I have a grav/nrgy Dom but honestly not happy with it. It's perma dom and does a lot of dam. It's just the animations from both sides root the hell out of you. The powerset itself is good. It's permadom with hasten at 85 sec recharge. With hasten it gives dom a recharge of just 65 secs. You also have perma hasten as well as a bonus. That's a nice build may look at it as a secondary.

LOL I forgot about putting an recharge IO in the power very clever, I can't believe I overlooked that. I guess I was so focused on set bonuses. Wow that was good. And perma hasten nice.

One thing I don't try to do is bother with softcapping with Doms and Controllers because it doesn't matter how high your defenses are when your mez duration last 30+ secs. So usually I work on recharge and usually frakenslotting the ATOs.

I don't agree with some of this. Ice/ice is solid and I'm not sure when the last time he used jack but jack can last for a long time. Ice/Ice is designed to mainly be an AOE monster so if you don't use it right you will waste a lot of endurance trying to go back and forth between single target and letting your aoe damage do the work. Immob in general prevents KB or KD so learning when to use ice slic or using your aoe immob really depends on your playstyle. AA is really great and planning a good build not even using purps and you can overcome the end drain AA does. I have a Ice/Ice/Ice dom that I would love to give you a demo OP. Planet Control sounds awesome. Although i know what he meant.

Energy got a buff where it attacks stacks increases the damage. Even if you pick a range attack it contributes to the melee attacks. Energy is the best Melee damage wise for doms.

In pve environment this power is useless as hell. They should reconfigure it to work like Blaster's Ki push.

Without hasten 86 secs, With hasten 66. If you want you can take the two slots out of stamina/ I was using it for hitpoints and put it in hasten you can get perma hasten and domination. But with dom without hasten perma i don't see the point. -

**Correction** Put the fiery orb proc in frostbite and not artic air. With this build you don't need to try and cap resist and def because they will stay locked down. Not to mention Jack does an amazing job with clean up. plus you can rotate with AOEs to death. For me I lockdown first and use my two aoe attacks to damage the mob while held or slipping on the ground. And finish them off with the three range attacks if need be. But by the time I lockdown and aoe Jack usually cleans up the rest. I might kill one or two (I run solo with team set to 8 ) but Jack will get the rest. Plus he will lockdown now as well. -

Plant has far more choices than Mind Control. But for total lockdown Earth/ would be the better option. I would put fire or ice second.

It wasn't just pvp that ruined it. Overall the set was just a powerhouse in single target dps that other sets could not keep up with. When Castle was asking about switching the animation for ET I asked if you could just switch the animation with stun. Stun would be better off with a faster animation than that baseball pitch animation. But he went that that shit we have today.

Freedom Corp logo for female characters in Jackets

When wearing a jacket the freedom corps logo does not appear as an option unless you wear it overtop and it looks awkward. Men have an option to wear is under but females don''t. Oddly enough you can wear the arachnos logo under for a female and overtop. Not suse why that option does not appear for females. -
Honestly I said this multiple times. As a dom trying to focus on having higher defense and resistance is a waste of build. I know everyone has difference playstyle and i respect that. but answer me this. What good is all that resistance will help when you have them locked down in the first place? You really should be focusing on the important stuff which is strengthening your mezzs and working on permadom. With you doing that it will also increase hitpoints/end use/ and damage. With a fire dom you have three pets that's going to do your melee damage and they're pretty good. Slot for recharge and they will be up and running even if taken down. What more you skipped all the melee attacks or attacks that would put you in close range of an enemy so why even focus on resist and def? You're gimping yourself by not permadoming (and again I understand everyone has their own style of play, but permadoms is what makes us gods on the battlefield) Your end use is bad. Looking at your numbers within a second rotation of your chains you should be low on end. Progressively this game has moved past strategic gameplay and is morely a dps game. Corrs/blasts/scrapp are going to eat through most of the stuff you even begin to laydown. So trying to make a damage build is going to greatly put you behind them. Not sure why you skipped char and took ring of fire when your aoe immob has the same mag as the single target. Not to mention putting the fiery orb proc you have been better since you can put it in position to hit multiple targets as opposed to one enemy. Looking at your build your single target immob is one sec slower than the aoe. I'm not sure if you have any experience with that proc (fiery orb) but it fires off a lot and will greatly supplement the dps with your imps had you just slotted it in fire cages. You skipped bonfire/cinders/flashfire? Ok at this point you're not a dom because your crowd control is done. Why not just roll a fire/fire/fire blaster? You would do far more dps than this build. You took hover what's the point in aiming for kb protection? I am really lost here. Hover won't allow for you to be knocked back just makes you do a silly flip. Also perma doms don't worry about kb. I wish you the best of luck with this build but honestly you defeat the purpose of being a dom. PS put some health procs in health and an an end proc stamina.

That's what I keep saying. With strong mezzs having cap resists really doesn't matter when they can't hit you in the first place. It makes no sense to even bother with going for resists/def when they'll be dead long before they get a change to really digging into your health. Even a pure melee dom doesn't need it if his/her mezzs are strong.

I don't have a rotation for thorns like i do /ice assault but were the fire orbs firing off each time you hit the aoe? Those will help with dps

I agree with that, Man with earth you can really get some good frakenslotting out of it. The fact you can slot ice slick is a bit disappointing. But at the same time you can make it perma and free up some slots to go to other needed powers.

I'm curious to see what everyone's opinion as far as their best dom pet. By no means is this thread created to see which one of them is the G.O.A.T. (Jack is btw), but just your collective thoughts and opinions of them. For me I have to rank Jack first. From the moment he is summoned he is on FSU (Explictive F*ck Sh*t Up) mode. He holds back nothing, In another thread I was warning an user Jack is a kill steal pet. If you thought you were going in melee outdoing him you got another thing wrong in life. He will not even let his summoner out do him My second favorite is Singularity. Honestly when I summon it I really feel useless because even with permadom it's holds seem to be better than mine. Not to mention it doesn't like enemies getting close and its repel will send them flying. And I've noticed or maybe I was drunk but it has propel attack. Honestly when I summon singularity I feel as if I'm the pet and its the boss. So just curious to see what stories or opinions you have to share about your Dom Pet (Or boss if you're a gravity user).

Just a warning. Jack in melee is not a joke. He will most likely kill steal from you. I actually get mad at him sometimes.
