So with this build you can be melee or play it safe and be mid range. You have permadom without hasten coming in at 88.4 rchrg ((Dom last for 90 secs). With hasten you're at a 67.51 rechrg) Now this is an expensive build but if you got it its nothing. I farm most days so purps aren't anything. Ice slick with hasten is perma meaning they will always be bouncing up and down unless you use an immob. Your damage is pretty good. (22%) End use is great, Acc is great. You're going to survive with the enhancement of your mez powers. Duration meaning they are going to have a lot of down time while you hold/stun/sleep/immon/slow them. Not to mention the amount of aoe damage you're doing. Solo is going to be good. Teams is going to be great. No end problems. I can make a good build for you. Are you trying to be a melee dom, all around dom, or range dom? Are you able to afford Purps and ATOs? Do you want hasten in your build or no? I ask this because some builds I don't have hasten and I do just fine. Especially with the incarnate ability that offers recharge. What travel power do you prefer?

He has permadom in that build. Barely. I normally recommend getting domination to perma before relying on hasten to give you that extra boost. You capped hitpoints. Very impressive. I normally gripe about why doms try to go for resist/def when you can literally stop an enemy in their traps, but overall you did a good job with those numbers. I would much rather you focus on increasing your damage because your build lacks any major burst damage. I guess for a team it wouldn't be noticeable. Your end usage is going to be horrible, Without factoring in attack chains you're going to eat a lot of end. Two slotting stamina just for the increase movement speed is a waste when you have a travel power. just enhance the IO and you're good. Hasten only needs one slot. I take back what I said about capping hitpoints. You had hoarfrost on. Without it you're at 1200. Still decent tho good job. Overall. If you're standing still not attacking, these numbers look great. In battle...good luck with endurance.

I still do not see the point in attempting to cap resist/defense when you have the ability to stop your enemies in their places. Seriously, you don't have enough burst damage to go toe to toe with the higher level bosses. They will eat you alive. What you should be focusing on is frankenslotting the Dom ATOs and increasing your recharge and health.

Since when? I haven't pvp'd since the old live days, but I do recall having permadom on my Mind/Ice dom.

1) Ok cool. I missed seeing you put it in something else. My bad. 2) Damage from set bonuses 3) My man 4) Ok see one. 5) You should leave it one slotted with the proc. Those 7.5 movement bonuses are useless 6) From set bonuses if done properly you'll get enough acc. And running tactics helps further. Using hamis for those with one slots are fine. But if you have it in powers with multiple slots you're gimping yourself from good set bonuses 7) Stealth IO is only going to benefit you from afar. Close up and they are going to see you regardless 8 ) So are slots. You can one slot them with a recharge enhance +3 and it would be almost the same as two slotting. So you are wasting slots 9) It takes 30 secs to build up dom 10) A;lso you're a dom with permadom. You shouldn't be concerned with trying to cap resistance or soft capping defense. Because if you crowd control properly, they aren't going to hit you while they are slept or held.

1) Temp Invul. You skipped the Max HP IO. Why? 2) You need to also be aiming for more damage so why not frankenslot for it? 3) You actually built for permadon so this is a compliment. Thank you for remembering you're still a dom. Can not stress that enough, 4) For melee you want to try and cap you Hitpoints (1600) as much as possible. An easy way to get more Hitpoints would be to put that max HP back in. 5) If you're going to three slot stamina you would have been better with efficiency adaptors. 6) Drop the Hamis. 7) Lose the stealth IO in combat jumping. 8 ) Power up and hasten only needs to be one slotted 9) You don't need KB IOs with permadom

TBH no. But if you do take hasten you only need it to be one slotted. I would not waste slots on hasten. Instead enhance the recharge IO Also for power pool choices I usually choose Concealment (Stealth, grant stealth), Jumping (Combat jump), Leadership (Maneuvers, tactics, veng). That's an easyway to get five lotg in. Plus who doesn't like getting invis to stealth through long missions?

I feel like Ice for a secondary is being downplayed. It's not going to have the burst damage to fire, but it should be right behind fire. And the secondary slow effects doesn't take long to notice seeing how every attack has -spd. Ice would pair better with gravity or ice as primary because the have -spd as secondaries as well. I've made an Ice/Ice/Ice dom and against EBs/AVs and its pure monster. Keeping them at bay greatly increases my survival odds.

For a dom, your first priority should be going for permadom. You don't even need KB IOs for a dom if you can keep domination up. Secondly, if you're going to be in melee mode you need to at least aim to cap HP (Which for a dom is 1600) if you aren't going to build for permadom Thirdly, you need to better learn to frankenslot your build for better set bonuses. You capped smashing and lethal, but you barely have over 1100 hitpoints. Meaning anything else you're being eaten alive. Fourthly, you have so many diminishing returns with the 3% damage buff. After five of the same set bonuses the rest don't count so you aren't doing as much damage as you think. Fifthly, skipping dominate and total dominate is going to be your achilles heel. I get concept builds and you should play what you like. I don't see you surviving that long and against bosses and up you aren't going to fair well. On a team you aren't going to contribute much either. -

Man I remember fighting him on my elec/elec dom. Keeping him at range is best, But he hits hard regardless. To the OP. For my dom I carry oranges and greens. You're going to get hit. Best you can do is mitigate the damage some and heal back up.

Honestly been experimenting ith this set and had no luck. Seems to be better focusing on regeneration and recharge

Back in the day I used to play with an Ice/EnergyMelee tank. Slows and stuns are all you need.

Thank you. I was still trying to find a way to raise the resistance for negative energy pass 73. I took out lightning reflex and replaced it with hurl. Unslotted kick and slotted hurl with three force feedback which gives 3% to energy, negative resistance and two salvo which gives 1.5% to energy, negative resistance but it only brought it up to 76.2%.
