is no longer possible. I might have to revisit the power again. If test server is allowing build imports again I'll may throw together a WS and give it a try. In time if its meant to be 😛 Thanks for joining in the forum. Glad to be apart of someones success story. Thank you greatly.
  15. Thanks for the advice although I don't think your use of Soul Extraction is well advised. Since the revamp of Necromancy Soul Extraction, imo, is best to have at least some recharge (if not lots) and at least a dmg proc if not dmg % as well. The skill is such a huge DPS increase for Necro and to divide the pet aura IO's amongst all the pets allows SE to shine, and it SHINES. My build has all the pet aura def & res IO's. There is no meaningful % differences in our pets slotting only difference I see is you slotted Grave Knight with a Build Up Proc, but severally gimping Soul Extraction. If I'm missing your point please do tell otherwise I kindly disagree.
  16. Played a TA defender and it didn't matter which was vast first the boosted effect will be applied either way.
  17. My Necro/Electric/Mace build The 3rd slot in Enchant Undead is for Gladiator's Armor +DEF. I put Steadfast Protection +DEF in Faraday Cage because of the +res to boost Faraday over Enchant Undead. Web Envelope can go from 5 to 3 slots moving those into Life Drain for the 2.25% extra endurance, 5th bonus of Touch of Nictus. Soul Extraction, Dark Watcher's = Cloud Senses Proc. And forgot to switch Nucleolus Exposure to Soulbound Allegiance DMG/RCH/ACC; its heavy on DMG and RCH - still messing around with the slotting.
  18. I didn't think to look at the resistance increases on the spectres. Although the Spectre damage increase from fully slotting the skill is real low. Did you notice a kill speed increase slotting attacks so greatly? I don't believe you can heal the spectres but you can use absorbs on them. I imagine leadership toggles affects them. It appears the pet auras apply by in game image but I just couldn't make out the assault buff icons circling: But I turned Off/On Assault and its damage changed (and I can barely see assault icon buff circling:
  19. Alright Ill share mine once I get to the other comp. Without going back and reading what I said some wires got crossed, or just a mistyping; I did not slot life drain for the lich's benefit but for my own, but Dark Empowerment was slotted with Heal IOs benefits all your pets Life Drains. Those bonuses are moot when you're already running a Resistance Primary AND secondary. I used 3 LoTG so you can use those 4th slots else where. I personally would use Discharge over Shock or Defibrillate. Leveraging the -DMG debuff as well as endurance drain is real effective. At least at the difficulties I'm soloing I have plenty of time to drain endurance while pulling in surrounding mobs to have a continuous battle until the room is clear. But I have shock and discharge... Ill share that build asap. A tip using Faraday cage just in case you're not aware. The buff last, I think 8 seconds, after leaving the area. This means you can cast Faraday cage before entering the fight to buff you & your pets - send them in and cast discharge if you have it and set down a new Faraday in melee. Very sturdy beginning.
  20. You can keep the pets in bodyguard mode while controlling them. Maybe they will just die too fast since you're taking so much damage. IDK let me know? Scorpion shield is effective of course. I mention using bonfire with the idea you are running bodyguard and entering battle along side your pets. Their high resistances in bodyguard mode just might go further with bonfire slowing down incoming damage on you and all your pets by knocking down most enemies (except flying/hover or KD resist) and allowing you more time to heal etc. than scorpion shield offering defense against 3 dmg types, and only for you. Both have their + / - but I think the biggest impact to your play style would be to utilize bodyguard. I can really only imagine how far bodyguard will go since my kinetics was a controller.
