Right now, broadsword, katana, titan weapons, and assault rifle. The current beta adds pistols, beam rifle, and dual pistols.

You can't replicate the illusionist dress/gown. You can get a nearly perfect juggler/fencer costume, though. That being said, (and I don't mean this to sound critical of your idea), but the Carnie parts are kind of overused, IMHO. Still, if it fits your concept, and it brings you joy, then go for it!

Lemme just... hang a lampshade on this entire situation, and let's agree not to shine a spotlight on such a questionable interaction!

I hear ya! Not only on the belt, but other places as well. Like I said, though, besides the Goldbricker belt and the officer one, which IIRC were ported over from NPCs, we really don't get any "cosmetic-only" weapon options. I mean, I'd love to have shields ported over as back options, even if they don't have any functionality, and some of the claws weapons would look great for savage melee, but they simply don't seem to be going that route...

I am all for more costume options. That being said, the devs seem to be against adding weapons as "mere" costume options - they've implemented various sheathed weapon options, while they could have probably much more easily just made them all standard costume options...

It's not about them needing the license to make changes or anything; It's about giving Homecoming a greater degree of legitimacy and official recognition by the IP holder. Think of it like this - before NCSoft's recognition, Homecoming basically existed as a sort of "pirate server". Now, we're at least slightly more legit than that...

Architect Entertainment - Content Ideas
biostem replied to Arcanum's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
You should probably post this in the general suggestions forum, not one specifically about Architect Entertainment... -
It looks like you'll want to seek out Alan Desslock, located at -1298 258 -431 in Mercy island. Thumbtack command for him: /thumbtack -1298 258 -431

I rely on the kb protection IO on my crab spider, and if I'm opening a fight against a group of council, they'll sometimes spam their grenades and I'll still get knocked back. Similarly, my /ninjitsu sentinels only have the auto power to grant kb protection, and sometimes I'll still get knocked back, since that auto power has a lesser value than similar toggles or clicks.

What you can do is use a few binds to make the pets more or less "fire and forget": /bind lalt+lbutton "petcomall goto passive" /macro Def "petcomall defensive" The first bind makes it so when you alt-left click, your pets go to the spot you clicked and ignore everything else. Once they are where you want them to be, click the 'Def' macro button the command should have created, and your pets will enter defensive mode, meaning they will attack anyone that attacks them first. By using the 2, you simply send your pets where you want, click the button, and they'll take care of themselves. You can then focus on your support powers if you don't want to micro-manage them so much...

With basically unlimited renames, there is nothing stopping you from just creating a character, naming them whatever, then simply renaming them later on down the line when you come up with something better. I am far from the most creative person, but with all the resources available online, there is no excuse for someone not being able to come up with something close to the name they originally wanted, short of stubbornness...

I use dictionary.com/thesaurus.com and rhymezone.com to aid in coming up with new & original names...

Focused Feedback: Arsenal Control
biostem replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
If that's the case, then I still think it needs a bit more to differentiate it from the blaster version... -
Focused Feedback: Arsenal Assault

I kind of feel like this power's animation doesn't fit in properly. Maybe replace it with bayonet from SoAs or a shorter range version of beanbag round. -
What are the most team-friendly Mastermind builds?
biostem replied to ScarlettStorm's topic in Mastermind
Heck, pick anything along with kinetics and most teams will love you! -

I don't think it grants the extra regen and recovery like field operative does... -
Focused Feedback: Arsenal Control

As others have pointed out, it's too similar to the blaster pet found in devices. What if you basically turned it into a less steampunk and more conventional arms version of a Nemesis Jaeger? Heck, even just recolored slightly to grey/silver it could work really well. Another approach could be to allow the power to spawn 2 gun drones, and use the dual pistol ammo types to give each a little flavor. -
Enhancement Drops Should Always Be Usable
biostem replied to Terenos's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I think a better option would be to have certain key battles in these story arcs or TFs reward you, upon their completion, with an appropriately leveled generic IO of the player's choice, that way they never lose that effectiveness. Maybe even go the route of the prestige enh's so they provide a somewhat better bonus, but are still overshadowed by higher level/set IOs. -
Focused Feedback: Arsenal Control
biostem replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Yeah - they should have added a "pin-down" type power where you fire a volley to immobilize your target(s) in place. -

This may sound silly, but why not just port some of the digitigrade beast feet to the regular legs?

Please don't insert so many images before getting to your point. Most people here are already familiar with the characters/images you posted. That being said, I and many others have indeed suggested a more "business-like" single pistol blast set. I'd rather not have melee attacks included, though, unless you were specifically going for an assault or manipulation set. Beyond that, yes, a single pistol set would be awesome!

Enhancement Drops Should Always Be Usable
biostem replied to Terenos's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Enh drops are always useful, by selling the ones you can't use for inf. Heck, I'd even go so far to say that slotting the enh's that you do get as drops, depending upon your immediate need, may actually be an unwise strategy; Waiting until 22 or so, (when you can slot level 25 enh's), and crafting then slotting generic IOs, is, IMHO, the better approach to take. -
There used to be, (and in some circumstances still are), recipes that can drop randomly form certain sources, (see here). That being said, I dislike the notion that you should have to farm specific content in order to just get a chance at a drop. You can look at all the recipes on the AH or wiki, decide which you want, then either work toward earning enough inf or merits to buy them, instead of having to rely on RNGesus instead...
