  1. 1) Take both. As a dom you want lockdown rather it be a hold or stun. That's a no brainer, 2) Skip the single target and choose the aoe. The aoe has roughly the same recharge and same mag level immob.
  2. Dark sorcery. Plus it has a good tier 5 power.
  3. Concept wise I'm liking the combination of these two. I was thinking plant/psi but been curious to try out rad. Thanks for the idea.

    AV Killer?

I've used my Ice/Ice to take down AVs. As well as Grav/Nrgy. But the easiest one to take down AVs would be my earth/psi. That thing is proc heavy and makes thnings a bit unfun in far as challenge which is why i rarely play it anymore.

  6. So this build is going to give you a lot. It's a bit expensive but once the investment is achieve you're going to do a lot. Without hasten you are at a recharge of 94 sec (Four secs short of permadom) dom. With hasten you're perma. You have a great damage bonus and kniockdown for days, Good def which will turn into great defense once you activate Unleash Potential. Nearly at cap for smash/lethal. And most importantly your end use is crazy low even with all the toggles on while you have great recovery. Not to mention your mezz duration is almost if not capped so expect long hold times. (Get it...long hold times...No? :C)
  7. Energy Melee is trash. You get more benefits going electric melee.
  8. You don't have the returns because you have a lot of diminished returns in your build. Pay attention to your set bonuses you're using.
  9. Yea Singy is a monster on it's own. I honestly don't recall singy being this strong on live. But I let singy loose on a +4 mob (4 count) and it was literally utilizing all the grav powersets which I did not know it could do.
  10. Yea sounds bout right. Earth aggros like crazy Slotting the equivalent is smart until you get the purps you need, The slotting for fossilize and stone cages gives you an Ultimate bonus to your mezz powers almost to the point where you can almost cap your mezz duration meaning longer holds/stuns/sleeps. It also gives good dam bonus. The proc in stone cages fiery orb fires off a lot and does decent damage. There are going to be times where you can stack 3+ fiery orbs depending on how much you are using cages. Fossilize has a plus damage proc and with a recharge of 2 secs you have a good chance increasing your damage. not to mention the set has an ultimate damage bonus to assist overall with increasing your damage. So this build is overall as explained with the first post i made really gives your an opportunity to hit on a lot of areas. But please see fit to alter the build for your playstyle. if you see fit to try other sets by all means.
  11. Oh my bad I really misread your post lol.
  12. It's cool bro I can answer them question. The only power you're going to be using out the presence pool is unrelenting. You're going to use that in combination with unleash potential. Unleash potential has an end and -recov crash after it's buff wears out. But you can mitigate that with unrelenting. So click on unrelenting and the unleash potential. Hover is just there to get the 7.5 recharge out of the lotg. You actually don't use that in combat. Especially with earth powers. Also in that build for unleash potential switch the lotg Def for the global proc. And there is easily another 7.5 recharge.
  13. I don't farm with this build. (I have a spines/fa brute for that.) But for pve wise I fell in love with this build. And I loved my ice/ice dom. But this easily replaces it. You have everything in this build. Boosted +mezz/dam/recharge/recov/regen/def/permadom. Plus endurance is not going to be an issue so that help with choosing other incarnate abilities. 14. So we are going to forget how fire/psi doms can take out a 8 man group with ease? Because last time I remember i used to farm with a fire/psi and had no end issues. I mean between patron powers/incarnate abilities/perma doming, what end issues? If you're going to be fighting vanguard/ praetorian foes, that's a diff story as they resist mezz pretty well. But again with incarnates filling the gap should be an issue since you have an incarnate abilities that restores end plus offers recharge and +recov or patron abilities. End game fire/psi dom should be fine

    Power Wormhole

You need to be fixed. Wormhole is working as intended.
  16. Trying to zero end an entire group is nearly impossible but I'm sure someone will say they do it with ease. Best just keep them mezzed.
  17. I have an electric dom and I can't say that is 100 percent true. It always looks as if I got them down to zero end but they still recover enough to launch an attack.
  18. I never attempted to take alpha and as soon as you jumped in I threw my holds on the mobs while you were in the middle. And I'm not sure what you mean, "but I don't get why you insinuate you shouldn't in your earlier post in this thread is all. " this thread only has one page and this is my third post. I think you're confusing this thread for another.
  19. Naw, you were crushing through them. You seem to take defense in me saying that when I said there was nothing wrong with using insps. But hey in mah feelinz, right? Again you died three times less than me. I would hardly call that out performing me. It was never my goal to perfect your build as you're being defensive about it. Starting to see why now you want your doms defense heavy. Matches something. My build had flaws in it too hence why I am reworking my build. As you mentioned the incarnates have pretty good resistance towards mezz so I'm adjusting to compensate for that. I don't mind coming along again. I would say I enjoyed our time together, but you seem rather upset so I'll pass.
  20. I mean to be honest you died three times less than I did when we played together. And while I popped hibernate you were crushing through insps. Nothing wrong with using insps but my gameplay relies on using powers. And that's only because of an old habit from being a duelist back on live. But to throw my two cents into the argument. All my doms have 135% recharge. But what I have been doing lately is redoing the builds to include more resists and aiming towards the HP cap. But if you want to go defense then that's fine too. Everyone plays differently, I myself prefer my targets be mezz'd for like 'ever. But there is nothing wrong investing in extra insurance coming from building up for def or resist.
  21. Curious to see what that build look like in mids
  22. End game for doms is perma dom. Unless you waste a lot of money on IO's early on. Well I guess it's not a waste if you get what you achieve. Honestly you really should do fine whatever you roll early on.
  23. I use Google chrome Version 79.0.3945.79 (Official Build) (64-bit)and when i normally type in the text boxes, let's say I spell a word wrong or need to paste something. Right click is not a feature. I can Ctrl-V to get around pasting. But the spell check is annoying. To get around this I had to install an extension in chrome (Which I'm not going to name in case you want to try and block it) to add that feature back. Is there anyway you can allow right clicks or is it able to be enabled in settings somewhere I'm overlooking?
  24. Not sure why people downplay icy assault. Psionic assault would be good too.