  21. I greatly apologize for the post's length I started with one thought and here we are: If your plan is to use RR to get past blinding affects I believe you also must slot the +Perception TP enhancement as well. When I tried with just RR on another toon it did not suffice alone. Power boost is great with electric boosting the heals/absorb and helps to maintain a healthy endurance bar. Really great to use PB followed by Insulating Circuit before engaging mobs for a sturdy start to the mob take down. I agree this build is going to have endurance issues. The /electric skills could use more endurance reduction. The defensive toggles are a bit overloaded with slots moving some of them to the /electric skills will help with this. Also fully slotting Zombie Horde and shifting the aura enhancement buffs between to the pets. Soul Extraction is absolutely amazing you will want this skill up as much as possible and slotted for dmg imo, with a proc or two. I wouldn't drop hasten in favor of reducing SE recharge while empower circuit does wonders to bring it back up you'll be buffed by EC less than half the time of the recharge most likely. My Thoughts of your Build: Build with changes: -Reduce defensive slotting - your pets will take a lot of the dmg for you. Remain in body guard mode at all times. Add Luck of The Gambler + Recharge to your defensive toggles Change Reactive Defenses to LotG -Remove 1 slot from Power Boost - +5 the one recharge enhancement -Remove 2 Slot from Gloom - used slot to pad /electric -Remove Kismet From Combat Jumping - not really needed -Drop Stealth in favor of Leadership pool - use Maneuvers to benefit your pets as well. Slot +stealth IO in sprint for a little stealth if you're looking for that. And change Super Jump to Super Speed for better stealth. -If soloing alot drop Amp Up (it doesnt benefit pets) and grab tactics then you and your minions have perception protection. -The extra knockback protection isn't needed most of the time but I have had a couple battles where I wish I had it - so I left it in your build. But you could free those two slots for something else if wanted. -Changed enhancements for empowering circuit to fit endurance reduction. -Move one of the slots I freed up to Tough for endurance resist/endurance reduction slotting. -Insulating Circuit - Can use better heal % and endurance reduction. If you want to keep the absorb proc in the build Id 6 slot it with preventive medicine and at 6 pieces gives 8.25% recharge. - Enchant Undead and Dark Empowerment: Slot 2 Resist and 2 Heal to boost pets survivability; 2 Resist in Enchant Undead and 2 Heal in Dark Empowerment. -Diversify Pet Enhancement Slotting allowing the use procs that trigger by the pets attacks. -Soul Extraction: Unable to slot 2 enhancements in mids. I'd recommend Cloud Senses chance for negative damage. The last slot is really a playful slot depending what you want but I like to use Overwhelming Force chance for knockdown. Cloud senses has a chance to proc off the Soul's main attack and heal, and OF +KD can proc on each attack I believe. Very handy against bosses - watch them flop around. I've also used Touch of the Nictus chance for energy damage but that only procs on the heal cast every 15 seconds. -Move Gaussians +Dmg proc to Tactics. Every teammate and pet Tactics affects has a chance to proc +DMG on you. -Energizing circuit will serve you better if you drop the +end proc and just slot for endurance reduction. ------------- I would have to play the build and fine tune toward content goals to know for sure if its something I'd keep. I have been running a necro/ea as well. Ill share the build if you'd like. Otherwise I hope the above wasn't to far off base for you.
  22. If what you're most concerned with in your build is taking the alpha strike I would play very similar to your build. I would pick up Heat Mastery for Bonfire and use that as my opener, in theory. I can only imagine the struggle with mitagating the alpha strike using /Kin on higher difficulties. I'm not as concerned dropping melee defense from your build as I would be ranged since mob overcap changes. Would be a slight annoyance to stay ranged but within 20 feet for transference taking the alpha strike. But sounds like you're doing it.
  23. I updated mids but am still unable to open your build. I try to get that working asap. Using Kin I imagine will be tough to skim those defensive numbers. Once I can get your build open I'll swim around a little bit.
  24. Sorry Im a chronic editor and prob was making changes as you replied X.
  25. I dropped most defensive toggles and lean into the high resistance of the necro set. I haven't tried Necro/Dark on homecoming and can't comment what your build values should be at combining a resistance set with a defense & -to hit debuff set. But I don't tankermind with necro I let the pets handle the tanking and stand in the safest spot I can supporting them until its safe to use single target attacks. I'd try skimming off the top of your numbers and give the build a test run. Otherwise if you want to post your build maybe I can suggest something, or someone else might come along. ... forgot to further address the spectres... I don't have the slots in my build to use toward increasing damage of dark blast or gloom. But using Musc alpha, having a little dmg slotted, +dmg proc in Tactics, and running Support Hybrid all lends damage to the attacks that I'm otherwise using for the spectres damage absorption, damage being an afterthought. Sadly, they dont tank the alpha for the pets because they're uncontrollable. Slotting life drain for heal doesn't help the spectre because they do not cast a heal skill. I assume the accuracy benefits them. I also assume the heal % doesn't increase their base health would have to verify tho.
